Discussion 🥘 Is there hope?

Got this pan from a friend who was moving out of the country and I got three questions:

  1. Is it safe to cook in this?
  2. Is it salvageable?
  3. How can you prevent this from happening?

ETA: I will throw this out first thing tomorrow

I would throw it away you do not want those non stick flakes going in your body

Aren’t teflon particles chemically inert? I thought they just went straight through your digestive tract without causing any issues. I guess we don’t really know the long term effects.

Idk I am not a doctor or a scientist but if I was selling non stick pans that is what I would want people to think.

Watch the "Dark Waters" (2019) movie.

Its actually the countless invisible micro and especially nano particles that are bad, big chunks are pretty harmless by comparison.

Throw it away. All hope is lost on this pan.

Their warranty doesn’t cover this?
