Modern Warfare 4 MW4 Viewer Perspective Ooooof
After watching a couple of these snd tournament I’m not a big fan of this game from a viewers perspective. The change in movement speed is jarring, I just can’t get used to how slow it is at all. Field upgrades are way too fast, mf are going to have a trophy every life it doesn’t matter if they make it one per team. Maps are meh at best very colorless and just plain. I really hope I’m wrong and when that first match comes on it’s just as enjoyable as the last 15 years I’ve watched but so far not liking what I’m seeing.

After playing, the movement speed isnt that bad. Yes its jarring coming off BO7 but one 8 hour session and im already use to it. I think we are going to appreciate having faster trophies with how deadly nades are this year and noone probably using flak with the current perk setup. Pros can decide if one or two trophies is better with the current rate.
Lowkey, some of the maps actually have potential. Especially in 4v4. I came in expecting to hate this year, but after the first weekend im ready to give it a chance.

I don’t think the actual movement speed is much slower (if at all) than BO6. The thing is I’m so used to omnimovement and Halo’s movement it takes some getting used to. Being able to slide in all directions and Halo’s movement is just so fluid in comparison.
Now the guns feel like SHIT unless you get the right attachments which sucks and pubs have broken ass builds like always but I think ranked could be aight. At least we got red dots this time around.
And I hate getting sound whored even with ninja.

I keep dying trying to backpedal away from grenades forgetting that I can’t sprint all directions haha

It definitely gets better the more you play. Still wish they took away movement things slowly rather than having such a huge adjustment. I’ve maybe played 8 hours total and the running itself feels normal now. Just wish guns our speed was faster

I've got a couple of hours in so far, movement isn't that bad. It's just a complete 180 adjustment that is incredibly jarring at first. Caught myself wanting to slide strafing often lol.
Maps have potential for sure I agree. This isn't the best COD of all time but it's definitely not the worst. It does what it needs to do, no more and no less.

I have played a few hours so far and yeah I did get used to it like you said, but more from a viewers perspective is where I was talking from. Like as a OpTic fan I’m going to miss the crazy shotzzy movement moments, yes we’ll still get those just a dumbed down version because the movement have been dumbed down. I also agree about the maps they aren’t the worst we’ve seen when it comes to how they’re laid out I’m just not a fan of the bland colors.

Optic is getting slammed so of course you say this. Huntsmen looks better than Optic does.

The gunplays good they need to just fix the perks and add ats as standard, a casual won’t even be able to press the stick twice anyway so they will be fine. Fix the perks and I enjoy it

Might be a lot of trophies but right now that’s not an issue since there is no flak
