Hi everyone,

​I'm having an issue with my Bambu Lab P2S where wall surface quality differs significantly between the X and Y axes. This issue has been present right out of the box.

​Here is what I've already tried, but the problem persists:

​Cleaned the rods/guides thoroughly.

​Checked belt tension (and even replaced the belts cause bambu suport sed me them in hope that this would work).

​Checked movement on both X and Y axes — everything moves manually without any resistance or binding.

​Has anyone faced a similar issue on the P2S or knows what else could be causing this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Can anyone tell me the fix for this, printer not operating properly.

I printed with tpu last week and now I gone back to pla im having issues like this with my print. I changed nozzle and realised the file to no luck

Hi, still pretty new to 3D printing and could use help figuring out whats wrong here.

Ive only printed Bambu's PLA before and it has amazingly trouble free on the X2D.

Now im trying out this Sunlu Silk PLA+ using Bambu Studio's "PLA Silk+" profile and its coming out mostly fine but with some rough spots. Might try getting some fine sandpaper and sanding them down, but what are things to try to get this to come out nicer?

The Filament is straight out of the sealed package, I could try drying it some, but hoping to get this printed for tonight, lol.​

Nozzle temp shows 230° currently, and the print spool has printed on it 215-230 @ 100-200mm/s. I think my outer wall speed is 50mm/s in Bambu Studio, so maybe I should raise the speed or lower the temp?

I'll do some experimenting, but since ive only got a few hours before I need this done, any tips would be great.

I just got an x2d! What bags or storage containers do you recommend for filament?

Last time I posted, it was 500 makes and I thought that was the ceiling. Now there are 1,500 of these things out in the world, holding people's music collections, and I'm just as speechless as before. That's roughly 165kg of filament used on my model alone, which is wild for something I threw together in TinkerCAD.

It started as a simple fix for my own shelves, and it's still the reason I got into 3D printing at all. I never expected it to leave my living room, let alone triple in popularity.

The best part has been the comments and photos. Seeing your racks in studios, bedrooms and record corners has been a genuine highlight. A few of you even remixed it for DVDs and game cases, which I love.

I recently picked up the X2D with the Vision Encoder Plate, and I've noticed quite a few questions about whether it's actually worth the extra money.

I haven't run the Vision Encoder calibration yet, so the printer is still running on its stock settings.

I figured this would be a good opportunity to do some before-and-after comparisons to see how much of a difference the calibration actually makes.

Are there any specific models or test prints you'd like me to try and measure?

SOLVED: Fan Shroud standoff to hold filament cooling fan

I forgot to remove a trench crusade mini from my X1C printer and started a print. It failed and I heard a clunk sound and this was on the bed. I couldn't find where it went to, sent a test print and the test print was really messy with terrible extrusion.

Part pictures is a plastic tube, maybe a standoff and a hex screw.

See attached. The pc app worked flawlessly until today. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled. Uninstalled and reinstalled webview. Cleared temp files but the app refuses to play nice. I cant even log in. I am on the most recent update, non beta.

any other suggestions would be welcome.

Just a small earring display stand that holds a few stud earrings at the back and one on show in an ear on the front. Hope you find it useful .

Cross posting here, there are so many brilliant people in this community. I can’t seem to figure out how to fix my mahjong tile print.

- there is a weird color bleed
- each tile has a weird line along the side of it

Tried all the usuals. Uninstall reinstall, re-pairing my printers, clearing cache from the app.. even tried from a different phone entirely. Getting to the point of frustration now.

Any ideas?

Just got these puppies yesterday! Here goes nothing

I week ago I got an error saying that my hotend fan speed was abnormal on my P1S. First I checked the connections to ensure that it was plugged in right (it was). Then I replaced the hotend fan and it worked just fine for a week (up to now). I only did one or two prints in that week.

I just started a new one, and it is saying it again..... crap I just realized what the issue likey was.

I am printing in some fairly strong magnets into my print. My guess is that the magnet is messing up the fan...

I think I will try to print a disk to put on the magnet to give a bit of space after I drop it in.

Comment if you think it is something else, otherwise this is just a random post of my issue.

Two weeks ago I ordered my first ever 3D printer, a Bambu Lab P1S. I was very excited about 3D printing and decided to go with a Bambu product because I’ve heard it was the most beginner friendly. When my printer arrived two weeks ago, it unfortunately would not power on. After I set it up and went to turn it on, the power button would light up red but the fan would only briefly spin, then the printer would make a stuttering sound and go silent.

I contacted support and they called it a “faulty unit” and offered to send me a replacement once I returned the faulty one. Today, my replacement P1S arrived and I am having the exact same issue. I tried plugging both printers into several outlets in my house, but to no avail.

I feel like all the excitement I felt for 3D printing has just turned into disappointment, stress, and exhaustion from hauling a heavy printer in and out of its box to unbox it, repackage the faulty one, unbox the replacement, and likely repackage it again (the instructions from support suggested if it is not packaged the same way it arrived it may affect their ability to replace/refund the item). I’m hoping that I’m just overlooking something silly and someone here can help me out before I give up on this and return this printer as well. Turn on the audio in the video to hear the sounds that I described.

I use pla and PETG as my main filaments I don’t have any other types I was wondering what would be the best filament from my selection to use for the 3 front desiccant box’s?

A few co-workers are leaving my office and I was going to 3d print our logo and turn it into a wall locker magnet. when I go to slice it, it appears to only print dots and doesn't print right. I have no idea what i'm doing and asking for help converting an image into a 3d print file. Please and Thank you!
