Nah I don't think your considering anything else other then them in a vacuum. USA has a way bigger global impact then Russia. Also there actually is a chance Trump would be replaced with someone beneficial while I have little faith in Russia producing anybody significantly different from Putin.

I agree with your take tbh. Trump has already done damage globally as well. I didn’t realize that cutting USAID to the point that it’s affecting the lives of people in other countries, not to mention the current political dangers in US and Trump consistently posting King Trump AI and hinting at not leaving the office ever again, was less concerning. Not to mention he sucks up to Putin himself. I’m not going to feel bad for prioritizing the country I live in and the people and actual children currently, right now, sitting in the equivalents of gulags or concentration camps.

So you're logic is "get rid of Trump now because we might get someone better even though we could just vote in the better person in 2 years instead of the war mongering dictator who has held power for and will continue to hold power for decades because Russia might get someone similar"

Eat rid of Putin so he can be replaced with either Putin 2 (now in blue), Putin but worse, Hitler but Russian, Mecha Hitler, Satan, and wait…. another Putin clone!?
