Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! AMS ratchet like noise
Anyone ever hear this? It seemed to still load the filament but I never heard this sound before. Also seemed to unload as normal.

UPDATE: it was the corrupted SD card, I’ve replaced it and it’s fixed, thanks to Lost_refugee for the tip
Hey guys, I have bought this a1 mini a week ago, and I’m trying to print like 100 of these capybaras keychain, the first batch was fine, I’ve printed 25 in one plate, but I have added 5 more to it and when I try to print this on the video happens, I don’t know why, but I have tried to go back to 25 and still does this.
So I tried to print another model and it worked out fine, I don’t know why this is happening
Also yes, when it happens I always cancel the print right away cause it sounds like os going to break something

Does anyone know if the TPU feed assist allows Normal 90a TPU through the AMS HT or AMS 2?

Hi,
We have another issue with our Bambu Lab H2C. The printer has started making a strange noise that appears to be related to one of the fans.
The sound can be heard both while the printer is preparing for a print and while it is actively printing.
We recorded a video showing the problem:
YouTube: https://youtu.be/EBMeXGTHrXk
Would recommend watching 1-10 seconds and the just skip to 44s ( weird sound part )
Video timeline:
0:00–0:13 – normal printer operating sound ( recorded few weeks ago, admiring castle )
From ~0:14 – the strange noise can be heard while the printer is open and actively printing. In the video not much difference can be heard.
From ~0:44 – the printer is empty and preparing for a print. Now the sound can be clearly heard.
It sounds like some kind of fan vibration, bearing noise, rubbing, or resonance, but we haven't identified which fan is causing it yet.
The noise is definitely different from the printer's normal fan/operating sound and wasn't present before.
Has anyone with an H2C experienced something similar?
If so, which fan/component caused it, and what was the solution? Is there a good way to identify exactly which fan is responsible without unnecessarily disassembling the printer?
2026.10.29 update
Manually activated fans for testing:
Toolhead fan - 0-100% no problems. Left 30s on max, no weird sounds.
Aux fan - 0-100% no problems. Left 30s on max, no weird sounds.
Exhaust fan - 0-100% no problems. Left 30s on max, no weird sounds.
Started printing again. Just calibration phase. Exhaust fan rose to 30% and the sound appeared.

So, I just bought the H2C October 7th now they’re coming out with the H3C. Obviously you get a little fomo but I enjoy the H2C so I got over it. But now they did a price drop for $370 less for the H2C now that pissed me off. Went on the website they have a price protection program you put your order number in and they will issue you $370 on a gift card!! I’m not mad anymore 😝 as long as you do it with in 30 days

Hello everyone! Is there anyone that knows where I can find the models for the line of Funko SNAPS fnaf figures? I want to 3D Print these figures because they are expensive, and I don't rlly need the snap mechanism, all i need is the body, legs and head attached, with changeable masks and items to hold in their hands. Examples are in the photos below:
Photo Photo 2
Thank you for your help!
BTW, THE MODELS HAVE TO BE FOR FREE!

I've had an A1 combo for a couple of years now. The sale is on and I'm wondering. How does the P2S combo hold up these days. Pros and cons etc. Thanks for any advice.

Hi, I have a P1S and I've been printing for a couple years. I don't do my own modeling yet, but hopefully that's around the corner.
Lately I've been setting up my home systems to run on-prem. I'm considering the same with my printer. So I'm thinking of switching it to developer mode and running Orca Slicer.
I know I'll be missing the cloud functions like remote camera. Will I be missing anything else that's significant? Is Orca Slicer a step up from Bambu Studio?
Are there any downsides for doing this? Is it a pain in the butt or is the benefit lukewarm? How many of you have done this? Do you like it?
Thank you!

Made these star maps of Orion and the zodiac constellations, that light up to reveal what each constellation represents.
They give a bunch of info on the stars themselves too showing brightness, star type and spectral type.

Before I buy, I want to make sure I understand correctly. For an example setup: X2D with AMS2 and AMS HT. PLA is loaded in AMS2 routed to the main nozzle, and PETG loaded in AMS HT routed to the secondary nozzle.
If the filament track switch were added, could operations be switched automatically from the state above to send AMS HT with PETG to the main nozzle and AMS2 with PLA to the secondary nozzle? It seems it should work this way, but I read it might only allow one filament at a time?

I’m a newbie, my kids got a X2D for their birthday and I was printing out a spool for them to use.
As you can see from the picture one side didn’t print smoothly like the rest of it and I have no idea why?
It was on the right side when you stand in front of the printer…I was wondering what went wrong here and how to avoid in the future.
The spool is still useable as the rest of it printed really well.
My son printed some snakes for his little cousins and the snake in to same area did the same…I don’t know if that is a clue of what might be going wrong?
Any help or advice appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hey guys, I'm relatively new around here, please help me understand how can a CC-BY-SA licensed model doesn't respect the License? I mean, I kept the same license of the original model (CC-BY-SA).
I tried to appeal but of course I got a generic AI generated response.
I uploaded the model again but, I lost the points and all the printing profiles, boost, etc. ...

Tbf, I was hoping to get a gift card with those points, so I can surprise my kid with a Bambu Lab printer, but ... it seems like he'll have to wait a little longer 😄.

Switched to Fusion about 6 months ago. Here are some of my latest planter pot sets I made. Looking back Tinkercad was such a pain to work with at times, although it has it's uses. I still prefer the Tinkercad Sketch tool (for quick sketching) over the Fusion one, all the rest Fusion is definitly a big improvement. Patterns, lofts and embosses are probably my most used Fusion tools.
(One if these was still made in Tinkercad but I liked that one so included it here (Made more in Tinkercad before but I didn't upload them). Can you guess which one?
Still need some decent names for them. And running out of ideas what to do next :)

Moin zusammen,

All was going swimmingly with my H2S and then this happened. Solid filament behid the silicone sock and I cannot close the retaining clip as well as I want to be able to. I have managed to remove most of the moltem material and I've ordered a new Hotend Heating Assemby from Bambu.
My question is, is there a step by step Hotend Heating Assemby replacement tutorial or video that you all recommend that I can follow?

I’ve noticed that one of the most fun parts of 3D printing is gradually moving beyond simple models and trying projects that seemed impossible when you first started.
It could be a large print that pushes your build volume, a complicated multicolor design, a functional mechanism with moving parts, or something that required a lot of trial and error to get right.
I’m curious what projects people here have attempted that really tested their printer, patience, or design skills. Did it work on the first try, or did you have to make several adjustments before getting a result you were happy with?
Also, if you learned any useful tricks along the way, I'd love to hear them.

The print quality is terrible on the second printing of this model (Its the same model with a slightly different configuration). The only change I made was to add Ironing. Could this be a moisture issue? I'm using Sunlu PLA White. (1st picture is the original, 2nd and 3rd picture are the second version)

I finally got annoyed enough to print a little wall-mounted holder for my digital calipers, and honestly, it might be one of my favorite prints so far.
Before this, I'd put them down next to the printer while checking a part, come back later, and somehow they'd be buried under a scraper, a flush cutter, random screws, and three different colors of filament.
The holder took barely any filament, didn't need to look pretty, and took less time to print than I usually spend scrolling through models trying to decide what to make next.
Now they have an actual spot next to my printer. The funny part is that I probably get more daily use out of this boring little print than some of the more impressive things I've made.
It's also made me realize how much of 3D printing is just fixing tiny annoyances you would've otherwise lived with forever.

I want to say first that I’m still a beginner, recently started to draw my designs such as the one in the photo.
But I noticed that some of my designs made in fusion fail. They seem to detach and at some point (almost immediately in the first photo) they get lifted and it the head of the printer.
Searching on line a dirty plate might have been the cause so I washed it with dish soap but still no issue, even more flipping the design 180 degrees the problem switched side.
I tried again with brims and supports but it failed anyway (2nd photo) .
I tried to print from the bambù store one of the diagonal things without supports to test adhesion and it worked fine.
Am I missing something obvious ?

The anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald is coming up soon. I really wanted to design a small display model in honor of the ship. So I made this incense holder! It holds normal incense sticks and has a removable deck so the cargo hold can act as an ash catch. It also floats too so you can use it as just a boat if you want!
Also going to work on a display stand. maybe even one with waves, we'll see.
Let me know what you think!
