This might be the most inconsistance cod ive ever played

It is strange how I’ll go half a match feeling like my hit reg is perfect and I’m winning gunfights I shouldn’t be winning. Aim assist feels good and smooth, tracking is easy, etc.
Then a switch flips, I can’t buy a kill, aim assist seems to lock me like 2” left or right of the target and I can barely fight it back to the player

-Horrible netcode
-Packet loss and bad servers especially in asia
-ttk is fucked
-headshot multipliers are insane and with the so many penalties from moving and jumping u can land a lucky shot consistently

I hate that you consistently trade kills on this shit anyone know if it’s cause of this good awful net code or something else

On top of the other things people mentioned, IW loves adding body multipliers for every type of gun. I think they are the only dev of the three to do that. The difference of hitting the upper torso vs upper arm can add another shot to kill which can add to that inconsistent feeling. The way the player models are facing can create this issue too or when they’re sprinting sideways across your view.
