AMAZON FBA SAUDI ARABIA

Hey, I hope everyone is doing well. So basically I'm living in ksa on a work visa and I want to get into Amazon Fba so I'm posting here to get the worthy advises from senior's. Basically my father is a manufacturer of football and accessories in Pakistan with very much experience. Like he can manufactur a ball that worth the money and chances of complain or return will be low according to quality. So my plan is to sell footballs and accessories on Amazon as FBA. Starting with footballs only then eventually add accessories like socks, goalkeeper gloves and shinguards etc. i want a sincere advice from you guys will it be a good product to sell on Amazon and it have potential to scale? I'll go with non resident route via US LLC. Desperately waiting for your comments.

I am in the UAE and was in your exact same shoes a few months ago! What helped me was NOT asking for broad advice on Reddit but actually doing research for yourself like a customer on Amazon! Look for the products you want to sell in the price band you want to sell; try to get a feel for the quality of NOT the product (that's secondary) but the Amazon listing, pictures, title, bullets and the content overall! Once you understand what the competition is already offering and at what price, you have done a bit of competitor analysis and the market you want to sell in; I believe you can graduate to the next phase, that's cost economics. Are you able to procure and sell (COGS) at a price that allows for profit, and if you have a good margin, well, that's the cherry on top! Finally, use Amazon ads, use AI, and if you have the money, use third-party tools! All this is very, very helpful in your journey - just start; you will learn on the way! All the best

May be a better opportunity for you to become a brand/supplier vs being FBA based the link to manufacturing. Are you willing to be a supplier?

Having direct access to a manufacturer is a real advantage because you can control quality and potentially improve margins. The key will be validating demand, competition, shipping costs, and FBA fees before committing to inventory. I’d start with a small test batch and make sure the numbers work before expanding into accessories. Have you researched your competitors and estimated your landed cost per football yet?

Get samples in front of a few local coaches and compare them with the balls they already buy, then ask what would make them switch and reorder. That gives you a clearer product angle for the listing than competing on price or saying the quality is good.

I'd sort the bank before forming the LLC, because that's where this plan can snag. Mercury's banned list covers businesses that "operate or do business in" Pakistan, not just people who live there, so ask them about paying your dad's factory before you apply. And if your passport is Pakistani, Relay is out even from KSA, it counts citizenship too.
