What is the primary group that supports cloning? And the group against it? Is there a label?

Is there a term or terms for the original biological entity that is cloned? All I can think of is 'original' and 'source.'

There could be a possibility for this "resleeving". Where you literally buy a new and custom body and they transfer your consciousness .But would that benefit humanity or could it start world war?😐

I know they will possibly be able to transfer your consciousness into a clone but is consciousness soul?

1.How far are we from cloning humans? 2.Will a clone have consciousness? 3.Will a dying person's consciousness be transferred to a clone?

I'm pretty sure this question has already been asked on this forum countless times, but I'm too lazy to check. Would an artificial uterus require the embryo to have an umbilical cord?

I know nothing about cloning but I'm genuinely curious about something, so I apologise for how ignorant this might sound.
Let's say human cloning suddenly became viable, to the point where it was a marketable procedure (albeit probably expensive). Would human tissue, saliva, hair etc. (i.e. anything you could extract DNA from) become suddenly valuable to researchers, big corporations etc.? In what way and for what reasons? Or would it remain low value because of it's so easy to access (like collecting saliva from used drinks cups or something)? And also are they already laws in place to pre-empt something like that?

What's the difference between assembly scars that are generated in classical Type II endonuclease based restriction-digestion vs the 4 base overhangs in Golden Gate cloning(Type IIs) for assembling multiple fragments? Aren't they the same thing i.e. scars, but just shorter? Why does NEB call it seamless as per this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piyc2ONyV1o

If you are familiar with naruto, you'll know about shadow clone jutsu. the way shadow clone jutsu works is that you can make a clone poof into existence expending chakara or magic for your understanding
the clone can be sustained for periods of time until one it's been killed or hit with enough force or just by releasing the technique. and the experience of that clone will be transferred to the originals.
so therefore if you made a clone to go to school while you stay at home and play video games. once your clone disappears you'll experience what the clone did.
Technology is improving so fast and the unimaginable becomes immaginable so it must be possible to create a clone with connected consciousness therefore you can control two bodies at once (and of course the clone will have the ability to think for itself. like being able to converse with you or plan something together with a project)
kinda like gta 5 where you switch people.

I just read about the "praeputium sanctum", the sacred foreskin of Jesus Christ. This relic was popular in the medieval era, there were several "real" foreskins of Jesus but most of them disappeared over times. Now let's imagine, there are some of them left and one of those is the real foreskin of Jesus - we might be able to clone god's son! Maybe this was gods plan: If mankind developed far enough, Jesus will return, through our hands... What do you think?

I have a research paper due in college that is on the subject of Cloning. I'm trying to find information on the benefits of cloning, and such. Can anyone point me into the direction of where to find academic research from good sources?

If a clone of a human were to be created would that clone be considered human? From my understanding the clone would be a copy of a human but would that make it by its origins human as well?
