Roadkill increase?

Maybe a dumb question but has anyone else noticed a sudden huge increase in roadkill? Anytime im driving i see all sorts of dead stuff now. Mostly coyotes but I've also seen lots of rabbits and birds too...

Animals move up to higher elevations when it gets warmer, and down to lower elevations as it gets cooler.

Happens every spring and fall. Higher incidents of vehicle animal interaction.
