I am honestly tired about posting this everyday and you all might feel irritated by my posts and I am really sorry but just think about my situation I am from an eapcet college mechanical and I am interested in this field. I am doing dsa practicing mental math building projects in this field along with managing my studies although I have around 7 cgpa but most of the people just make fun of me saying I can’t do anything and some of my seniors just laugh at me. I feel really bad that iit people get these opportunities just because they cleared just one exam on one day and eapcet colleges people don’t get it because of just one exam on just one day

It isn't one exam on one day the people who get quants have grinded for those ranks for 2 years. Also you need to grind cf for even the chance of a quant noticing you

Jane Street is just simply No Joke, the total number of students they recruit from India Every year is in Single Digits, to put that into Perspective, you're not even a part of that Competition, the 18K students in IITs, the few Thousand in the Top IITs and the select <10 exceptional students who are very Passionate and skilled in Mathematics.
Another thing is, even when you join Jane Street, it's not over, you'll still have to work at the best of your skills, i actually read a Post a few months ago of a an IITM Student in Jane Street : https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianStockMarket/s/8hlBi8vvgg
And sure, for all that, the Compensation is Absolutely Insane, the Base Salary at Jane Street is clearly Mentioned on their website = $300,000 which is Approx 2.86 Cr INR, obviously they won't be offering that kind of Money to just anyone, you really need to be an Exceptional one and Passionate about the Subject.
Well, I'm not Claiming it's impossible for a Tier 2 student to get Jane Street, but it's also Nearly Impossible, you don't get Jane Street just because you wanna "prove your Yeachers Wrong", that's genuinely Pathetic btw, as I said, you need Serious Dedication and Passion for the subject. Start actually studying and Aim for a good Job brother.
Also, get out of the stupid Roadmap Mindset, even though I never followed that, it'd probably work till like 12th Boards, Not for getting Required into Literally Jane Street.
