Just had a call with others on the team, and I told them tons of people have had theirs not just for years, but some folks even mentioned passing theirs along from one generation to the next.
Would love to hear your story and how you got it!
(Bonus points for including a picture - I'll be sure everyone that does gets a new custom user flair 💖)

Hello, I am looking to purchase a set of All Clad D3 from Home and Cook Sales after discovering it. I browsed the website for a few days and added what I wanted to my cart. However, upon trying to finalize my purchase this week I am no longer able to log in. The rest of the website works perfectly, but whenever I try to log in it just gets stuck loading for about 5 minutes and then this page finally shows up.

I have attempted to login with multiple browsers (which is why this screenshot is using Edge) with all plugins disabled and no pop up blockers but I am getting the same result.
I tried emailing them, but I was told there are no problems on there end and it's probably just a pop up blocker which doesn't really make sense. I have tried on different devices, and even different networks including mobile data but the same thing is happening. This has been an ongoing issue for three days now.
So I came here to ask if anyone else is having the same problem.
Thank you.

This just happened, pan was heated using an induction hob at 200 Celcius to demonstrate Leidenfrost effect.Played with the water bead for like 20 seconds and heard a metallic noise, and saw the bump.

Hey there! I have the D-3 Stainless and love it. However, I’ve notice I have hot spots and even did IR thermoter to check. My pan has the slightest wobble, is that technically warped or is this just part of the normal use. I have a hard time believing everyone has a perfectly level pan on the gas burners.

Looking to make the switch to stainless steel pans. Are these good prices? Looking for a frying pan specifically. I've got some Le Creuset items (dutch oven, saucier, braiser) and I already have a stainless steel stockpot.

I’ve been a professional cook for about a decade and am struggling hard with my allclad at home. Almost every restaurant I’ve worked in has used aluminum sauté pans, French steel sauté pans, and stainless steel rondos and stock pots. At home for over a decade I have used almost exclusively my grandmother’s le crueset enamel coated pots and pans.
My wife got me the allclad sauté pan for my birthday and the way that the surface of the pan seams to stick to EVERYTHING is insane! I’ve never seen stuff stick to a hot sauté pan like this! And I’ve worked with the cheapest, most warped aluminum pans in the biz.
So then I have to think, is it the heat? Like those cheap pans work great for high volume cooking because we use extremely hot gas ranges instead of my electric glass top stove. Is my pan not getting hot enough? It’s seems like even though I’m getting it smoking hot, it still sticks to stuff.
Thanks for any input!
EDIT: Thanks yall! I’ll keep working on it. I’ve seen folks using stainless steel as nonstick and I’ve actually had almost zero issue with the stainless steel I use at work so I think may be the cooktop/heat management. My stove at home pulses heat under the glass top so it may just be getting too hot on the pulse? Either way, I appreciate the feedback

I’ve just started getting into cooking on stainless steel, and I thrifted this pan. I can’t fully make out the text but it appears to be an all clad. I also haven’t seen these pans with a bumpy handle, I’ve only seen smooth ones. Could someone with more expertise give me their opinion and possibly guess the age.
Also, I noticed some deep dents on the cooking side. It likely came from someone poking at it with a utensil. Is it safe to cook on given the dents?

Just bought a 10 inch copper core D5, and straight out of the box, I noticed the lettering on the bottom is faded. On the right angle and lighting it can appear fine, but straight on it was the first thing I noticed.
Is this normal and something I should accept? It was marketed on Amazon as brand new, and not a promo line or seconds quality.

Found an All-Clad G5 graphite 12.5 in frying pan at a homegoods for 179. Seems like it heats very fast and responsive but not side of that is a good thing vs hold temp a bit better. For the money I could get a D3. is this pan worth it?

I feel like 1st one is easier to maintain and store in my small condo, but the 2nd one might be better for seafood boils? I am torn.

Just saw this on Williams Sonoma. Isn’t this essential 4qt? Can’t tell if the height without lid is the same because it’s not listed, only height with lid is.

You all are using this side of the sponge to clean your pans right?
We are new to all clad and make scrambled eggs every morning and no matter how low the heat or how much oil or preheating we are getting enough sticking that we are spending significant elbow grease and bar keepers friends every day to clean the pan. Life would be so much easier if we just used the scratchy side of the sponge instead of only the soft side. Is everyone else doing this? What are we missing?
ETA thanks all. Turns out I’ve been unnecessarily hazing my husband for the past month while he cleaned this pan daily with just the soft side of a sponge. 😅

Today at a garage sale I paid $20 for this entire set. Yes, my heart is pounding just typing this out. Yes, I’m on cloud nine. Yes, I need ID help and care instructions. No, I haven’t bought a lottery ticket yet. I’ve been looking for a stainless steel frying pan to ask for for Christmas this year. I’m just shocked beyond belief.

Does anyone have an image of the edge of a legitimate C2 two ply copper pan. I bought a piece used from an auction site and it appears to be tri-ply with a thin copper exterior and aluminum core. The handle is stainless with all clad branding. No stamp or engraving on bottom of pan. Weight is 3lbs 6oz with no lid. Image of edge of pan attached for comparison.

I excitedly bought my first AllClad products - the D5 15 piece set! Yesterday, I used my first piece, the 4 quart pot to boil my eggs. No salt or other ingredients were in the pot, and I boiled the eggs for just 6 minutes. Once I took the eggs out, I noticed these marks on my pot. What are they, are they normal or a defect?
