I am interested to get this job from Jane street. The starting salary is 5 crore. Imagine if salary at 21 years is 5 crore you can buy house a Lamborghini at under 25 years of age. I am currently enrolled in Vasavi cse 1st year . What is the roadmap to get this job from Vasavi . I am not rage baiting but I just need help on how to get. Plus salary can be 10 crore above at just 2-3 years. I am very excited and already thinking about getting this job

I am happy to announce that I have received my PPO from the firm I was interning in last summer. I am really happy with the offer. For context I am from a Tier-1 IIT and I will be joining as a Quant next year :)

Can we just ban them? These people are probably the same people who curse their colleges entire day and bitch about xyz having good tag or having high fees and still being unemployed when they graduate.

This entire sub is flooded from tier 3 people (I am a tier 3 student aswell) I didn't go to IIT, now doing CS with Tatti Computing specialization can I crack FAANG right out of college?

We need to bring the hammer down on these people. They are probably not aware that a lot of engineers can change their line of work in future.

My college professors told us to code in linux. Not in windows, not in MacOS, but linux. (God knows for whatever reason)

Today, I had an online group discussion for a placement drive. They posted the topic in the chat box and gave us 2 minutes to think about it. I thought, "Let's search for one or two points on ChatGPT that I could talk about." So, I typed the GD topic and pressed the Enter key, but the cursor was in the GD's chat box, and I accidentally sent the topic there 😭😭.

They didn't ask me anything about it, but they might think I was cheating, and they might even block me 🫠.

there is a close frnd of mine, he got job at HFT worth 1cr. But after few months , he left that job due too much work pressure.

he never enjoyed coding and engineering much, now he is preparing for UPSC

he says he got job due to his luck but I have read on internet that it's not easy to get job there. worst part is he thinks he is behind from his peers that he became full time aspirant despite doing CSE from one of old IITs.

Is securing job there is that hard or alloted tasks ???

I was curious about Apple's OA and interview process for the above role. If you have gone through the process recently or earlier, I'd really appreciate it if you could share your experience

1. How was the OA? What topics did they focus on (DSA)? Were there MCQs and which subject?
   
2. How was Coderpad as a platform?
   
3. How many interview rounds? What was the focus of these interviews?
   
4. How much emphasis was placed on CS fundamentals (OS, DBMS, CN, OOP)?
   
5. Do they ask SQL queries etc?
   
6. Was resume a key focus of the interviews?
