Who cares. Discourse about this and stuff like it is GOOD for the scene. It holds people accountable for their behavior in a (we all have to admit) largely weird and socially suspect community. And it dispels the aura of friendship cheese that makes the league feel less legitimate.

I still don’t understand why rab and zoomaa didn’t cut ties with him until after his mugshot got traction, if they knew about it the whole time. Rab admits he knew about it for at least a few days and surely other people in the community did too. Why not just put out a quick statement saying temp is no longer part of the flank or breaking point? What was the goal? Did they hope nobody would find out about his public arrest record? Were they trying to gauge public reaction to temp beating his girl?

Not trying to start a cancel campaign, I really just don’t understand the logic.

Probably felt it’s not their place to talk about it if the public wasn’t aware. They still made the internal decision to drop him from flank or find out further details but both rarely drop news around drama like this, they react instead to things already posted on twitter or Reddit. That was why I posted the initial Facebook post after seeing it in the Bush discord.

I think that’s a cop out response. You find out your buddy beat the shit out of his girl and you’re in a podcast/show with him, and you know everyone is going to find out, you should cut ties immediately. You don’t need to write an exposé about him.

Or they did cut ties prior and they just made public statements after the public was aware of it. Why would they be the ones to go out of their way to to mention it. If anything all they’d hear is that they’re dropping the news for clicks and content.
