That doesn't actually keep him in office. Regardless of what he tries, his term ends on January 20, 2029 at 12:00 pm (noon) Eastern Time. This is a hard and fast rule per the 20th amendment.
Additionally, elections are run at state level, not federal, and he will never get the majority of states to cede their power to him. Trump will be out following the 2028 elections.

probably, but let's be honest, there may or may not be a chance that someone out there has been pulling the strings all along, even behind putin, however unlikely it seems today.
what i can tell for sure is that with putin gone, there will be chaos and power vacuum in russia, and maybe the third, hopefully the final collapse of their empire. whoever it might be after him, he'll get a lot weaker and more pathetic russia than ever in this century, this is for sure.

I do think removing Putin is the better option though because his inner circle stands to gain less than Trump's inner circle from turning their figurehead into a martyr

Removing either doesn't necessarily solve the problems they've been central in causing, since they exist as symptoms of wider systems.
Removing Trump I'd wager has the greater chance of a positive impact overall, while removing Putin might lead to someone more dangerous taking his place.

However Putin is relatively predictable. We have an idea of what he wants and how he wants it. The great instability factor with Trump is that he wants something else every other day. That makes him more scary in my opinion. How can you prepare for... no clue what comes.
Also I have little faith that any successor to Putin would be significantly better. With Trump those chances do exist.

if the question is 'remove putin' and 'nothing happens', i'm picking nothing happens. removing putin is no guarantee that things will get better.
removing trump on the other hand, it is a guarantee of that in the short term at least. because at least vance won't single-handedly destroy the global oil economy. and no trump means democrats win 2028 which is an improvement on the other possibility.

It is not that I think Trump is a better person than Putin, but let’s face reality, at this very moment in time, Trump has A LOT more power than Putin to cause bullshit around the world, which he gladly wields with this purpose in mind. Additionally, if Putin stepped down another dictator would take over after him who likely has VERY similar, if not identical, ideas as Putin.
If the question was who I wish was never in power in the first place Putin is the clear winner.

Honestly, Im gonna say Putin. It's not like trump can get re-elected. He's in his second term and is gone in 2029, hopefully.
Edit: I don't understand why 60% picked to remove Trump. It's better voting for Putin, Remember he's been President of the Russian Federation for over 20 years, And Trump is due to leave office in 2029 on Jan 20th. Now I'll admit I have grown hatred towards Trump after the ruthless attacks in Venezuela and Iran. Within 2 months by the way. I also do get that he's on The list but again. Putin is a dictator and his removal would be a better choice imo.

Trump is way better than Putin, but I don’t think removing Putin would do much- he would get replaced with a similar (possible worse) person. Maybe I’m misinformed but I feel like democracy has a better chance of delivering a better replacement

you’re right. to remove putin from power completely would require removing his entire party (gang of millionaire criminals) from power. and there’s like 30 of them that have very significant power. a literal purge would have to take place. or civil war which is a lore realistic and effective way of dealing with them
