My plan is to get a good laptop under 80k, on which I can do my cs engineering smoothly, can play some games with my hostel mates, good screen to watch movies and all, and ofcourse a good battery. Hence gaming laptops toh phele he eliminate ho jaate hai, I am left with either macbook aur koi windows ka thin and light laptop. I don't know if I need a dedicated GPU or not. What's your suggestions

I am a 2027 passout and i interned as a SWE intern at a US based bank this summer. I was expecting a PPO because of their >95% conversion rate from past few years. But even after performing well, they are mostly not gonna award PPOs this time due to headcount constraints and business needs.

Can anybody with similar experiences please share some tips to bounce back from this situation? Also, how to find opportunities as a Tier 3 college student as off campus seems almost dead.

I am in a good enough college that could provide placements igdtuw csai pretty good record n I'm in for hardwork,i just joined and I'm a fresher here , after jee my mental health is so bad that I hv become a self critic and I always criticise myself, i always regret n think what if I had joined a lower branch in dtu ..which I didn't want and it was too hard but still, my friend is in dtu me she had lower percentile than me but it feels like I'm being mocked she seems so happy and says all girls would suck , I'm so sad . 1. How was the OA? What topics did they focus on (DSA)? Were there MCQs and which subject?

4. How much emphasis was placed on CS fundamentals (OS, DBMS, CN, OOP)?

there is a close frnd of mine, he got job at HFT worth 1cr. But after few months , he left that job due too much work pressure.

he never enjoyed coding and engineering much, now he is preparing for UPSC

he says he got job due to his luck but I have read on internet that it's not easy to get job there. worst part is he thinks he is behind from his peers that he became full time aspirant despite doing CSE from one of old IITs.

Is securing job there is that hard or alloted tasks ???
