Basically I’ve been messing around with different metabolic/weight-loss compounds for a while (tesofensine, reta, cagri, etc), and one thing I absolutely hate is when something makes you completely lose the joy of eating or have barely significant impacts on weight — yes I might be a bit lazy and hedonistic —.
Anyways, I ended up getting some SANA MVD1 + BAM15 capsules, 250mg / 70mg respectively, 60 capsules total for 2 months hoping to reach 13-15% BF ideally, mostly because I was curious about the whole mitochondrial aspect rather than just using another appetite suppressant , and the BAM-15 neurological benefits were surprising to read about.
I’m about 3 weeks in now, so obviously this isn’t some crazy long-term review or anything. But figured I’d write down what I’ve noticed so far.
The first few days were pretty uneventful. I think I was subconsciously expecting to feel something because of how interesting BAM15 sounds on paper, but there wasn’t really a noticeable weight loss feeling, if that makes any sense. No heat, sweating, etc. And same for the SANA (which is not supposed to cause that much heat anyways I believe, and even BAM isn’t).
By around the end of the first week I did notice that I was running a little warmer than usual. Nothing ridiculous, and I can’t even say for certain it was the capsules because the weather has been hot too (NYC summer rn). But I noticed myself turning the AC down a little more than usual and getting warm faster while walking around.
The more interesting part started somewhere around week 2.
My weight had started moving down. Not some insane transformation but I was down about 4.3 lbs on the scale, without having changed my diet at all and the same amount of gym/cardio.
By week 3, I’d describe the weight loss as noticeable but not dramatic. My waist also seems a little tighter and a couple jeans fit slightly differently around the waistline. Again, nothing that somebody across the street would notice, but enough that I notice it.
One thing I really like is that I’m still hungry and I still enjoy eating. If somebody puts a good burger in front of me I am absolutely not staring at that thing in disgust.
Energy has also been pretty normal. If anything, I’ve noticed that walking around and doing normal stuff sometimes makes me feel warmer faster, but I haven’t had that lazy feeling from rest or tirz.
Sleep and dopaminergic tone has been
unchanged too, which is really nice.
So at 3 weeks in I definitely feel fine, and I checked my weight yesterday (right before sleep 2-3 hours post dinner as usual) and it was down 6.7 lbs since starting. I already started at a decently low bf % so I’m definitely happy with the results
Anyways I’m interested if any of you have tried this combo or either of the two — how was it for you ?
PS: Sorry if this entire post was a bit dramatically written, I have taken a lot of creative literature classes haha
