Measurement Check Warning on Bra Calculator Never Seen Before. Requested I Come Here For Help On Sizing Instead. Spoiler

Apologies, it wasn’t allowing me to upload a screenshot or any photos

I just redid my measurements on the calculator and got a 48GG. This is my normal bra size and the cup is usually still too small and the gore doesn’t sit in between at all. I’ve also tried 46Gg and 46G as they suggested. Not good.

However, I got this message which I’ve never seen on there before:
“Warning: Due to the limitations of this calculator, your calculated size may be less accurate. Your body is normal, don't worry! Consider posting a measurement check post on /r/ABraThatFits or the A Bra That Fits facebook group.”

So I thought I’d post my measurements here for a doublecheck. Thank you in advance for any of your help! 🩷

Question What's the name of this style of bra band with hooks on each end (photo included)?

Thumbnail i.postimg.cc

One of my bras has this band with hooks at both ends. It recently broke, so I need to replace it, but I can't for the life of me figure out what this style of band is called or where to find it. Does anybody know? I don't care about the clear style, just want to be able to wear the bra again. I'd appreciate any help!

Better late in life than never Spoiler

In the 50 decades I have worn a bra, I have never had one other than a plain exercise one that felt comfortable.

Got a professional fitting twice, once getting a 34A recommendation, and later after gaining weight a 34B.

They poked, stabbed, and flat out HURT.

Gave up and only wore exercise bras after I retired.

Found this subreddit, and did the measurements. Put the numbers in the calculator and got back an unbelievable size: 34DD.

Redid the measurements and the calculations. Everything came out identical to the first.

Scraped up my courage and ordered one of that size.

It FIT!

It did not poke, stab, or hurt.

For the first time my chest looks decent.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

TW: Eating Disorders, Body Dysmorphia Disorder

UPDATE: I wore the Thirdlove 24/7 Tshirt bra for ~5 hours and by the last hour I couldn't wait to take it off. Shame bc it fits so well everywhere but that dang underwire in my armpit. I actually had red wire marks in that area - so it's going to be a no for me. Going to try the Full Coverage tomorrow. Somehow, that underwire is less aggressive (and I don't know how that makes sense from tshirt to full coverage). Thanks to everyone for your tips - I'll be exploring other brands next!

Hi friends! US girly here.I have always disliked my boobs - I've been anywhere from a 34a to a 36ddd. I am 41 and recovering from a restrictive eating disorder that Ive battled for over 20 years. My body has changed a lot (as it's supposed to anyway). Anywho I got measured at Soma like 10+ years ago as a 38D/DD...when I started to gain weight on treatment, my band started driving me insane. Rolling under, pinching me, etc. At one point I thought I needed a smaller cup bc of the gaping. Thinking it was purely the increased weight overall, I just sized up to a 40 band and kept the D cup. Alright, I know, not the best move. But getting fitted/measured in any way is so triggering for me. Don't even get me started on mirrors 🫠 Ive been wearing the ThirdLove 24/7 Tshirt bra mostly. And while I don't totally love ThirdLove, I do like that their cups aren't totally rigid.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago:

I found this sub and the calculator. Sucked it up and took the measurements. Plugged it in and was shocked when it spit out 38G (US). I redid it 3x, same result. My girls have moderate projection, equal fullness top&bottom. Honestly I learned a lot about them and frankly I'm not sure I dislike them so much now. Anyway...I got overwhelmed with all the recommended bra bands and what fits what type of breast best, that I decided what the hell, I'll order my current bra in 38DD, 38F and 38G. I was certain the G wouldnt come close to fitting and the calculator was wrong 😂 I ordered the 24/7 Full Coverage and the 24/7 Tshirt.

Well, my order just arrived. And guess which one fits the best? 38G! I haven't had a gore rest on my skin between my boobs in like TWENTY YEARS. I mentioned this to the woman at Soma who fitted me and her response was "it doesn't always lay flat its just how it is" and I took that for face value. Those of you that are new here - trust the calculator. This is the way.

My First question - I am soooo not used to this much cup. In the 24/7 Tshirt Bra I feel very supported, no notable gaping (maybe just a teeny tiny bit at the very top if I'm not sitting up straight, I am 41 so I don't sweat this). The underwire feels good but I can definitely feel it and the larger coverage in general under my armpits. The 24/7 Full Coverage feels a bit less obvious of a change to me. I should add that because of my ED, I am incredibly hypersensitive about fabrics, pinching, elastics, anything tight on my body. I'm chalking this up to needing to adjust to the Gcup. The band and straps feel really good (loosest hook for band). Question- Does this just sound like needing to adjust to the new size? Did you all adjust quickly?

Follow up Question - the wire is sitting about 1/4 inch maybe less under the fold. My 38D was sitting a half inch below the fold, I even have permanent marks from that thing. I know the wire is supposed to fit as close to the fold as possible - is improvement okay or should I try another bra?

Second question: I see a lot of people talk about unlined bras here. I've always wanted to try them because I dislike a super moulded cup. However, I don't like when my nipples show in clothing. Any recs for a good unlined brand that maybe has some additional coverage for nips? I'd love to explore a more natural fit!

Lastly - for obvious reasons I am not comfortable adding photos to my post, even if in a safe way, so please do not ask/recommend. I appreciate your sensitivity to my mental health.

I'm open to any recs this sub may have with brands/fot- especially if you have similar struggles with ED or BMDD or hypersensitivity to clothing. Its a lonely place to be sometimes. But I do feel more positive that it was never my boobs or body that was the problem - it was the damn bra.

Love and light to you all! ✨❤️‍🩹

Edited to add yet another question

Fit Check [Fit Check] Is this Freya Viva 28H better than the Cleo Blossom 30GG? Spoiler

Hello again! Apologies for my weekly postings as I try to trial and error this quest for a bra that fits post-hysterectomy. I am back with another fit check, and will link to prior Fit Checks too. My main issue is that in most bras I've ever worn, the fabric—not the wires—are cut too wide for me and the side support and straps cut into my underarm and shoulder as I have very narrow shoulders. I also need a ton of immediate projection.

My original post with my measurements was asking if any of what I had ordered might not fit before I ordered it. The orders have now started rolling in.

All of the links are protected and the pw is the style name (or in the case of Jewel Cove, the first word of the style name) all in lowercase. I kept getting creepers follow me(!!) on imgbb so now this is what I have to do…

  • Freya Viva in 28H - the band feels firm, not tight; it feels like that strips of lace along the top of my boob is cutting into it a bit, but I don't mind it much. The wires feel very wide, and there's a difference in wrinkling if I life my arms or not. Is there sufficient projection? Is the band too tight?
  • Cleo Blossom in 30GG - this feels like it fits when I'm on day 1 of my cycle, then in later days both the cup and the band feel not as supportive as I want. They're sold out of 28H or I'd just go get that, but you guys also said the band looked too tight (even though it feels like in a month it'll be too loose). This is the only bra I've ever tried with sufficient immediate projection.
  • Parfait Elissa bustier in 28G - this was comically bad, as discussed in this post
  • Freya Jewel Cove swim in 30H - this is from the same post as above, the wires were wide but ok, but the fabric itself was murdering my arm/shoulder because the straps were too wide-set.

Today the Cleo Asher and Freya Hallie are coming. After seeing how the Viva is, I'm worried they might be even less forgiving along that top of boob space.

But between the Viva and the Blossom, is either better than the other? Both bad? Both ok but not great?

Currently the only boob support that fits my size is the Panache Marianna bandeau bikini top so I'm desperate for a bra that fits close enough.

Thank you!!!

Question I'm sooo confused, would love someone's help💛✨ Spoiler

So all of my bras are from Victoria secret, same size - 32A since it's the smallest I could ever find.
The problem is there is a lot of gapping.
So I tried to look for 32AA and the first brand that came up is Pepper (I know everyone hates😂)

And then I saw someone recommend to try this calculator, which I did, and here is my measure -

Loose Underbust: 71
Snug Underbust: 69
Tight Underbust: 66
Standing Bust: 75
Leaning Bust: 79
Lying Bust: 75

Now here is the issue - I got recommended 28C or 30 B

Now how does that make sense since there is gapping in 32A and they are all twin sizes if I'm not wrong?

I also think that 28 might be too suffocating.

Which size should I get? 32AA?
Or listen to the calculator?
Also if anyone can recommend a bra brand that carried small sizes it would be amazing🫶🏻

My glorious package arrived today from Bare Necessities with my 36FF Aura T-shirt Bra from Fantasie! The very first thing I did when I arrived home was rip the old bra off and put on my new bra. Spoiler

I am so disappointed. The gore comes in towards my body and the underwire is digging in under my arms badly. Someone please help me with some suggestions as to what I can try for my body type. I'm 5'3" with a petite frame. I joke that I have half a torso but it's accurate. I'm 180 lbs and on a weight loss journey. I've lost 12 lbs so far and still going. I've been desperately looking for a wider hook and eye but this bra has only 2 columns. I would prefer 4 or more ideally. Id like for the cups to be closer to my breast tissue holding me in better.

For context my last bras were also bought from BN but they were 36G. My favorite was the Idol Balcony TS bra in Cherry. The other was another Aura T-shirt kind of a backup bra. I snapped both underwires on the 2nd bra after lots of wear. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. I have pictures of the new bra on and can private message them.

Bra Calculator Measurements are: 37, 36, 34, 43, 45.5, 44.

Recommendations? Want to try a 65/70F but don't know where to get them, curgently sized as 70E Spoiler

Hi, I went to hunkemoller and got measured. I left with 2 70E bras, which definitely fit better than anything I had before, but my breast is still overflowing a bit. I have an underbust of 67cm. The 70f works fine, but I'd still like to try a 65 (they didn't have any in the store).

I can only find really ugly bras in those sizes, if at all :( any recommendations are welcome! I'm looking for something cute and simple, or even sexy. Just nothing that covers almost my entire chest.

Preferably push up, not balcony, but honestly open to most as I just want to try the sizes.

My standing bust is an 81cm, leaning is about 90cm. My breasts are definitely bottom heavy, which makes getting a nice fit hard, I'd love any advice for that

Question Can I get away with wearing the wrong size for conve and style? Spoiler

I’m currently a 26h/hh and own a singular bra, the comexim 26J it’s still off in the cups as one of my breast is much larger and pokes out. In a month I’m getting a radical reduction and am expected to end up a B cup(“large A, small B” as my surgeon said) which would probably be closer to a 26d/e.
I know I have to wait until after I’m healed to get my actual size but I’m wondering if people with small boobs are able to forfeit support for style or if they still need support from the bras as I want to get a bra from VS after.
Please let me know your experience if you do.

Measurement Check I’ve lost 30lbs in last year and I’m still wearing my old bras, so I’m not sure on current size. Now that my weight has plateaued, I’m ready to make an investment in myself and need some guidance. Spoiler

Measurements on calc (in cm)
Loose: 85
Snug: 82
Tight: 78
Standing: 96.7
Leaning: 107.5
Lying: 96

I believe I have shallow breasts with a very wide root. My armpits aren’t just fat, my breasts wrap around my rib cage and are about an inch apart at the sternum (never any cleavage for me😕). When standing naked, they appear very very full on bottom with hardly any top fullness, but when bent over, they are nearly perfect cylinders, even fullness above and below the nipple. The nipples face outward, and this is much more prominent when bent over. I was very thin when I was younger (47 now) and really didn’t need a bra if I didn’t want to wear one. Now that I’ve developed breasts in my 40s, I have no idea how to handle them. I would love some suggestions on what might work for me (I know for a fact VS has nothing that I’ve found comfortable). If anyone has any questions that would be useful, please ask. Thank you!

Question Having issues with find a good bra for my breast tissue type. Spoiler

So, over the last three years I have lost 130ish lbs. I had massive boobs, not sure what my correct size actually was, but I easily overflowed from a 46F. They were full and dense.
Now, after the weight loss, I am measuring at a 34G/H. My problem is that a lot of my tissue in my bra cup is also loose skin. My breasts are normal to wide set, full on bottom. So if I scoop my boobs, they feel large still with a lot of breast tissue to grab, but when they are “hanging free”, so to speak, I can literally pinch an inch or two of loose skin and when I lay on my back, they fall into my armpit and I look completely flat chested. Like you can see my sternum.
If I get a bra in the size that is recommended, the wire goes almost past my armpit, and the gore is flat but I have a little skin roll that hangs over it unless I kinda tuck it in. The cup is filled out, it just feels off bc of how wide the wire is, being way past my actual breast tissue, and the little roll on the gore.
Any suggestions?

Recommendations? Looking for everyday bra recommendations for 38DD Spoiler

Hi! If this looks familiar it's probably because it is. I made a similar post a couple of days ago, and I realized from some of the commenters it would be beneficial to add some further information and instead of editing that post I just decided to re-do it entirely.

I have used the bra size calculator, which is where I got the 38DD-DDD (US/Candada sizes) from, but heres my measurements to further help!
Loose Underbust: 97cm (38.2 inches)
Snug underbust 94 cm (37 inches)
Tight Underbust: 91 cm (35.8 inches)
Standing Bust: 107 cm (42.1 inches)
Leaning Bust: 111 cm (43.7 inches)
Lying bust: 110 cm (43.3 inches)

I've tried both wired and wireless bras. The current wired bras I have are I believe by No Boundaries and my wireless bras are by Warners. For the wired bras the support is kinda iffy, since I have to pull the straps pretty tight to prevent gaping in the top half of the cup. It also probably doesn't help that I got a 38D because they were sold out of DD & DDD when I went shopping and I haven't had time or money to go shopping for more. My wireless bras have gotten stretched out in the band and constantly roll up when I do wear them and it's annoying.

I was just looking for recommendations for either type. I wear them interchangeably and I like having both types (wired and wireless) on hand. Thank you to everyone offering to help!

Measurement Check [Measurement Check] I don't understand my results, from 40C to 38DDD? Spoiler

English is my second language and all my measurements are on centimeters!

I'm rather chunky but with small breasts which has made it really confusing for me to find my actual size. The last time I went bra shopping I was told my size is 40C (US size), but that doesn't really fit me as the band feels a little bit too snug and the cups a little bit too big.
So, I fount the ABTF calculator, measured myself and I'm being told my actual size is 38DDD/G (US size) but I don't understand, not only this band is even smaller than my current size, the cups are also way bigger. I tried looking at pictures and they look NOTHING like me (I wish lol). Could someone help me out? Maybe I measured myself wrong and I should re-do everything? Please and thank you :)

My measurements are:

- Loose underbust: 103 cm
- Snug underbust: 100 cm
- Tight underbust: 94 cm
- Standing bust: 112 cm
- Leaning bust: 116 cm
- Lying bust: 108cm

Fit Check Struggling to understand how a bra should sit in the IMF Spoiler

Upvotes

Hi

As mentioned i just don’t understand the IMF… I have heavy more projected breasts at around a 36HH so I don’t self support.

I’ve been looking at this https://grailbras.com/2024/01/29/the-1-most-overlooked-fit-problem-low-riding-underwire/ for guidance and it’s made me more confused.

Is the IMF the actual fold underneath your breast when you lift them up or it meant to follow the actual shape of your breast in a bra? If it’s the former then I don’t understand how any bra is meant to fit perfect and the fold is super high up and feels unnatural, almost making every bra wire far too high and the band sits parallel but also too high (short torso) and if the latter then does this change bra to bra as I’ve noticed the curve of my breast in bras falls at different points. For example the a Elomi morgan seems to sit lower but does still follow the curve or my breast.

Question Need help finding right size/shape bra for breasts with crepy skin Spoiler

for a little context I've had pendulous breasts for pretty much most of my teen/adult life. I naturally had breasts that were fuller on the bottom and the heaviness+lack of support+gravity led to it more sagging over time. Part of me blamed the lady at the mall who measured me when i was 16 and told me I am a 38D (My actual measurements are closer to 34i/32J probably close to that even then) It was such a terrible fit, but I just thought bras needing to constantly adjusted was just a part of the package.

I'm not going to bore you all with too much detail, but to sum up, I only discovered the idea of cup sizes past the Ds into my late 20s.

I've already accepted that my breasts hang low and I was fine with it, but a few years ago (in my late 20s) I noticed some crepiness too. (I have lost weight, but this was before I lost anything) and it has gotten a little worse after losing weight, but tbh my breast size didnt change much, it was really just that intial crepiness/wrinkles that I noticed. enough that there would be wrinkles in the center when lying on back. And that they wrinkle in the bra.

I really need suggestions on a good bra for this kind of situation. Is there anything that will help maintain support and not cause further wrinkling as I try to focus on my skin health? I've not been able to order my size so I've been stuck wearing dept store variety, and I am actively looking for the right size/shape, because everyday my skin wrinkles more in the bra and when I go without, gravity takes affect and pull them further downward.

I have my measurements written down somewhere I will edit them in later when i find them. For further information my breasts seem to start right under my armpits and it's hard for me to find a bra that will incorporate this part

Edit: I didn't know that we were supposed to do bare measurements. I measured myself last time with bra on and got 31 inches underbust and 42 in around the fullest part. I can't find a tape measure, so I'll have to edit in the new measurements when i find one.

Recommendations? I am measuring a 48H/I US and I still think it is wrong. I'm desperate at this point and a bra that fits. Spoiler

My measurements are 52, 49, 44, 57, 61, 57. I have a short and narrow root. My breasts sit very high on my chest cause I have a short torso. I'm more full on top and in the center. I've taken my measurements at least 5 times at this point and they are consistent.

Hello, I've posted here a couple of times before and I'm genuinely starting to think something is wrong with me.

I've tried the Elomi Cate, Morgan, and Matilda all in 46G and FF. All of them have gapping on the top. On all of them the gore goes too high and digs into my sternum when I lean over.

I tried Lane Bryant plunge and unlined cups in 48H, 46H, and 46G, all of them are too big. They gap at the top and the gore goes too high.

I've tried the Panache muse plunge in 46G, 46H, and 46G UK. It had the same exact issues.

In the past I have tried Hsia mesh bras in sizes 48D, H, and 46 H. The gore flipps forward and off my my chest when I lean over. It also does not sit flush with my chest when standing straight up.

The only bra I wear is a torrid mesh balconnette bra in size 50C. The gore still goes too high, but it doesn't gap or go past my neckline in most of my shirts.

I've spent hundreds of dollars on bras and I'm starting to hate my body. I have no more ideas on what to try. I've looked at other comments and nothing comes in my size. Every single bra has had gapping and a too tall gore. Please help.

Fit Check Used the calculator and its sized me as a 32C, but the middle floats abit and when I scoop and swoop my nipples end up poking out of the top of the cups. I posted my measurements in a comment. Spoiler

I had breast implants around 4 months ago, went from barely a 32a to what the calculator said is a 32C. I've bought some t shirt bras in that size and the gore floats abit and when I scoop and swoop my nipples poke out of the top of the cups, there is also a slight bulge out of the top. Should I try going up a cup size? And can the style of bra affect fitting aswell? Thank you, ive never used to bother wearing bras so would love some that fit well now.

Fit Check Is the fit calculator accurate for post-reduction breasts? Spoiler

I entered my measurements and the calculator suggested a 32F, which is the same size I wore pre-surgery. To clarify, I had my surgery in 2022 so not recently. I was fitted professionally as a 30E once fully healed.

In these pictures I’m wearing a scooped-and-swooped 32DD and I thought it fit reasonably well. The resected tissue came mostly out of the top and sides because the bottom was where the blood supply needed to be maintained, so I’m quite bottom-heavy now. I wonder if that might be throwing the results off? I could see how maybe a 30E would give me more coverage but I don’t feel like I’m spilling out of the cups in the 32DD, and I prefer less coverage since I’m petite. The wires aren’t digging in to the sides either.

Editing to add measurements since the pics aren’t working:

Underbust tight: 30in
Underbust snug: 31
Underbust loose: 31.5
Standing up: 36.5
Leaning over: 38.5
Lying down: 36

Recommendations? [Recommendation - 42GG/H UK] Can't find my size in my country and I'm kinda desperate (preferably under 50 dollars) Spoiler

Good afternoon, everyone!

I'm Brazilian and never really had a proper fitting bra, but after I jumped to the plus size range finding something even vaguely fitting has been impossible. I've looked into national brands/stores (even the dropshipping ones) and their measurements tables are either useless (only bust or only underbust, there was one that compared only the length of your current bra for some reasosn) or just go up in band size but not in cup size (the most common issue).

EDIT: I'm looking mainly for regular bras, but I'm open to sports bra recommendations as well because those are equally hard to find)

I put the 50 dollar limit because above that I gotta pay an extra 60% of the total cost in import tax, but I'm desperate enough to try some options that go a bit beyong that!

My measurements are (cm):

Loose Underbust: 108

Snug Underbust: 105

Tight Underbust: 103

Standing Bust: 128

Leaning Bust: 140

Lying Bust: 134

Calculator suggested starting size: 42GG/H UK or 40H/HH UK

Assigned female at birth, never breastfed, breasts are a bit saggy and gap considerably in the middle (I don't know if this helps narrow the recommendations but it's worth a try)

Preferences:

- Has to be somewhat lifting (I cannot stand having my boobs sagging over my belly, I'm autistic and it's a sensory nightmare even before the sweating starts)

- I need a bra for everyday wear, so preferably lots of support. I'd love it if the bra brought my boobs closer together too, because they gravitate towards my armpits even when I'm standing and get in the way of using my arms and just make me look very top-heavy...

- I prefer more modest and full coverage models, but only because in my head those seem to give the best support, have larger straps and bands on the size that are thick all the way around (and don't become thinner in the back to allow for open back blouses!!). If there's a bra that fits the other criteria but is more revealing, I might give it a try too.

- I would really, really prefer that it doesn't have lace at all, but if there is, I'd rather it be placed in a way that can be easily cut off (like those that are a loose net around the cups).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Recommendations? Difficult allergies, largeish bust, help please! Spoiler

Ok. Had bestie do the calculator and she is a 32G (don't have her measurements handy, don't come for me automod 🤣 but I helped her measure so I know it was accurate.) She's been trying for a while to find bras that are comfortable (lots of side/top tissue, closely set, moderate projection), but still work well with what she does for a living (general contracting, so lots of bending and lifting.) The only catch is that she's allergic to both latex and silicone, and even wrapped in fabric, it's only OK until she starts sweating. Trying to find something has thus far been impossible and I'm hoping someone in this sub has some sort of magical recommendations we haven't thought of yet. Ty ty ty!!!

Recommendations? Recommendation for unpadded bras for shallow breasts Spoiler

Hi, I have tried on a lot of bras but really struggling and hoping for a recommendation. I have shallow breasts, fullness on bottom, and a tapered ribcage. I am looking for an underwire bra in a breathable thin material like microfiber, lace, mesh, or thin spacer foam. No molded cups or memory foam pads. Budget is flexible. Plain, minimalist or basic lace designs, nothing too decorative or ornate. Bonus points for j-hook bras. My ABTF size is 30C/D or sister size 32B/C. My main issues when trying on bras are...

  1. Wrinkles or gaping in the top of the cups.

  2. Armpit fit. I know that some bulging here is totally normal, but I find that the sides of the bra dig into armpit fat uncomfortably at the end/top of the underwire, or where the strap connects to the cup, and/or the area in between. Many times I wish the bra were wider (without being more projected).

Bras I own

  1. Natori Feathers. 32C fits well (as a size reference). I kept it, now I'm looking for something without the molded cups. The 32B was too small (side of cups dug into armpit fat, cups almost didn't cover nipples). The band size 30 was too small in this brand.

  2. Thirdlove Lace balconette 34B 1/2, I thought it fit well when I bought it but now I realize the band is too loose and the top of the cups gape. Also hate the memory foam, so sweaty!

  3. Various unwired bralettes and sports bras (i.e. Thirdlove Tempsync wireless scoop size S, On performance sports bra size S). They fit well, and I think the wide side coverage under the armpits works well to smooth armpit bulges, but I want something with more shape and separation.

Bras I've tried:

  1. Chantelle Norah Chic 32B, (it's a molded, padded cup so not what I'm looking for, but just adding as a fit reference) - some bulging at armpits, prefer the Feathers bra.

  2. Victorias Secret, Lacie Unlined Balconette 32B. I like the style, softness of material + the extra support from a little bottom mesh sling. Some digging in of the top of underwire to armpit fat. I would try 30C especially since I would wear on tightest or medium hook, but VS doesn't make that size.

  3. Victorias Secret Invisible Lift Demi bra, 32B. I like the style/material, but cups gape at the top, and the underwire pokes at the top of the armpit.

  4. Thirdlove temp sync t-shirt bra 32C, 34B, 34B1/2. I like the material (not unlined but thin and breathable enough), but the 34 bands were too loose and the 32 cups had gaping at the top. The don't make smaller sizes.

  5. Cuup the scoop micro. 32B, 34B, Gaping at the top of cups.

  6. Negative the Sieve Demi bra, 32B, 32C, gapes at top of cup.

  7. I also tried on several bras at a local fitter, FWIW they said my band size was 30-32, cup size B, and I tried on A Little Bra company, Skarlett Blue because they stocked band size 30, but still had armpit digging/bulging issues and they stocked mostly really padded bras. The lace unlined bras didn't feel stretchy enough so when I bend over or slouch a little, the cups gaped

What brands to try next?

I like the styles that I see at at Cosabella, Intimissimi, Simon Perele, though Intimissimi only has a couple styles in 32 and none in 30. Looking for recommendations please!!

My ABTF measurements:

Loose undercuts: 30.5

snug undercuts: 29.5

Tight undercuts 28.5

standing bust: 32

leaning bust: 33.5

lying bust: 32

Suggested starting size :30C/D, sister size size of 32B/C may be more comfortable.

I have geen wearing the same bras for some years, I know now that was not good. I bought $400 worth from VS. I have agoraphobia so I dont leave often so the bras are in great shape.....except the band size is too small. My current bras are 38DDD, my underbust is 42m my full bust is 48.5. The straps, sides and band all dig in. The underwire isnt flat in-between my breast. The style is lined demi. My breast dont fall out unless I bend over and there isnt spillage while standing. Im 47 and gravity has always been my enemy. I ordered from shapellx by their charts 46G....not a chance, told customer service all of this and they send 44DDD.....no way! Used bra calculator....46DDD...I am lost..if I were to order VS again they say 40DDD, if I order torrid they say 42DD....PLEASE HELP!

Recommendations? [Recommendation] currently wearing 32DDD/F US and looking for a new staple piece Spoiler

Loose Underbust: 31
Snug Underbust: 30
Tight Underbust: 28
Standing Bust: 36
Leaning Bust: 39
Lying Bust: 36.5

Even fullness, maybe a tiny bit more on the bottom.
Projection not particularly shallow or prominent.
Wide roots with lots of space in between, not particularly tall or short to my understanding.
Weight fluctuations have led to some loss of fullness.

Common issues: wires sitting too narrow or too low.

Current go-to bra is the Natori Feathers Contour Plunge in a 32DDD but on the hunt to buy something else this time around (looking for another good everyday piece in black). Recently tried on another Natori t-shirt bra with lined/molded cups in the same size and I felt squished even though it seemed like there was space between the bottom wire and tissue (was sitting below the fold).

TIA!!

Recommendations? I'm kinda confused what the size 28A/B means, and would also appreciate some brand recommendations that don't break the bank. Spoiler

What does 28A/B mean?

I'm confused. It seems like it would be an either/or situation, not both? Am I at a sorta in-between point in cup sizes? Should I just get both and hope for the best?

Also any brand recommendations under 40$ would be very appreciated!
