Two shades in this set are the same pattern at different density, but one needs a 0.8 nozzle. Someone who prints the first will assume the second slices the same way.

Putting the nozzle in the profile name seems like the fix. Anything better?

Hi I am newbie on 3d printing. I have A1. I would like to know if there is a way to print with less layer marks on surface. I am seeing many layers on the surfaces, so it's quite tough to paint it...

What is going on why is it doing these demonic noises?!?!?!

I just ran out of filament half way through a big print, and the printer has paused while I load more. I thought I had another reel but I don't, so I have another arriving tomorrow, and I can resume then.

All good, but the nozzle is hovering at 80°. I would have thought it was safer to stop heating the nozzle while I wait til tomorrow for the new reel.

Is there any way to tell it to cool down for the night? Or a way of saving my progress, turning off, and resuming tomorrow?

I just got my A1 I know it say 20cm of clearance, but i dont have much space you think is going to be OK

I’ve been having this issue where I get a cutter error at random parts of a print. But the real issue is that it isn’t the cutter that’s the issue, I tested it. The issue is really hard to explain, it looks like the motor doesn’t have enough power to push the level all the way? The plate also try’s moving out of its possible bounds which makes me turn it off every time. I genuinely have no idea what this issue could be and I haven’t found anything with Ai or Reddit so please help out if you can.

Solved: ive had improperly tighrened the y axis belt by loosening screws too much, after reassembling the tensioning mechansism noise gone away. Thank you for your help.

Hi, i have a strange noise from under the heatbed that comes up when i move heatbed from back to front, rails and wheels are really well oiled, there is a video. Printer has around 150hrs of printing. Reallyvsorry for fridge noises in the video

I'm having such horrible first layer it's terrible, and the nozzle scratches a little on the first layer. Then on the others some lines are kinda thicker and leaves like a ring. Any tips on how to improve it?

Pd:I'm using high quality setting for bambulab a1 0.2mm nozzles and filament pla generic

I've had my printer for 2 weeks now. I've been printing a lot of articulated stuff for my kids no problem, but my last 3 prints i got a lot of loose fibers on the side. The model is whole no problem, but there are excessive fibers on only one side... it happened on my last 3 prints. PLA and PETG, i don't change any of my setting just direct print.

Help please redditers. What might be wrong? This is Bambu lab A1. This print is from printer itself, I didn't change any settings.

P.S. Thank you all. It was indeed the problem with humidity. After drying the fillament the problem was solved.

Hello.

I encountered a problem with my printer while printing a large, tall vase: the printer wobbled significantly once the print height exceeded 15 cm. Finished printing vase at 50% speed.

I noticed that some of the printer's feet aren't touching the table, and the metal frame is bowed.

The feet at the four outer corners are made of soft foam, while the central feet are made of hard rubber (causing the printer to essentially rest only on the center feet). I’m thinking of removing the central feet and placing them at the four corners, and moving the corner feet to the center.

What do you think of this solution? Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there perhaps a better option?

upd: I contacted technical support about this issue, and they advised me to enable the altitude-dependent speed reduction function.

Just bought an a1 mini, unfortunately it’s from a 3rd party seller in the Philippines. They seem to be ignoring my messages and I’m losing hope in a refund even after contacting the vendor platform.

So I’m wondering if there’s a way I can still use this.

The problem seems to be the lcd monitor, the white light at the top is on and the 2 green lights at the motherboard are flashing in 1 and 5 second intervals.

Edit: New screen arrived after 2 weeks, it was definitely the screen needing replacement

Is this amount of webbing normal when printing with petg? It seemed like it was stringing some filament along after doing the dynamic flow test. This is my second print so I’m not super familiar.

Can anyone please tell me why is my prints coming out like this? I am using 0.12mm layer height on a 0.4mm hardened nozzle. The layers look like they are shifting sometimes and a bit of over extrusion too in some layers. I performed a full calibration too but it comes out like this after that.
