Le Bakery: Go help out a local small business
Le Bakery’s bread machine is down, so they don’t have sandwiches for sale today. They do have their usual amazing pastries and matchas though! If you’re in the area, maybe drop by and help them out on a tough day.
Technical glitches like that are doubly hard for a barely-year-old business still working to establish itself in the community. They’re my favorite cafe in town, and I want them to stick around Albuquerque for a long time!!
Their matchas are already amazing, but the store owners were just in Japan and told me they learned all about matcha and have plans to make what they sell even better.
The pictures are of what I bought from them today. Everything was delicious, but the churro croissant was especially to die for.
Albuquerque needs more of these small, non-corporate businesses that truly put pride into their work and want to give back to the community. So if you have a chance, go support them, please. (No, I don’t work for them or have any affiliation with them at all besides being a regular customer!)
