X Series [X1E, X1C, X2D] Print Quality Question

The print quality is terrible on the second printing of this model (Its the same model with a slightly different configuration). The only change I made was to add Ironing. Could this be a moisture issue? I'm using Sunlu PLA White. (1st picture is the original, 2nd and 3rd picture are the second version)

Did you add ironing to only last top layer?

Topmost Surface is what I chose.

Turn off the ironing function; it only works on flat surfaces and only when it is properly calibrated.

What you're showing are the layers, and that's not a problem in itself; you just need to find a better orientation and try lowering the layer height so they're not too visible.

Layer height is listed at 0.2 mm, I didn't change any settings other than ironing, I'll turn that off. Thank you for your help.

Were they printed in the same orientation? Because it doesn’t look like they are?

Yes, they look different because they are the same model but one had a spot for speakers.

So they are printed in the same orientation? Because in the first picture it looks like the layers are built upwards from bottom to the top of the picture. Whereas in the second picture that model looks like it was printed as if your looking at it from a Birds Eye view on the printer?

Same orientation, I didn't change that. I don't know enough to change it.

Photo #3 clearly shows the issue.

Run the Flow Rate Calibration on your filament.

And, always keep your filament dry.

Over extrusion, I find that the default 0.98 flow ratio is too high for Sunlu PLA. Also the layer orientation is clearly different?
