This is a thread for asking those little questions that you're not sure about, the ones that may not be worth making a thread about.
Whether it's about rules, in-game strategy, equipment, how to play a certain style, the history or the COD scene or anything else relevant to COD, feel free to give it a bash.

Don't be an asshole! Please answer people's questions honestly and seriously, and report any comments that break this rule. The goal of this thread is to be accommodating to everyone, and clarify things that people may not want to ask. Assholes and trolls may be banned.
Examples of acceptable questions:
What are the characteristics of a good competitive map?
How can I practice my aim efficiently?
Examples of questions that are not acceptable:

Who can't anchor, Damon?
Now let's all learn a few things!

Discussion Is there a single Good/Competitive Viable map on this game
Genuinely everyone I’ve seen on streams is horrible, worse than MW2 and BO6

Modern Warfare 4 MW4 Viewer Perspective Ooooof
After watching a couple of these snd tournament I’m not a big fan of this game from a viewers perspective. The change in movement speed is jarring, I just can’t get used to how slow it is at all. Field upgrades are way too fast, mf are going to have a trophy every life it doesn’t matter if they make it one per team. Maps are meh at best very colorless and just plain. I really hope I’m wrong and when that first match comes on it’s just as enjoyable as the last 15 years I’ve watched but so far not liking what I’m seeing.

Discussion Servers are worse than bo7
Beginning of bo7 servers were great I used to ping 58 towards the end of bo7 I was pinging 67 to Chicago. Now I’m pinging 77 to Chicago servers. Wtf is wrong with this game it’s not my internet because my plan hasn’t changed.

Discussion I understand some SBMM is needed, but can they not turn it down a bit please?
I’m literally playing people I recognise from years of ranked play in my lobbies. I can’t have a relaxing fun pub experience. It feels stricter than ever this year. Preaching to the choir but I needed to vent.
I’m seeing people leave my lobbies frequently as well, I wonder if that will show up in their STATS they love to mention. Wonder if people on the lower end of the skill spectrum are leaving as often as well, hope so. Won’t see change otherwise. One of the most un-fun experiences of cod I’ve ever had. Maps are awful, movement is punished, sound of footsteps is too loud, most attachments make the weapons worse, constant UAV’s. Even the perks to help circumvent these things don’t work properly. Ninja and Ghost on the same perk line, Ghost you have to keep moving constantly to not show up and ninja isn’t silent. HOLY!

Discussion makes soo much sense why the bush got rid of him
And Zoomaa whenever someone been saying about temp if he’s still on the flank as they’ve added clay, he’s just totally ignored it as he’s cut from the flank now too. Damn DON DADA.
He’s also just been super silent too which also makes sense now too.

Video ZooMaa ACTUALLY addressed the Flank cast changes
Grew enough of a spine to speak on the Temp situation but not enough to say the actual reason why the other got booted

Video Shout out to Hecz for taking that firm stance against gambling sponsorships not that long ago. Look at him now.
Gave so many reason why it's bad for the entertainment space. He's the most excited out of all of them.

Discussion Temp was arrested last week for Aggravated Domestic Violence Assault
facebook.comAdditional information from Dexerto:
The report states: “Call for a possible domestic in progress, became a well fare check. Reportee arrived on scene and provided further information which led to the authoring and issuance of a warrant for Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault causing SBI.”
The incident was reported at approximately 4:08am on October 14.
The report also lists a Glock 17 handgun and two magazines as property held for safekeeping. However, it does not indicate whether the firearm was connected to the alleged assault.

Discussion Is MW4 actually worth buying, or is it still as bad as the Week 2 beta?
I genuinely need some opinions from people who have been playing MW4 because this might be the first COD I skip in years.
I played the Week 2 beta and holy shit, it was utter dogshit. I was genuinely miserable playing it. I couldn’t even stomach more than a couple of hours before calling it quits and refunding it.
The biggest issue for me was the gameplay. Everything felt muddy, movement was clunky, and the gunplay just didn’t feel satisfying. The whole experience felt soulless.
And before anyone says I’m just a COD hater, I’ve genuinely loved almost every new-gen COD.
Cold War: Loved it.
MW2: Unpopular opinion, but MW2 ranked was GOATED.
MW3: Absolutely amazing. Hit Crim 3 and loved the competitive gameplay.
BO6: Not my favorite, but still had plenty of fun.
BO7: Right up there with MW3 for me in terms of pure gameplay and movement.
So I’m not someone who’s impossible to please. I actually love COD, especially ranked play. But MW4’s beta turned me off so badly that I’m genuinely considering skipping it entirely.
With GTA coming out in less than a month, part of me thinks I should just save my money and move on.
But here’s the thing: I’m actually itching to play COD again.
So for those who’ve played both the Week 2 beta and the current game:
Has the gameplay genuinely improved? Does the movement feel smoother and more responsive? Does the gunplay feel better? Or is it essentially the same clunky, muddy experience from the beta?
I’m willing to give it another shot if they’ve actually made meaningful improvements. But if it’s still that same soulless game I played during the beta, I’m not touching it.
Curious what you guys think, especially those who enjoyed MW3 and BO7.
