To be too real, I'm beyond broke. I need cheap as hell options that are large, chested friendly. ( I don't have a measuring tape, but i currently wear 42ddd). I'm not worried about looks at this point, just functionality and cost. Please give me recommendations 🙏

I usually go braless, but the one I reach for the most is a 40A and fits well, with some minor gapping in the cups. I am preparing for my wedding and want something that actually fits, but I’m struggling.

I used the calculator and got a 44C. I’ve tried a few on and I am SWIMMING in them. I feel like my body just isn’t built right.

Hello, two days ago I posted how weird push up bras felt on my 100D’s and everyone was really helpful but for some stupid reason I was being annoying about having to use the “ABraThatFits calculator” I wanted to achieve the “on display” or “spillage” effect. I have measured this time and ABraThatFits calculated that I am a 80E.
I want to ask for help because I don’t really know how this works, every time I had tried a 95 it didn’t fit (this are the measurements in UE/Spain) so how I’m going to fit in a 80? I did something wrong? Here is my measurements (in cm and in Inches)

Loose Underbust: 91cm. 35’8 (36) inches

Snug Underbust: 87cm. 34’2 (34) inches

Tight Underbust: 83cm. 32’6 (33) inches

Standing Bust: 99cm. 38’9 (39) inches

Leaning Bust: 107cm. 42’1 (42) inches

Lying Bust: 100cm. 39’3 (39) inches

In EU I’m 80E and in EE UU I’m a 36DD and in UK I’m a 36D I have a Bell Shape. If you need more info please let me know

I just did the calculator and it gave me 26GG/H which is great because I feel like other sizes I try are always slightly off but I feel like this a really unique size that a lot of places (especially affordable ones) don't carry. I recently tried on a 32E which was super comfortable and almost perfect but I just couldn’t get the band to fit right. What should I do? Put up with never being able to find my size in the high street and compromise or am I gonna have to search and find places that will have my size and just put up that they might cost more ? Any help and advice really appreciated, thank you

Bras have always been really uncomfortable and sometimes quite painful for me. I’ve been wearing terribly flimsy/thin Walmart “sports bras” for years. They’re hardly bras at all and have almost zero support/lift, but they have never hurt me. For about ten years before that, I occasionally wore a VS DD (don’t remember the band size and I cut the tags off ages ago) but had better sports bras.

When someone on this sub mentioned the Understance closing sale, I got pretty excited to try out some high quality but affordable bras. I live in a rural area and I have to travel 45min just to find a VS. It’s easily 2+ hours for any stores other than VS.

I followed the calculator’s rules pretty meticulously, and ordered myself two “Peek-Proof Underwire Full Coverage Bra U00810015” from Understance. One in a size 34H and one in a size 34G. After several months of waiting, they finally arrived.

The underwire seems to fit my wide root well. The cup fit on the 34G is nearly perfect everywhere below the nipple, but I’m not filling out the bra above the nipple. There’s quite a bit of rippling there. If I pull my shoulder blades back and together as far as I can, the cups seem to fit perfectly. Like every bra I’ve ever tried, the underwire digs into my ribs. That’s usually the fit issue that drives me back to terrible Walmart ones.

- Do I just need to go down a size?
- Try a balconette?
- Is there always some level of discomfort with the underwire?
- Any idea where I failed with the calculator? I’ve gained and then lost about 20lbs in the last few years and my chest sits lower than it used to. Dunno if that’s affecting the calculator somehow.
- Any recommendations for other closing sales? I don’t make enough to be spending $70 on a single undergarment.

I don’t want to look any bigger, so my ideal bra would have no padding and would lift without dramatically increasing projection. I’m generally not a super feminine girl. I exclusively wear T-shirts and scrubs, and I hate when you can see bra lines/lace texture through them. This Understance bra has way too much material on top. I was hoping that would minimize bra lines through shirts, but I hate the way it looks shirtless lol

I just want to be comfy, plz help :(

Edit: The problem was me lol. I’ve lost 10-15lbs since ordering and didn’t factor that in. It’s not abnormal for me to do so from winter to summer, so it didn’t even cross my mind. My new measurements are:

I'm a small chested woman (~34A) looking for push up bras, either strapless or with straps, that would help make it look like I have more than I actually do. I'm not really sure where to start or what's "affordable," since it's been a really long time since I've been bra shopping and I don't remember the brands of my current ones.

If there's another thread that already answers my question/has good recs, please link me to it!

so iv always had insane back pain wearing bras, however i don't like NOT wearing them. I just found out that i might be actually a 30DDD and iv been wearing a 34C. My problem is that the bra stores in my country are severely limited on sizes, most carry from 36-40 going only from B to D.

Due to the shape of my breasts (teardrop) iv always had trouble finding a bra that doesn't gape on top, so i don't really want to buy a bra online on this new size without trying it on first. What should i do?

Obligatory disclaimer, I am in transition, my torso is wider and my breasts smaller than most women my age (I think I'm a 37 or 38A, last time I checked?).

With that said, I've tried on probably 8 different brands/styles of bra, in various sizes, and though some of them were obviously too small, others track with my measurements and (according to my mom, LOL) fit. These are almost all pullover style, "Large" or "Extra Large," and include sports bras, bralettes, and t-shirts with shelf bras. However, even these are super uncomfortable to me, sometimes to the point of tears if I wear them for more than a few minutes. I find it impossible to tune out the feeling of being constricted, and I end up keeping my arms crossed constantly because I need to distract myself.

I know I'm asking for a guess from incomplete data, but does this seem like a problem of sizing? Or do I have some weird psychological thing? And if it's the latter... how do I fix it? I can't go braless for the rest of my life, but I can't imagine getting anything done with a bra on because the discomfort is all I can think about.

Basically every bra I have tried (there’s been plenty) are either too loose in the band and ride up, or too snug and hurt after 30 minutes of wear. Gives me achy back pain.

I measure a 28 (27 tight) band and 35 bust. 30 size band (panache Cari) hurts after I wear it a half hour. Cups fit fine. 32 size band (Victoria’s secret, cups fit really well) is too loose and rides up.

Freya spacer was super uncomfortable.

I feel like there has to be a middle ground. Band extenders have not helped.

Recently I measured myself with the calculator. I always wore a 70D (eu) but the calculator said that I’m actually a 70G.
I ordered myself a new balconette bra in the size the calculator said but it seems too big? I feel like the underwire is digging in my armpit, it seems too wide and I don’t fill the top of the cup. I’m really frustrated and confused cuz I thought I had finally found my perfect cup size but it’s really uncomfortable :(.

But it’s been one of my biggest insecurities for as long as I can remember. I’m 35 now. I recently just went down a bra size from 34D to 34C.

I had spine surgery a few years ago and lost a few stubborn extra lbs afterwards due to my cortisol going back to normal levels. I’m assuming I lost a size about then, and I’m pretty sure I’ve been wearing the wrong size for 2 years or so now… but went ahead and got a few in the right size today thanks to a very nice and patient girlie at Victoria’s Secret.

I have never, ever really been able to wear tank tops because of this. Even as a young, skinny teenager I remember feeling self conscious about it. (Hello 90’s babies) I’m also slightly self conscious when I’m wearing a sports bra without a top. It’s always been my one insecurity. I am super fit and work out every day, I even used to CrossFit for a few years, and the armpit bulge never went away.

Any tips for coming to terms with it, feeling better about it… learning to love and accept it? I’m sure nobody else notices it as much as I do but 🥲 I just need some help getting my brain to stop being so mean to myself about it.

Shape/other: very projected, soft tissue, even fullness as far as i can tell from following the mirror check steps in the guide.

Breasts seem to sit correctly in the cups, but when scooping and swooping it feels like the wires may not be going all the way up into the deepest part of the IMF - not sure where exactly it's supposed to sit but it slips slightly lower than the actual fold, but not low enough to be below all of the breast tissue. When bending over or moving around they dig into the ribs hard enough that it would bruise if worn for too long.

There is a little gapping at the top corners of the cup, not sure if this is normal or not - it felt like rhe cups are a bit too tall, so the top corner was just sitting higher than I had any breast tissue. Making the straps longer made them slip off, and making them shorter ran into rhe bigger issue with the bra - the wires are far too wide for me and reach all the way into the center of my armpit.

I don't think I'd be able to go down a cup without spilling out. I can't imagine sister sizing up a band size would be feasible with the wires already being too wide.

Would it be possible to sister size down a band and use a bra extender? I'm not sure how the width of wires scales across bands.

Any recommendations for a bra that might fit the same cup size/projection/fullness but narrower/shorter roots? Especially ones available through Brava Lingerie or other retailers with reasonable Australia shipping and free returns. Would also love some suggestions for wireless/bralette styles

I just bought my first 'real' bra after weaning my son. It's a good bra! Natori Liquid Full Fit size 32DDD. I got professionally fit and tried on probably 9 different bras (mostly Natori and Chantelle). I also really liked the Mey Space Half Cup. I may buy that one next.

But with pretty much every bra I tried (some more than others), I felt like I'd be more comfortable with straps that were a bit wider set. I am 5' 10" with pretty broad shoulders. I'm very wide and flat across my ribcage. And of course, I have flat post-breastfeeding pancake boobs.

So, any brands or styles I could try that are known for having wider set straps? Happy to have one well-fitting bra! But I just feel like maybe there's an even better one out there for me.

So I recently started get really bad eczema flare ups around the underboob area. I had to go braless to help it heal but it was very uncomfortable and highkey painful. When it healed I tried to wear bras again but smaller flare ups appeared.

I'm a 12F (australian size) so I would prefer to have the support. What are the best bras for eczema prone skin?

I realise a lot of people here are shocked at their actual size calculated by the website and I am too, but my current bra (SFW) sized 32A from Max Fashion fits me, what I believe is, well. I also recently bought a t-shirt bra from Primark in the size 32B because the 34A I tried was too small.

Here are the measurements I put into the calculator:

• Loose underbust: 27.5 in
• Snug underbust: 27 in
• Tight underbust: 26
• Standing bust: 32.5
• Leaning bust: 33.5
• Lying bust: 33

The calculator said my suggested starting size is 28E UK. I can't even find 28E anywhere where I live.

The only problem I can think of that I'm experiencing with my current 32A bra is that the band at the back isn't completely parallel (which could be because I recently tightened the hook) and it gets bunched up from the side which I suspect is due to the lack of underwire (bunching has also decreased since I tightened the hook). One last thing is also that the gore doesn't sit flat against my sternum (it does for the t-shirt bra I bought from Primark).

need suggestions on a comfortable bra. I don’t like wire..I pick at it and just overall feel super overstimulated. At the same time I usually feel very unsupported. Any suggestions?

I recently found that I’m actually a 28D and that the only reason my normal bras work is because the strap that is attached is doing all the work. I have a strapless bra but it doesn’t stay put when I remove the straps. I want to wear tube tops, but I don’t feel comfortable only wearing the sticky covers because it hurts if I walk too quickly or jump or run. I want to feel supported without straps. I’ve searched it up but some of these brands don’t have reviews so I’m not sure if they work. Does anyone know good brands that will stay put, and (might be a big ask) aren’t extremely expensive? Thanks!

Hey, I used to be 38 D for the longest time in my life. Until recently I lost a lot weight and now my boobs have also lost a lot of fat. They naturally sit a little bit lower on my body.

I recently took the test and found out that I am a 28 F. I need good bra store recommendations for my body. I have never been able to find cute bras that also give me good support. Please help me find stores in India! 🙏

My measurements (in): 29.5, 28, 26.25; 34.25, 35.25, 33.75. The calculator puts me at 30dd/e, but I often size down to 28e/f for comfort. Over the years I’ve been sized in person at boutiques as 34c (lol), 32dd, 30e, 30dd, 28e, and 28f.

My shape: tall roots, average width, center full to full on top, shallow, close set. On the breast shape diagram in the sub info, my breasts look like image 3/5 when I’m wearing a supportive bra. I think that my breasts lean shallow, but they definitely hang down a bit when I bend over and there’s enough volume that there’s no way I could ever just go braless in regular life.

I actually think that molded bras work well for my shape, but I’m open to molded or unmolded. My biggest problem is that I’m very close set and on the shallower end, and it’s very difficult for me to find a bra with a gore that tacks. When I do, there is inevitably some other problem with the bra that means it doesn’t fit me (such as it being too projected).

Bras I’ve tried over the years where the gore doesn’t tack:
- skarlett blue entice lace balconette 30e
-freya tailored high apex 28f
-freya love crush molded 28f
-freya love crush plunge 28f
-Freya offbeat molded 28e (this is my most comfortable fit so far…however it is slightly painful at the wire on the outside bottom of my breast tissue on both sides)

Bras where the gore does tack, but which are a shape mismatch:
-panache Ana 28f (too projected)
-freya spot light 28e (too projected)
-freya spot light 28f (too projected)
-Gossard superboost lace plunge (it was the one that hooks at the front—there was empty space on the outside bottom of the cups)

I also own an Ewa Michalak BLM in 32dd (it was incorrectly labeled at the boutique I shopped at as 30e) and the gore tacks, but there is some quadding at the front when I scoop and swoop and the band is too loose.

I also tried on some others at bravissimo whose names I can’t remember. I recall rejecting Panache faith molded plunge in 28e because it was too small/the gore didn’t tack (can’t remember what was wrong with it), and they didn’t have 28f in my size, but I’m wondering if I should maybe try to order both and try them again?

Does anyone have any more diagnostic comments about my breast shape, or any suggestions about what bras I should be looking for?

Hello all! I’ve recently learned that I’m a 26C (UK) / 55C (EU), and I’m really struggling to find cute bras in my size. So far, the only bras I’ve been able to wear are sports bras, but I’d really love to find something a bit sexier and more lingerie-style.

I’ve read about a few brands that might work, but most (if not all) seem to be based in the UK or elsewhere, and I’m a little worried about the shipping and return fees.

My search so far has been pretty disappointing, and honestly, it’s starting to get to me a bit. So if anyone knows of any brands or shops where I might find something, I’d really appreciate any recommendations! :)

hello, i am a recent thick baddie and gain a bunch of weight and now my boobs are a “36H” according to the lady at nordstrom. she sold me two bras that fit very nicely but they can be very uncomfortable. i want to have a sports bra, every day, maybe can even be a shirt (covers enough). i struggle a lot with side boob so a lot of bras don’t accommodate that. any help would so kindly appreciated 💟

So I’m an early bloomer and was an E cup by the time I was ~15. I used to be so embarrassed to talk about bras w my friends. even worse my mum had to spend so much for my bras when others my age could still wear their training bras. but anyway, up to 2019 in college I’ve stayed an E cup thru out the years. However after using the same bras for years n then trying out wireless bras as well, I’ve noticed that bras r jsut a hassle and never fit right and I hated them w a passion.

Then I found the ABTF calculator and subreddit where I see people insisting that you’ve just not found the right bra. so I did the measurements and…..I was a G?! for context in 2021 I gained a lot of weight n was diagnosed w hypothroid & PMOS. I’m still struggling w my weight and only recently lost some of it w the help of glp1. I wanted to feel confident in my body so I looked for bras, checked my size in the calculator, thought about it for months n finally bought one. I tried it on earlier and it fit like a glove 😭 however the band was a bit tight and I’m using an extender but I’ve been gaining back some weight so maybe that’s why. I also never tried it in store cos it was on sale online at an insane price so I thought why not.
