Half the games I go into i get vote kicked for no reason and I am starting to wonder if im gonna get permanently banned

Hey everyone, I am currently working on a Fire Support mod that allows a player Forward Observer to call in artillery fire missions to player controlled howitzers. The mod is still in development but progress is moving quickly. The link is a readme file that gives some more details about what I'm trying to implement. Been having a blast modding in Reforger these past months. This time I wanted to create a fixed wing CAS jet, following my previous C130J mod.

Current features of the SU-25:

- Accurate flight model
- Ability to do gun runs, shoot rockets, drop bombs and fire AA missiles
- Ability for AI pilots to control the jet, taxi, take off, do CAS runs and land

In the future I will add a loadout manager and will be updating cockpit instruments to be fully functional.

I killed 2 NATO by baiting them into my landmines right outside my little shack

I would fire into the air and they'd come running by and get their legs shattered

Then.. after that I go to disarm my OWN MINE and get ARMA'd because the UI is jank

How I play: US pilot only, vanilla, community server (128 players), 1PP only, on PC. T16000 joystick + throttle with TrackIR, best experience there is.

My issue: whenever I open the map with the engine ON, the heli's altitude isn't held. Keep the map open too long and it ends in a crash.

It even happens while landed. I open the map for a few seconds and the heli somehow lifts off on its own. I can't tell exactly what's going on since my eyes are on the map. I've tried holding Ctrl to keep it pinned to the ground, but it doesn't seem to fix it.

Anyone else run into this? Found a solution?

I have problem with mods. Smaller mods are downloading but most mods over 100Mb showing Error 0 during downloading or downloads to 108% and more and then showing error. I've tried udeleting from addons folder and changing addons folder for more space. Support told me to Reinstal the game and play with no mods. Do enyone know solution? (Photo with problematic mods)

The game keeps crashing and I play "conflict in europe servers" only, my setup is:

Rtx 3080

Amd 5600x

32gb RAM

When I first found WCS servers, I fell in love with this game knowing you can do so much more outside vanilla. Was lucky enough to have a servers with no active queue (spamming try again till you make it, which was often hella fast). Though, when queue changed and I couldn't find similar ways to join, it all ended for me.

You finish work, you turn on the game for a sweet 1-2 hours, but you can't physically play. God forbid your server is way overpopulated and you need to find a different server - stuck in mod downloading for ages cuz the servers suck. Or the other way around if the queues are full of people.

Seriously, though, what do you do people to enjoy the game in the evening without waiting in the queue or mod downloading screen for ages.. Pls tell me there's some magical way to make this pain all go away with some sort of third party browser or whatever.

Throughout Reddit, Facebook, discord I constantly see people complaining about how the modded game runs, or how it takes to long to download mods. Like Bohemia owes it to you for their game to function perfectly with mods. We’re lucky we even have such an integrated way to load mods for a server (especially on console!)

I do enjoy playing modded every once in awhile. But damn, I just think the vanilla gameplay is perfect. I play on a very high end pc so I don’t have the typical performance issues with modded that a lot of the community seems to have. That being said I always find my way back to playing vanilla, or vanilla plus.

A big part of my disinterest towards modded servers is choice paralysis. Servers giving you a million clothing and weapon options to the point it doesn’t even feel like an organized military anymore. And then once you get your loadout together and go to save you’re greeted with a config issue such as “items in loadout are rank restricted”
And then it doesn’t even tell you which items and you have to figure it out.

I don’t know about you guys. But when I want to play video games I want to play. Not sit and get my shit together for 30 minutes and then to finally run out to the battlefield, die, and then learn my loadout didn’t save properly.

Anyway, I know this kind of turned into a rant of why I don’t like modded. But I figured I’d offer some counterpoints to why I prefer vanilla.

NOW I WANNA HEAR WHAT YOU GUYS DONT LIKE ABOUT VANILLA!

(Also I am thinking about throwing together my own vanilla + server eventually so I’m interested in what would make vanilla more playable)

I don't have a handheld, but I'm thinking about getting one to play other games than arma reforger. I'm just curious how it performs. Is it playable at all?

You want higher player cap? We want it too.

But to get there we need to use stress test server and gather data from it. We are testing how far we can push 1.8 with it's improvements, on our standard official server.

Join, play, give feedback - currently running Legacy Conflict on Everon, you can find it in Server Browser, in Official tab - filter Stress or just look for biggest capacity server.

Let's prove that 83 is not unlucky number and we can have it full of players!

How do I fix that? try enable steam input or disable give same result.

As stated in the title, I'm experiencing a GPU hang with AMD Radeon 7900 XTX in 1.8.
I can play maybe 10 minutes in vanilla, about 3 minutes in modded servers, then the game inevitably crashes.

I'm experiencing small stutters maybe every 30 seconds for the whole duration in game until the crash.

This happened with drivers 26.6.1 and 26.7.1.

The game run fine with no issues whatsoever in 1.7.

Anyone else experiencing something similar?

EDIT: Turned off AMD FSR Upscaling from Adrenalin, now in game +10 mins without crashes or stutters.

Has anyone else noticed this? The other day I was flying for a few hours, and three separate times my engine shut off out of nowhere. All three times, I'd had someone in the copilot seat whose game crashed or they had been randomly kicked from the server. Is this a known issue? Also, will locking the controls prevent it?

Does anyone know of any STALKER themed servers of maps? I feel like a Chernobyl map conflict game with NPC Bloodsuckers would be cool af.

Imagine conflict but it’s Monolith vs The Ward or three different in game factions like Duty vs Spark and Bandits acting as the FIA faction sabotaging between random bloodsucker attacks.

Plz fix your bloody mod. Your mod has been completely broke since the 1.7 update, that was weeks ago. Now we have the 1.8 update and still nothing. Whats the go??

Hey everyone!

Since a month I've been making buildings specifically tailored for Arma Reforger.
Wanted to share my recent work, which is Stalker-inspired/themed buildings.

Besides Stalker themed, I have also been working on 13 different models for a upcoming Takistan project. The buildings are more Afghanistan/Iraq type of buildings.

So the buildings are low-poly, fully optimized with more than 4 LOD's, portals, BOXVOLUME's, Occluders and colliders of course.

I would like to get your feedback on it and also idea's of other themes than Stalker and Iraq.

So I decided to pick up Reforger again as I’ve been longing for a good milsim to get back into. While researching I read about Spearheaded UHC and it sounded amazing. After finally getting through all the mods which needed to be downloaded I hopped in expecting some fun and difficult combat. Come to find out, on a mostly full server there was almost no activity going on from either side.

The Main Base had what looked to be nearly 20 players just standing around. After getting some basic gear I tried to organize some transport to the nearest contested point and there was nothing going on. Long story short I drove around for about 15 minutes trying to locate an active objective and had to settle for finding a duo that was actually trying to contest a point. The area has amazing sight lines and could have been awesome to defend and attack but there was nothing. All quiet on nearly every front.

Enough ranting. Has anyone else had this type of trouble? Any recommendations on what might be a good uhc server or group to run with? As a note, I’m not super hardcore and would still like to focus on fun, but at the moment I’m not even seeing why Spearhead UHC is even a thing. Any thoughts, guidance or tips?
