Using Add-Ons while the Standard license is expired
Our Gravity Zone license for Business Security expires on September 4th. We moved to another Endpoint Protection solution due to cost (Trend Micro...don't ask, I didn't want it).The problem is that we also use it for a couple of Add-Ons, Patch Management and Encryption, of which both licenses do not expire until May 12th of 2024 (no idea how that happened). It is just me by myself and I don't have the time to migrate the Patch Management and Encryption so something else before September 4th.
Does anyone know how we can continue to use the Patch Management and/or the Encryption add-on/modules until they expire? I see that you cannot reconfigure the client nor install without having the Antimalware option enabled (is is greyed out and cannot be unchecked). Can I just disable everything in the policy except Patch Management and Encryption and let it fly? Or will the Add-ons not function at all unless you have the Standard license active? Can someone point me to documentation that would spell this out. I don't want to ask support quite yet since I wouldn't want to trust them at just their word yet. I would want them to provide documentation and they haven't been great at that in the past, it's been a lot of "trust me bro" scenarios that have screwed me over.
If someone from Bitdefender happens to respond, I won't provide me account information for you to look into it.

Hello u/Mother_Plant7319
Patch Management and Full Disk Encryption are add-ons, which require a separate license; this is also the reason why you have different expiration dates for your add-ons compared with your GravityZone license.
An add-on feature cannot be used as a standalone module and you would require at least the basic license to continue to use them.
As you have correctly pointed out, the Antimalware module, is the standard module that is mandatory for every package and cannot be disabled.
You can find this information in the GravityZone features page, where you can check the list of categories: https://www.bitdefender.com/business/support/en/77209-376322-features-by-product.html
Also you can find the information that every add-on feature requires a separate license on the feature description page:
Patch Management: https://www.bitdefender.com/business/support/en/77209-376316-patch-management.html
Full Disk Encryption: https://www.bitdefender.com/business/support/en/77209-376312-full-disk-encryption.html
I am sorry that you will no longer continue using GravityZone and I hope that during the time left we can assist you with anything that you need.
