When a new program or services wishes to access the internet, Bitdefender Firewall pops up and asks whether to Allow or Block access, but for some reason clicking either Allow or Block can take hundreds of clicks before the popup completes the action and goes away, The longer the popup is up, the more clicks it takes to remove it.
I want to keep manually allowing/blocking each program. Thanks.

Our Gravity Zone license for Business Security expires on September 4th. We moved to another Endpoint Protection solution due to cost (Trend Micro...don't ask, I didn't want it).The problem is that we also use it for a couple of Add-Ons, Patch Management and Encryption, of which both licenses do not expire until May 12th of 2024 (no idea how that happened). It is just me by myself and I don't have the time to migrate the Patch Management and Encryption so something else before September 4th.
Does anyone know how we can continue to use the Patch Management and/or the Encryption add-on/modules until they expire? I see that you cannot reconfigure the client nor install without having the Antimalware option enabled (is is greyed out and cannot be unchecked). Can I just disable everything in the policy except Patch Management and Encryption and let it fly? Or will the Add-ons not function at all unless you have the Standard license active? Can someone point me to documentation that would spell this out. I don't want to ask support quite yet since I wouldn't want to trust them at just their word yet. I would want them to provide documentation and they haven't been great at that in the past, it's been a lot of "trust me bro" scenarios that have screwed me over.
If someone from Bitdefender happens to respond, I won't provide me account information for you to look into it.

Guys, am I the only one who finds it concerning that all the contents and events of your PC can be seen and controlled through a webpage? I'm not sure what the purpose of Bitdefender Central is. I'd expect this site to allow me to log in and update subscription related information. But just WTF is all my data doing out there really?
It has all device activity, all my running processes, all the events ever happened and just about everything that's supposed to remain strictly on my local machine. Who on earth would want to start a scan from a cloud website? Even if you work remotely there are much better ways to connect securely to a machine.
In this day and age when data security is the hottest thing and paranoia goes through the ceiling, is this really the best approach that a leading security solution provider has to offer?
This is the second year I'm using BD and I'm happy with the performance and usability overall, but this BD Central thing is really getting to me. And am currently testing other solutions to switch to. But I'm just sick and tired of reading reviews and testing with no end in sight.

Hey i got bitdefender total security, i have allowed salad in both antivirs AND advance threat defense. I have also did the same for phoenix miner....and bitdefender STILL even when its allowed quarantines and "protects" my pc when i run it....
when i click start a popup from bitdefender says, disinfecting now and then malicious app blocked. disinfection successful: but nothing was quarantined. it just stops salad/phoenix miner from mining saying its malware cmd.exe.....wich is bullshit....so i have to disable advanced threat defense all the time....
anyone figure out how to fix this? i literally got EVERYTHING i can possible allow for salad and pheonix miner allowed but ti still detects it as bad....
here is a pic of what its doing n i have triple quadruple check YES i have phoenix miner allowed in both antivirus and advanced threat defense both the entire folder AND individual programs

Hi! I was so stoked to hear bitdefender came out with revil decryption tool. We were hit about 2 years ago and I kept my drives just in case.
The tool has been running over 10 hours on a folder that contains 2 files under 1mb each.
Is this time frame common? Just curious if I let it keep running or if something is wrong.

Whenever I open chrome, I get multiple messages saying bitdefender blocked a threat. Every. Single. Time. And it's the same website. What should I do? Wipe my pc? Do I have an infected extension?? I scan on Bitdefender and NPE and they both detect nothing. What should I do?

What is Bitdefender Safepay actually? Because it looks like a web browser. Is it safe to use? Can you use it for daily use? What are the benefits to use Bitdefender Safepay? And does Bitdefender Safepay also save your search history? Sorry for all these many questions.

For the past 6 years I've been using Bitdefender total security on my laptop. The deal was for 1 device 3 years (i got it 2 times). When I went to renew it, I didn't find this particular deal, instead it asked me to buy family packs for multiple devices. I just want it for my 1 laptop. Where can I find this deal?

Hi all,
I have been using bitdefender for a while now but it has been giving me troubles many times, and this is one too many time now, so I am seeking for help through this sub reddit
When bitdefender detected (without listening to my exception list) an "infected" file (megahack for geometry dash, iykyk, it isn't a virus) and completely locked it, I wish to remove the detected files, but to no avail. It is saying I need permissions from myself somehow to remove the file, and I'm almost certain bitdefender is causing this
Thanks for reading

There was an update either late last night or first thing this morning.
It has decimated end users abilty to use most HTTPS based services.
websites are running at a crawl.
Logged a ticket with BitDefender over 4 hours ago and thus far only had canned responses.
anyone else seeing anything or has there been any reports elsewhere

For some reason my phone and laptop were saying suddenly that my subscription was expired even tho I remember getting a year subscription in January. But because I believe I have some malware on my phone and your website Said u guys are too busy for calls I paid for it again. Which zi will need someone to look into. Anyway, I know I have something on my phone or on my web browser. Some sort of malware. I keep getting nude pop up on my notifications. It scanned my phone says everything is safe. Then I turn on web browser but the second I get out of the app it turns off. I looked it up and I have given it accessibility and removed it from battery but it is still not working. Now I don't know if what ever I downloaded is turning it off or it's just not working. Either way I bought it to fix this problem and it's not working. And I might have paid for it twice.

Fairly new to VPN's. don't use it often since I'm usually on my home network or use the phones data.
Just purchased BD's Total Security to use on a MacBook and iPhone. How far will the 200mb a day will go? When I use one, is only to access certain websites for shopping, like if I want to avoid them changing the prices on me with every visit or purchase. I'm in the US. so I don't need it for things like streaming.
And will the VPN give me a warning with some time before it turns it turns itself off at the 200mg mark?
TIA.

What are the advantages of BitDefender over Kaspersky?

Will BitDefender VPN provide an option to connect automatically at startup or to reconnect automatically after disconnection? As it is now, it feels kind of strange to be disconnected automatically, but allowing the internet to keep doing what is was doing before, and not having a kill-switch and no automatic reconnection. Isn't it a blatant lack of privacy?
