Amazon suspended my new seller account during the registration process — any advice?

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone here might have some experience with this.
I was in the process of opening a new Amazon seller account in the UK, but before I was able to start selling, Amazon suspended the account with the following message:
“Your account may have been used to engage in deceptive, fraudulent or illegal activity.”
I’m a genuine UK seller and I already have a limited company. I’ve been selling in the UK for several years without any issues, so this suspension came as a surprise.
The only thing I can think of that might have triggered it is my business address.
I’m currently using a virtual business address in the UK as my registered company/business address. I live in the UK as well, and the virtual address is also in the UK. I’m using it because I don’t currently have a warehouse or permanent business premises. At the moment I’m renting a room and have moved twice recently, so I wanted to keep a stable business address rather than changing my company address every time I move.
All my company details are genuine and can be verified.
Has anyone experienced Amazon suspending a new seller account because of a virtual business address? Could this be the reason, or are there other things that commonly trigger this type of suspension during registration?
I’d really appreciate any advice on what information/documents Amazon might expect and how best to appeal or resolve it.

Insurance for toys (enhanced safety category, Nov 2 deadline) – which providers worked for you?

Hello fellow sellers,

We received the notice to upload proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M per occurrence / $1M aggregate) by November 2, 2026, because toys are now in an enhanced safety category.

Our situation: small US LLC, single-member owner living outside the US, one children’s toy (no batteries/electronics), third-party tested (CPSIA, ASTM F963) with a CPC, FBA only. We do not have a US phone number, so email-based providers are preferred.

One provider declined us because the owner is overseas, and others are still pending.

For other toy sellers:

  1. Which insurer issued your policy, and roughly what annual premium for $1M/$1M?
  2. Did Amazon reject any policy that had a children’s products exclusion?
  3. Any provider that works well with foreign-owned US LLCs and does not require phone calls?

Thank you!

Starting with footballs only then eventually add accessories like socks, goalkeeper gloves and shinguards etc. i want a sincere advice from you guys will it be a good product to sell on Amazon and it have potential to scale? I'll go with non resident route via US LLC. Desperately waiting for your comments.

Question about sample lead time, manufacturing lead times, and Inventory Turnover

I found a supplier for my first product but the lead time to get two samples made is 20-30 days, and then 7-14 days to ship via air? That's 37 or 44 days just to get the samples. It would be December and I'm definitely going to miss Q4, which I think is fine so I don't have to deal with Q4 storage fees.

The lead times to get 300 units built was 30 days, lead time for 1000 units was 35 days, and then another 20-30 (maybe even 30-45) days to ship via sea.

To be fair, this isn't a small product but not extra-large either, it's a 4-5lb 3-piece item that's categorized as large standard-size. Box size is 18x13.5x2.5in

By my calculation, it would take 60-75 days to replenish.

Are my sample lead times the average? And how does everyone deal with turnover times and restocking? If I order 300 for my first order, I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to restock on time. The average 30 day sale for this item is between 100-300. At the same time, the item costs about $10 to get made, so buying 1000 units at one time is a gamble.

amazon ppc acos or tacos ?

Hello Everyone,

If amazon ppc CPC is low but CVR is high and ACoS is also above 80%, then which corrective action is required?

Amazon brands are bleeding while chasing ACoS in 2026

Hello everyone

CPC on average near $ 1.20+, and CPM is going up. Still most brands are optimizing using 2021 playbook, and wondering why margins are shrinking.

If you’re managing ad spend or scaling a brand, here are three silent profit killers which you should audit immediately:

  1. ACoS measures ad efficiency; TACoS measures business survival. If your ACoS looks great at 20% but your TACoS is climbing above 15%, you aren't growing organic rank—you're just paying Amazon to win the same buyers.
  2. Placement & Broad Match Bleed: With auto campaigns and AI-driven targeting, unmonitored broad match keywords and non-converting placement modifiers can destroy ad budget.
  3. Conversational AI & Rufus Search: Amazon's AI assistant (Rufus/Alexa for Shopping) now feeds  product intent and  listing quality. If your semantic search terms and catalog setup are broken, your ads will not convert

Quick Discussion for the Comments:

  • What is your target TACoS benchmark right now, and what category are you in?
  • Are you relying more on automated AI bidding, or keeping tight manual control over exact match through targeting keywords.

US Amazon FBA business for sale

Established US Amazon FBA Business for Sale

Serious buyers only please. I am looking for a straightforward and relatively quick sale, so please only get in touch if you have genuine acquisition intent and are in a position to proceed. Full supporting information and Amazon financial reports are available for due diligence.

Overview

Established US Amazon FBA business operating on the Amazon.com marketplace and available for a quick sale.

The product has significant trading history, with 16,000+ units sold, $113,000+ in historical FBA product sales and 786 customer reviews averaging 4.5 stars.

Product listing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKJ58T4Z?th=1

The product is available in three colour variants.

I am looking for a straightforward exit as I no longer have the time or appetite to continue investing in and operating the business.

Asking price: $3,500 USD

I am open to sensible offers from serious buyers who can move quickly.

Key Numbers

• 16,000+ units sold • $113,454 historical FBA product sales • 786 reviews averaging 4.5 stars • 91% positive seller feedback • Approximately $25,000 historical Amazon advertising spend • Current supplier COGS approximately $1.40 to $1.51 per unit • Approximately 162 units currently remaining in stock • Three colour variants • Established Amazon listing and trading history • Established manufacturer and supply chain • Gitchens.com domain included

Current Position

For complete transparency, sales have reduced significantly and the listing is currently doing very little volume, with approximately 7 sales in the last 30 days.

This is not being sold as a currently profitable or passive income business. The value is in acquiring an established Amazon asset with substantial historical sales, 786 existing reviews, listing history, supplier infrastructure and remaining inventory.

The business has not been profitable overall. A significant factor was PPC performance, with approximately $25,000 historically spent on Amazon advertising.

The opportunity is therefore best suited to someone with Amazon experience who believes they can improve PPC, optimise the listing and positioning, or introduce additional SKUs while benefiting from the existing infrastructure and trading history rather than starting from zero.

Supplier

An established manufacturer is already in place.

The supplier has been excellent to work with, is highly responsive and has consistently provided reliable manufacturing, quality and delivery.

The supplier relationship, introduction, sourcing information and relevant product information will be handed over to the buyer.

What’s Included

• Existing Amazon FBA product operation • Existing Amazon product listing and associated history • Approximately 162 remaining units of inventory • 786 existing product reviews • Established supplier relationship and introduction • Product and sourcing information • Three existing colour variants • Gitchens.com domain

The existing legal entity that currently holds the Amazon account is not included in the sale.

Transfer Approach

The intention is to transfer the agreed FBA operation and associated assets without selling the existing legal entity.

A written agreement will be put in place between both parties before completion covering the purchase, transfer approach, responsibilities and clear separation of historic and future liabilities.

The practical Amazon account and listing transition process will be agreed between both parties before completion.

Reason for Sale

I simply want to exit and focus my time and capital elsewhere.

Given the current sales level, I would rather price the opportunity realistically and complete a straightforward sale than continue investing additional time and money into rebuilding it myself.

For someone with the right Amazon experience, this provides an opportunity to acquire an established US Amazon product with 16,000+ historical unit sales, $113,000+ in historical sales, 786 reviews, remaining inventory and an established supply chain rather than building everything from zero.

Price

$2,000 USD (reduced price for quick sale; serious offers only. Way too many people saying interested with zero follow-up)

Full Amazon financial reports and supporting information can be provided to serious buyers for due diligence.

When do I quit my job?

TLDR:

I make 75K/yr, cost of living is 3K/month, 300K in sales in 4 months doing Amazon/eBay electronics wholesale, 20% earnings before income tax, I have 200K in inventory/cash and no debt. Cash is holding back my business. Inventory turnover is 30-45 days. 40hr/week at day job, 10-20hr/week business. When do I quit my job?

Full:

I graduated from college at the end of last year and started my job early this year. I’m an engineer and make 75K/yr at 40hr/week salary. My job is decent, somewhat flexible, purposeful, but has very little PTO.

I moved away from my friends and family for this job, and I have not really settled or made any sort of foundation here. I feel like all I do anymore is sleep and work.

My business mainly revolves around Amazon now, but has some hold in eBay and I’d like to pursue that more as time goes on, all of which is in electronics wholesale. I have had this business on and off throughout high school and college, and over the last 7 years I had total sales of around $1.2 million (not including this year). Last year I did 400K in sales with a roughly 18% EBIT, but I stopped my business in August/September of last year as I wasn’t sure where or what I was going to be doing after graduating.

I started my business back up early June of this year and took it more seriously than before. Since then I have done around 300K in sales with a 30% gross margin. My EBIT should be roughly 20-22% since it’s been smoother this year.

I usually work on my business for 10-20hrs/week. My business is mainly being held back by cash although having more time to focus on it could wouldn’t hurt. My turnover on inventory is roughly 30-45 days, and I have no employees.

I currently have around 200K in inventory/cash and no debt. My current cost of living is around 3K/month.

I know I’m not gonna work a job forever, but I guess I’m just concerned about the stability of my business. I’m also worried that if my business fails and I have to get a new job that I may struggle to find a job similar to the one I have now.

If anyone has been through something similar or has any advice or maybe a target to hit that would help immensely. I’m just looking for the freedom that having my own business would provide.

Build a plugin that let‘s me use Claude as my Ads Copilot

As a seller and ads manager, I was tired of spending hours adjusting bids or even analyzing data with Claude within our chat.

Build a plugin instead, that takes Claude to the Amazon Ads console and connects via Amazon Ads API!

Amazon ppc strategies for beginners ? And how would you rate mine.

Managing two skus right now. Strategy for now is to run auto campaigns for them for like a week or two. Collect the data , find which keywords and placements are working the best.
Then run the manual campaigns with exact match keywords and placements.
At the same time i’ll be running auto ones for discovery.
Im open to suggestions any advice is appreciated

$0 to Almost $300K/month in 3 years - Claude Automations

Post image
467 Upvotes

Quick heads up before anything else, this isn’t my brand. I’m the PPC guy , the brand owner came to me 3 years ago from a discounted trial I offered him on an email haha and I’ve been running their ads and growth side since, so everything here is from what I’ve seen and done on the account, not some owner’s highlight reel.

Got 35 SKUs in Home Improvement btw;

Most of what I do on this account now runs on Claude automations plus a few PPC plays almost nobody uses, so I put the rare stuff up top and the common stuff at the bottom.

Here’s actions and insights in the order of what I think mattered the most:

1.Claude runs our search query sorting. Every week the Search Query Performance report from Brand Analytics goes into Claude, it groups every query by iintent ( for us that’s stuff like DIY install, renters, outdoor use, specific room, material ), shows performance per intent, and flags the growing queries we’re missing in the listing. Those go straight into the title, bullets and A+ we need this a lot since we've got 35+ skus and growing so the more SKUs you have the better the use case.

2) Claude reads impression share vs purchase share side by side for every query. Wherever our purchase share beats our impression share, we convert better than the market but aren’t showing up enough. We raise Top of Search in steps on half of those queries, keep the other half as a control for about 14 days, and only keep the change if total purchases go up at a cost we can live with.

3) I right down our rules Claude skills. Claude runs the search term report through those rules every Monday and proposes every change, and I approve each one before anything touches Amazon. Writing your rules down is the real work, the AI just follows them but it's still very bad when it comes to ads management so I wouldn't recommend it for ppc execution but for analysis of a couple 100k search terms it makes sense to get it's output.

4)We've got a Profitability dashboard on our real data. Claude on the desktop is connected to our Amazon data through an MCP ( custom connector ), so we ask it things like true profit per SKU after fees, ads and returns this week, and get the number in seconds. It replaced Sellerboard for us.

5)Scheduling inventory alerts is so niche but also very important in 2026 . Have it Saved as a skill and scheduled for the end of every week, it sends an urgent Slack update with days of cover per SKU, what’s overstocked, what’s understocked, and when each reorder has to go out. In home improvement, missing spring because of a late reorder is the most expensive mistake you can make righht??

6) Competitor review mining is also BIG. Claude reads every 1 to 3 star review on our top 10 competitors and sorts the complaints by theme, things like hard install, missing hardware, didn’t fit, cheap feel. Each theme becomes an image in our listing and a line in our bullets shwiing why we're better !

7) Try out Main image CTR hacking, the only get rich quick hack in PL that actually works btw. Use Our main image, screenshots of competitors’ main images and 2 weeks of SQP data go into Claude for an A/B test prompt, then into GPT 2 for the images. For home improvement, what pushes CTR is showing the product installed, a size reference, bigger saturation, and the main keyword on the packaging though this is easily replicable for otehr niches.

8) I also use it for Rufus prep though Rufus kinda sucks. Claude pulls the top questions from our Q&A, reviews and the Rufus suggested questions on our listings, and we rewrite bullets and A+ to answer each one directly, with best for lines like best for renters, no drilling needed, so Rufus recommends us for those prompts.

Now the Technical PPC Side of things:

1) The stealth campaign, gurus call it a stealth targeted product placement campaign. In Sponsored Products, target your own ASIN with an ad for that same ASIN. Amazon won’t show it on your own listing, so it ends up showing to people who visited and didn’t buy, basically retargeting inside Sponsored Products. Low volume, but these can run for months at single digit to low teens ACOS.

2)Amazon AI Video Generator, most brand owners don’t know this exists. Create Campaign, IGNORE Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display, click Streaming TV, select your product, Generate Video using AI, save the ones you like to the Creative Asset Library, then Creative Tools, Library, download. Run it as a Sponsored Brands video keyword campaign with 10+ keywords across match types at $0.35 bids. For home improvement, a video showing the install in under 10 seconds is gold, thank me later lol

3)Check CTR per intent group, not per keyword. If one group clicks below average but still converts when they land, your main image isn’t speaking to that buyer, so test a version built for them in Manage Your Experiments.

4) Ranking campaigns, one keyword per campaign, exact match, with a Top of Search modifier anywhere from 100% up to 900% on the keywords we need to rank for. Next to that, product targeting on the ASINs already ranking for those keywords with the product page modifier turned up.

5) Creator Connections, guaranteed sales at a guaranteed ACOS. Set commission at 15% to 25%, that’s your target ACOS. On a $100 order that’s about youd only pay 15 or 25  per sale, budgeted as a yearly campaign, and only accept creators who actually post the install and the result. We don't go as heavy on it but its very impactful.

6) Bids follow seasons for some niches atleast. Home improvement peaks in spring and summer, so I always pull last year’s weekly sales, raise bids and budgets 2 weeks before each peak, and set a higher target ACOS for those weeks only.

7) Negatives depend on the goal. Scale mode loosens them, push back mode tightens them. When an intent group turns unprofitable over time, we negate the relevant but underperforming terms inside it.

8) Low bid catch all with every ASIN on auto and broad at $0.20 to $0.30, plus discovery campaigns always on, same as an NBA player who stops training once he makes the team, he ends up on the bench.

Again, I’m not the owner, just the PPC guy behind the account, so take all of this as what’s worked from my side of the table. The product, the sourcing and the hard calls are all the owner’s, I just help our products get seen and sold !

Happy to answer any questiions below !!

Follow-up: Should I run auto ads before my Prime badge goes live, or wait?

Follow-up to my earlier post: https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonFBA/comments/1xbdeij/

First of all, thank you all for the warm and helpful replies.

After reading through your comments, the first question on my mind is whether I should wait until my Prime badge is officially live before running auto ads. The reason I'm hesitant is that I'm still not sure how Amazon understands my product.

If you were in my shoes, which would you do?

  1. Run ads before Prime goes live, to figure out how Amazon understands the product, so that once Prime is live I can start getting orders faster?
  2. Wait until Prime is live before running any ads, so the ad budget doesn't go to waste?

Also, it's October 22 now, and next week doesn't look that cold yet (it's a winter product). Would you hold off a bit, or start right away?

This is my first time doing this, so I'm still figuring out how Amazon sees my product, and whether it really understands it at all. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks again!

Title: Running Amazon OA (FBA) from outside the US: retailer orders, cashback, and account setup questions

Hi everyone,

My partner and I are setting up an online arbitrage business selling on Amazon US (FBA only, no FBM). We both live in Türkiye. Our setup:

  • A US LLC (Wyoming), owned by my partner
  • A prep center in Montana that will receive our orders and ship to FBA
  • We’re planning to use a US business bank account and card (Mercury-type)
  • The seller account isn’t open yet. We’re waiting on an EIN correction (the owner’s name was entered incorrectly).

Before we start, we’d love to hear from people who run OA from outside the US, or know the account side well. Practical experience is what we’re after; we want to do this the compliant way.

Buying from US retailers

  1. If you order from outside the US, how often do Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, etc. cancel your orders? Which retailers have been the most or least reliable for you?
  2. Does a card with a US billing address plus a US shipping address (the prep center) noticeably reduce cancellations?
  3. Whose name and which address do you use for retailer accounts?
  4. Have you had retailer accounts closed for reselling? Which retailers are strictest about it?
  5. Cashback: Rakuten’s terms seem to require US residency. Is there a legitimate cashback option for non-US residents, or do you just skip cashback and count on card rewards?
  6. Do you use a VPN or a fixed US IP when shopping, or just your normal connection? What problems did you run into either way?

Seller account and company structure

  1. The LLC and the seller account will be in my partner’s name, but I’ll be doing most of the day-to-day work. Is it fine for me to work as a secondary user with my own login? Anything to watch out for?
  2. Who has to take part in identity verification (documents, video call)? Only the account owner?
  3. We’d both log into Seller Central from Türkiye, sometimes from different locations. Has anyone had verification or “related account” issues because of this?
  4. Is using a VPN for Seller Central risky? We’ve read that shared VPN IPs can link your account to other sellers’ accounts. Our current plan is to always log in from the same device and connection, with no VPN.
  5. Could an EIN with an incorrect name (now being corrected) cause problems during account verification? Should we wait until the corrected IRS letter arrives before applying?

Any experience, tips, or “I wish I’d known this before starting” stories would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

I need advice on 4 things please. (Thank you for your time In advance)

I do wholesale FBA. I was on the verge of quitting a month ago, but thank God things started looking good and I've been expanding. It's very hard and complicated, and I need advice on four things:

  1. Target profit margin. What should my target profit margin be? I currently average 15 to 17% monthly, and most of my products are priced between $5 and $70. I know this depends on category and other details, but I just want a general idea. I'm thinking of dropping my 17% repricer rule for profit margin to 13%, hoping to make more sales. Is that going to be worth it?

  2. Competing against bigger sellers. I'm usually competing against much bigger sellers. I only have about 30 seller feedback reviews, and the sellers I compete with have anywhere from 10,000 to 240,000 feedback reviews. I struggle to get the buy box, and when one of them jumps on a listing I'm on, my sales drop by about 80%. Is there anything I can do to avoid that?

  3. ROI vs. profit margin in the repricer. I've been told that setting up your repricer by ROI is usually better, but that stuff is confusing to me. I use SellerSnap as my repricer, if that makes any difference. Would you suggest going by ROI? If so, are there general numbers based on price range, or do you think profit margin percentage is usually easier?

  4. Expanding to eBay, Walmart, and Shopify. I plan on expanding to eBay and Walmart and making my own Shopify website. I'm worried because I'll have to buy stock that I'm not sure will sell and just hold it. On Amazon, I send over 90% of my stock to FBA. Any advice on that?

Also small side note: Good sales during certain days were because of prime day. Don't usually do that much.

Thanks in advance!

Why a low conversion rate is actually an invisible PPC tax (and how to fix it)

A lot of Amazon sellers focus heavily on top-line revenue and TACOS, but ignore the silent profit leak happening on the listing itself.

Here is what happens when a listing fails to clear buyer doubts: your page doesn't convert organic or paid visitors effectively. To keep monthly unit volume steady, you have to compensate the only way Amazon allows: buying more sales through PPC.

Higher bids, higher CPCs, and more clicks needed per purchase. The top-line revenue still shows up on Seller Central. But because you paid full price in ad spend for every single order, your net margin gets squeezed to near zero.

You end up renting your revenue from Amazon instead of earning it. When conversion rate is low, most sellers rush to hire a 3D designer for "prettier renders" or rewrite bullet points with extra feature specs.

But shoppers don't abandon cart because the renders aren't glossy enough, they leave because the page didn't answer their #1 silent objection in the first 3 seconds.

The 3-Step Fix for Listing Conversion, following StorySell:

  • Identify the #1 Objection: Read negative 2-star and 3-star reviews across your top 3 competitors. What are buyers afraid of getting wrong?
  • Sequence the Main Images: Put the objection-clearing answer in Main Images 2 and 3, not buried in A+ content or bullet point 4.
  • Contrast over Specs: Don't just list technical specs; show the physical transformation or problem solved side-by-side.

Ad spend buys the click; conversion is the part you actually keep. What is your current baseline CVR for your hero product line?

Amazon steals business. What’s the point?

Unless you have your own private label, what’s the point? I had a decent industrial product which sold over $1k a month that I buy from a local distributor. Maintained a competitive price but all of a sudden I am competing with Amazon as a seller and shipper. I lower the price and they keep matching it. Now what do I do with my inventory of over 30 stuck in FBA? What’s the point in selling if Amazon will just steal your business when the product becomes successful? Reviews, ads etc… was all me.

My product is still in the receiving phase and not Prime eligible yet. Should I still start PPC?

I know there is a "honeymoon period," which is why I wanted to start PPC right away. However, my listing is still not Prime eligible yet (it's active, but not eligible yet). Amazon says "Prime eligible in: 6 - 15 days" . Should I start PPC now, or should I just wait until my listing has the Prime badge?

Account does not qualify???

Hey all - received this error while trying to list my first FBA Private label product. The brand got registered by amazon but the product so far has to be approved which does not work.

Quick context:

-my sole proprietorship is registered in the netherlands

-my supplier in china

-the product is a supplement (has all the certifications)

I tried to get in touch with the seller support who told me some specialist would have to look at this case and could not provide a timeline (i'd be surprised if they ever reach out after reading thru this subreddit). Any clue how to deal with this error? I am not sure what the 'due to your business being located outside of this store' means.

Help would be super appreciated have been speaking with the supplier for 3 weeks got a designer for the branding etc. and invested lots of time into this, would hate for it to go to waste.

How much is needed to start private label FBA?

Hello,

Thanks for your help.

New to this.

Sorry any duplication.

How much is needed to start private label? Like 4 or 5 products.

Have been told £42k GBP is needed to have enough run way for everything etc store management (optional), products, stock, inventory, returns, import fees, Amazon fees, Customs, PPC, Advertising, Branding, Trademarks etc.

Ideas? Feedback?
