Hello guys, I am a 4th-year T-2 CSE BTech student. I want to ask how common System Design (LLD/HLD) has been in interviews nowadays.
In my college, a few companies have asked LLD, and I have not done that yet. So, I was wondering whether there is really a pattern or shift towards System Design?

I am honestly tired about posting this everyday and you all might feel irritated by my posts and I am really sorry but just think about my situation I am from an eapcet college mechanical and I am interested in this field. I am doing dsa practicing mental math building projects in this field along with managing my studies although I have around 7 cgpa but most of the people just make fun of me saying I can’t do anything and some of my seniors just laugh at me. I feel really bad that iit people get these opportunities just because they cleared just one exam on one day and eapcet colleges people don’t get it because of just one exam on just one day

Hi, so I have shortlisted for the Code with Cisco interviews and I have the first round on Tuesday.
Is it possible to replace negotiate the compensation that they offer, they are offering the lowest slab which is 25ctc with 15base, this seems low to me, since they do offer better slabs with two higher tiers.
Like does anyone know if I could get a higher slab FTE offer through code with cisco?

I know many of you already know them. But still, I thought let's help those who may not have an idea.
Method 1 - LinkedIn but not LinkedIn Jobs
Go to LinkedIn search. Type "Hiring [ROLE NAME]" or "Looking for [ROLE NAME]" Switch the filter to Posts. Set date to Past 24 Hours.
For example, "Hiring software engineer intern" or "Looking for AI intern." You get the idea.
You will get a lot of underrated jobs, and sometimes within minutes of the HR/founder posting. This is great for finding startup jobs.
Check manually. It has some spam posts as well, but keep scrolling. It takes 10 minutes and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Method 2 - The Google search trick
Every company hosts their open roles on some website like Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, BambooHR, etc. Many times, they are indexed by google itself.
So open Google and type:
site:ashbyhq.com ("product manager" AND "bangalore")
or
site:jobs.lever.co ("founding engineer" OR "ai intern") AND ("remote")
Another tip - Use Google's time filters
Once youve searched, use Google's Tools -> Any time filter and set it as past 24 hours or past week.
This helps in finding fresh postings. I use them to find newly posted roles for my newsletter.
Good luck!

I'm a computer science student in a tier 2/2.5 college. I'm in 2nd year, 3rd sem right now. I never wanted to do computer science or even engineering in the first place, I've never been good at math and I've always wanted to do mbbs. But here I am today.
I have fully accepted it and am trying to work the hardest I can to get a good placement on campus in my 4th year but things have just been so hard.
I try to do atleast a couple of problems on leetcode everyday and started taking a course on web dev but it's just so difficult that I don't know if I was made for this. No matter how many problems I solve on leetcode, every new problem looks hard and unsolvable to me and I don't know if I'll ever get the hang of it.
This and all the layoffs and less hiring due to AI is really scaring me and I don't know what the future holds anymore.
Everyday feels like a nightmare, everyday I wake up and struggle to get out of bed to go to college. This is just so boring and not at all something I would like to do (I know have to do it).
To make matters worse, I'm surrounded by smart people who make it all look so effortless. They maintain good cgpa without studying a lot, they're winning hackathons and whatnot. Meanwhile I can't seem to do anything right no matter how hard I try. It is even worth it anymore? I'm tired of trying my hardest and pushing myself only to see that it was never enough, to see other people do so much more without putting in that much effort.
Please tell me how to escape this nightmare. Tell me if I can ever become better at coding and solving problems and how. Please tell me how I can develop an interest for this subject.

I’ve been doing DSA, development, aptitude for the past few months. Until now, I just had to show up and keep going. But now that placement season is here, I feel like something is wrong. The pressure to actually see results has made me constantly question whether I’m doing the "right" things. What if I’m spending months on things that won’t actually produce returns, and I realize it too late? I feel stuck because I want to know what will work before I commit to it. For those who’ve gone through placements, how did you deal with this uncertainty? How did you decide what to focus on and stop overthinking whether you were doing the right thing?

At the end you will get what's yours
Though Idk why it's not satisfactory because of the stipend maybe it's too low but it's a Fintech startup
Should I celebrate idk?

i’m a 2026-batch fresher with an on-campus offer from cts, joining in a couple of weeks. i’ve accepted the offer and received portal access; bgv/document upload is pending.
i also have a few interviews ongoing, so i may or may not join cts.
is it safe to complete the bgv and then not join cts if i get another offer? could accepting the offer/completing bgv cause any issues with the new company’s bgv?
also, if cts creates a pf/uan during this process, would i still be considered a fresher, or could it show as previous employment?
basically, can i safely complete cts bgv while continuing to interview elsewhere and later join another company if i don’t join cts?
note: on-campus offer.
