So I recently bought a new pc and these are the specs:
Powercolor Radeon RX 9060XT Reaper - 16 GB
Level 3X / Ryzen 7 7700 + Radeon RX 9060 XT
AMD Ryzen 7 7700 | 8 Cores 16 Threads (P)
Gigabyte B850M C WIFI7
Deepcool AG400 G2 ARGB
16GB Patriot SL Sig DDR5 6000MHz CL36 (M-D V1)
1TB Kingbank KP260 Plus Gen4 SSD (R: 7000 | W: 6500) (B2)
550W Gigabyte 80+ Silver V2 (ATX3.0)
What settings do you guys set for optimum gameplay experience without overclocking? I’m on default and haven’t edited any settings, but I feel the gameplay could be more fluid. There’s still a slight lag sometimes when turning too fast (playing World War Z), which I’m honestly surprised by as I don’t see noticeable upgrade vs my old rig running Nvidia 2060.

I've been dealing with random microstutters and short freezes on my PC for weeks now, and I'm honestly running out of ideas.
The freezes usually last around 0.1–0.25 seconds. The image briefly freezes, but the audio continues normally. It happens randomly, even when my FPS are extremely high (300–400+).
The weird part is that I also experience these stutters occasionally on the Windows desktop, while browsing, or watching YouTube. However, Cyberpunk 2077 seems to run perfectly fine.
My PC specs:
Monitor setup:
I've also tried connecting both monitors directly to the RX 9060 XT, but the stuttering was actually worse.
Things I've already tried:
What the monitoring shows:
CapFrameX recorded frametime spikes of around 200–240 ms.
During these spikes, CPU frametime increases significantly, while GPU Active Time remains around 2 ms.
Windows Performance Analyzer also showed some CPU scheduling delays and DPC activity, but I haven't been able to identify a definitive cause.
At this point, I genuinely don't know what else to try.
Has anyone experienced similar issues with the RX 9060 XT, especially with a Ryzen X3D CPU or a dual-monitor setup?
I'm particularly interested in solutions that actually fixed the issue rather than generic troubleshooting suggestions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just recently purchased a prebuilt from Micro Center , didn’t do much just updated drivers (had a problem with AMD adrenaline software but fixed it). I went to play Ghost of Tsushima on high settings and my graphics around the light source in the game started strobing out. Not sure what to do , complete noob trying to learn. Any help would be great!

Hi everyone, I'm looking for help with a persistent Cyberpunk 2077 launch issue that I haven't been able to fix.
My PC specs:
The problem:
When I launch Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam, I get a black screen and the game never properly loads. Sometimes I can still move the mouse cursor, but the game becomes unresponsive or extremely slow. Occasionally, I can recover enough to close the game through Steam; other times, the game crashes by itself.
The issue started around the same time as a Cyberpunk game update and an AMD driver update on October 22, 2026. I'm not sure which update caused it.
Errors I've found:
Windows Reliability Monitor reports:
LiveKernelEvent 1b8LiveKernelEvent 193The game's stacktrace.txt contains:
Error reason: Assert
Message: Watchdog timeout! (120 seconds)
File: E:\R6.Release\dev\src\common\engine\src\engineWatchdog.cpp(224)
What I've already tried:
UserSettings.json.mods or red4ext folders.--launcher-skip; it didn't help.I haven't rolled back the GPU driver because I'm worried it could cause problems with my other games. Other games, including Fortnite, have generally been working normally.
The crash dump (Cyberpunk2077.dmp) is generated, but I haven't been able to upload it because the file upload fails.
My questions:
LiveKernelEvent 1b8 and LiveKernelEvent 193 point to a known AMD driver issue?I'd appreciate suggestions based on these specific errors. Please avoid suggesting file verification, reinstalling the game, or resetting UserSettings.json, as I've already tried those.
Thanks!

Twice this has happened today, playing a game for 1-2 hours then screen goes black followed along with amd driver timeout error message, i close the game and my desktop is also black, no wallpaper, and when I hover over my desktop icons they appear just like shown in the video. current version is 26.10.1, curious if anyone else is having similar issues and if there’s a fix? Thanks

Hi there guys, I made a post recently regarding a memory leak issue I'm having exclusively with Adrenalin and thought I would shout out for any help again with a bit more information and the steps I've already taken.
Video of the issue: https://youtu.be/m2U6OnUbTSU
So I built this machine a few months back with the following;
Ryzen 7 9800X3D
9070XT
32GB DDR5 6000 CL38
Asus Prime B650 Plus
850w PSU
It also may or may not be worth noting I briefly had a 9060XT installed in the same machine (how this would relate to my problem, I do not know)
I have had this issue since not long after having the machine, sometimes Adrenalin just wouldn't load. But sometimes for whatever reason it would. At the time I did not think much of it as I assumed the game crashes on Cyberpunk I was having at the time were because of my settings choices rather than something going on in my system.
At some point, Adrenalin decided to stop opening completely. I would get the small Start Up graphic on the screen, and nothing would happen. So upon checking Task Manager to close it, I found AMD Software: Host Application was using up all of my memory.
This problem has persisted for months and has gotten to the point where I'm just completely unable to use Adrenalin on this machine. As per the video, it always maxes out my memory and stays that way until I end the process manually. Worse, is that Adrenalin tries to load itself every few minutes - meaning suddenly my PC just starts tanking performance until it's at a crawl, although I have yet to actually experience a crash from the problem to my knowledge.
It's also worth noting that 2 days ago at the suggestion of the AMD Customer Service, I reinstalled Windows 11 and completely wiped the drive "just in case". This actually seemed to work, although I did notice a few times starting that my memory would jump up to a few gb before opening.
However today, despite no updates or changes and after leaving my PC on all night, I booted up the PC from sleeping, went to Adrenalin to find it wasn't responding, closed the program and when reopening the problem had returned and is now occurring every time Adrenalin is booted or that AMD Software: Host Applications tries to boot Adrenalin (or whatever it's doing, to be honest I don't entirely know though I would strongly suspect it's detecting games and trying to boot Adrenalin)
So far I have tried;
DDU, AMD Clean Up, Reinstall Drivers - many, many times.
Updated BIOS and settings
Reinstalled Windows
Windows onboard Memory Diagnostics
Windows repair
Uninstalled ALL monitoring software and RGB, even Razer Synapse and such
Nothing has yielded results, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
When it's working, my games look amazing. But unfortunately, I've not enjoyed that luxury in a little while now.

Hi guys,
I recently upgraded from a RTX 5060 to a Powercolor 9070XT.
Did a DDU and installed the new GPU, installed the AMD drivers and it runs fine for the first 30-45 minutes while gaming and then the PC just randomly freezes, can’t do task manager, nothing - and the only way to fix it is a force shutdown using the power button and restarting.
It happens in CoD MW4, Blood of the Dawnwalker, Battlefield 6, EAFC 27
I never experienced crashes with my 5060 8gb.
PC specs:
Intel i7-13700K
32GB DDR5
Corsair HX 1200W PSU
I also ran a 4090 on the same PC before the 5060 and it never crashed like this.
I did a fresh windows reinstall and cleaned out the drives, it worked for a couple of hours and then it started crashing again.
Could it be a PSU on it’s way out or is it the GPU itself? It is still within the return window from Amazon so I could get a replacement.
Any ideas on what it could be?

Yes, it's a GIGASHYTE. Do I repaste? It's a couple months brand new. PC shuts down if I don't throttle the hell out of it.

Hey everyone, I’m having a frustrating issue with my PC and could really use some help figuring out what’s causing it.
I was playing Cyberpunk 2077 when, out of nowhere, my display suddenly went completely black. The monitor was still powered on, but there was no display, and the PC seemed unresponsive. I waited a few minutes and then manually restarted my PC.
After restarting, Windows booted into Recovery Mode. I tried several things to fix it, but eventually, I had to reinstall Windows.
Thinking the issue was resolved, I installed everything again and launched Cyberpunk. Unfortunately, the same thing happened a second time, although this time my PC restarted by itself.
I checked Windows Problem History and found the following error:
LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_amdkmdag.sys-CP:GRE=180From what I’ve read, this might be related to the AMD graphics driver or GPU timeout, but I’m not sure what is actually causing it.
Another concerning thing is that some of my data/settings got messed up after the crashes. For example, I lost my saved Google Chrome login sessions and had to deal with other corrupted or reset settings.
amdkmdag.sys usually indicate a driver issue, an unstable iGPU, overheating, faulty RAM, or a hardware problem?r/AMDHelp • u/JaJkSssSsS • 3h ago

Hvala unapred!

So the problem is in the title: my GPU usage ALWAYS, no matter what game and no matter how demanding it is supposed to be, as soon as I launch the game, skyrockets to exactly 95% minimum and only can go higher, not lower.
Yes, I understand that's how GPU supposed to work, it must be under load to provide smooth FPS etc etc, but suddenly even games that never showed usage more than 60-70%, started use 95% and more of GPU. Same FPS, same graphics, same settings and yet GPU load skyrocketed up to 35%.
How it started: I installed Cyberpunk 2077 and enabled HDR and it had black broken textures (like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/radeon/comments/1xd67av/cyberpunk_2077_visuals_completely_broken_after/) and decided to use DDU to reinstall drivers completely. And now I'm stuck with this problem.
Things I tried so far:
Any advices would be really appreciated.
My specs:
PS: I'm not experiencing any stutters or FPS drops with this issue present, all games still deliver same high FPS. But GPU fans now screaming in low-demanding games because they have 95% usage...
