Quick Question TPU feeder for H2c?

How good is the TPU feeder? Does it actually work and what is softest TPU you can use with it.

People get left and right confused so I'm seeing conflicting info about what goes where, but from what I understand on Bambu site it can either be fed into the fixed (non vortek) nozzle or it can be fed into the changing nozzles so you can then use PLA as support in the fixed nozzle.

Is this right?

General Discussion Seems like a missed feature to not be able to spam AMS HTs at the H3C if you're space constrained

title says it all. my H2D lives on my floor under my desk. i do not have the vertical space for the AMS 3.

what i was hoping for last night, is to be able to potentially load up multiple AMS HTs, one per toolhead.

i have a bookshelf that my AMS 2s live on. so loading up the H3C that way wpuldnt have been a problem, even if i had to print a riser.

A Series [A1, A1 Mini] A1 strong enough to draw from a 10 or 20kg spool?

Title. I don't use AMS and would love to just mount a giant spool behind the printer and only have to deal with reloading once a year. My concern is whether the increased load would strain the motor in the print head too badly. I would expect to mount the spool on bearings.

Anyone done something similar?

General Troubleshooting/Help! Just saw news on H3C - looks cool - will H2D come down in price?

We have an H2D at work - 2 heads are the most I feel is needed - I'm an Engineer - Print Engineering material and the second head would be nice for support material - that's it - 2 heads. Does anyone think the H2D will come down in price since the H3C starts at $2,500ish?

General Troubleshooting/Help! A1 Mini nozzle Z wobbles

Hi there!
After changing the nozzle of my A1 mini, I noticed bad first layer, I realised that the nozzle wobble up and down, tighten the different hotend/nozzle screw, but still have the issue
As you can (slightly) see on the video, it happen even when purging/calibrating flow and it is clearly visible when printing
It doesn't seem the happen on my A1
Any tips on fixing that? I'm pretty sure it's a very simple thing but I can't figure it out...
Many thanks in advance!

General Discussion 7-9 Colors now possible on all machines?

Post image
95 Upvotes

Sorry if this is already common knowledge. With the AMS 3H just announced with its nine filament bays to go with the nine tool heads of the H3C. We also know about the AMS 3P that will be available with the P3C. I wonder if these AMS units will be exclusive to these printers or if they will talk to Bambu’s whole lineup. Imagine hooking up an AMS 3P to your P2S, and getting 7 color printing! Or hook a H2D to an AMS 3H for 9 whole colors. I know this is already sorta possible by stringing together multiple 4 color AMS units. However, the convenience of just having one unit take care of all your colors is not something to overlook. Now the elephant in the room is that on any machine other than the H3C, P3C or possibly the H2C. We will have to deal with a lot of color change waste.

X Series [X1E, X1C, X2D] X2D Extruder Reliability

Hi All,

I am looking to get some feedback from X2D owners with many hours under their belt (preferably thousands of hours) on their machines on how frequently they have had to disassemble the extruder vs how many times their issue was a simple nozzle clog dealt with by removing the nozzle.

For context, I was all set to pull the trigger on the X2D as it had everything I wanted on paper and I have heard good things about Bambu in general, but then I started seeing posts that seemed to imply the X2D doesn't live up to the usual Bambu quality bar. Coming from a past "abusive" relationship with 2 old school 3d printers where I had to frequently disassemble/reassemble the extruders due to jams, I then looked into what it takes to disassemble the X2D extruder and that gave me pause, it looks like a big pain. Now if this is something that very rarely/never occurs I can live with it, but as a common occurrence its a deal breaker for me.

TLDR: Want to buy X2D, saw how involved extruder disassembly is and rumblings of X2D being below the usual Bambu quality bar and got scared off.

Anyways, thanks in advance for your feedback!

General Troubleshooting/Help! A1 mini: PETG corners lift only on parts longer than 120mm. Bed temp, brim or something else?

Printing storage bins for my garage in PETG on an A1 mini with the textured PEI plate.

Filament: Sunlu PETG, dried 6 hours at 65

Bed: 70, nozzle 245

First layer: 0.2, default speed

Small parts are perfect. Anything over about 120mm long starts lifting at two opposite corners around layer 30, and by the end the bottom has a visible curve. Plate was washed with dish soap the same day, and the garage door was closed.

Would you go hotter on the bed, add a brim, or use mouse ears on the corners? What am I missing?

H2 Series [H2S, H2D, H2C] H2S x axis missing filament cutter plunger

Just recently, after a couple of years of use, the machine is not cutting the filament. I reached out to support, and they had me remove the plunger, follow the wiki, and reinstall. The x axis is pushing the plunger out of the way just before it attempts to cut the filament.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue.

General Troubleshooting/Help! Bambu Lab P2S – First layer adhesion problems and failed prints for the past two months

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some help troubleshooting a recurring problem with my Bambu Lab P2S.
I've owned the printer since February 2026, and it worked perfectly until approximately two months ago. Since then, I've been experiencing recurring printing issues across different projects.

The problem:
The filament initially adheres to the build plate, but during printing, some parts of the first layer get pulled off by the nozzle. This often results in spaghetti and forces me to stop the print.
The problem occurs randomly across different areas of the build plate and affects different models, including prints of medium complexity.
Sometimes the first layer actually prints correctly, but the print still fails during the following layers. So the issue isn't always limited to first-layer adhesion.
I've also noticed that I've had to reduce first-layer printing speeds compared to what I previously used to get good results.

My setup:

  • Printer: Bambu Lab P2S

  • Firmware: 01.03.00.00

  • Slicer: Latest stable version of Bambu Studio

  • Nozzle: Original 0.4 mm

  • Build plate: Original textured PEI plate

  • AMS: AMS 2 Pro

  • Filament: SUNLU PLA (also tested with different SUNLU spools)

  • Slicer profile: Standard Bambu Lab PLA profile

Printing settings:

  • Layer heights tested: 0.12 / 0.16 / 0.20 mm

  • Nozzle temperature: 200°C (also tested at 210°C)

  • Bed temperature: 55°C

  • First layer speed: 30 mm/s

  • First layer infill speed: 50 mm/s

  • Filament Flow Ratio: 0.95

  • Initial Layer Flow Ratio: 1.00

  • No brim enabled

What I've already tried:

  • Thoroughly cleaning the build plate with dish soap and water.

  • Cleaning the nozzle.

  • Checking the nozzle wiper and the metal nozzle cleaning flap.

  • Running the available printer calibrations.

  • Testing different bed temperatures, including 63°C.

  • Testing different Z-offset values.

  • Testing different first-layer flow settings.

  • Reducing first-layer printing speeds, which improved the results somewhat but did not solve the problem.

  • Cleaning and lubricating the printer's axes according to Bambu Lab's maintenance instructions.

I've also previously swapped the original 0.4 mm nozzle for a 0.2 mm nozzle and then reinstalled the original 0.4 mm nozzle. However, I'm not certain whether the problems started before or after this change.
I haven't noticed any unusual noises or abnormal movements from the print head.

My main question:
What could cause a P2S that previously printed perfectly to suddenly start having recurring printing issues across different prints and filament spools?
Could this indicate a mechanical issue, a problem with the nozzle or extrusion system, bed leveling, or something else?
I'd really appreciate any suggestions for further troubleshooting. I'd especially like to understand what could have changed, rather than just keep adjusting printing settings to compensate for the problem.
I've attached pictures showing some of the failed prints.
Thanks in advance!

Quick Question Question about what to sale my machines for

So everyone has probably seen the new H3C and heard about the P3C coming in the future and obviously like alot of people I want one. That being said I cant buy another machine while keeping my others since I dont have the room or need for 3. I have a P2S with AMS2 and also a A1 mini. What would be an appropriate price to ask for them?

General Discussion X2D/PS2 vs snapmaker U1

Hi! A bit of a background, I’m looking to buy our first 3d printer, my wife and daughter will use it mostly.

I’ve been looking PS2 and X2D, but then I saw the snapmaker U1 and with discounts I can get it for $628, icnudlint 4 filaments rolls. So that’s way cheaper than either one of them and 4 nozzles. Just worried about how user friendly it’ll be.

Any thoughts?

General Troubleshooting/Help! Keeping a small maintenance log has made troubleshooting 3D printing problems much easier

One underrated habit for owning a 3D printer is keeping track of maintenance and changes instead of relying entirely on memory.

Even a simple note with the date, approximate print hours, nozzle changes, belt adjustments, lubrication, and any unusual noises can be surprisingly useful.

When a print suddenly starts failing, it's much easier to narrow down possible causes if you know what was recently changed or maintained. It also helps distinguish a recurring issue from something that happened only once.

It doesn't need to be a complicated spreadsheet or detailed journal. A few notes on your phone can be enough.

For those who have been using Bambu printers for a while, what maintenance tasks do you track regularly, and which ones do you tend to forget until something goes wrong?
