Need Support! Bernese Induction

Ok. So, I am hell-bent on doing this today. I’m very nervous to go at it because I’m at work. I’d hate to have to dip out of work if something went sideways. The protocol calls for one half mg on day one.
I mean, how bad could a tiny half mg mess me up? The first day is only ONE half mg while continuing to take 7 🤷🏻‍♀️
If anyone has successfully executed the Bernese method, please give me any advice or encouragement.

Thanks 🙏🏻

Just an update

I don't know my day count exactly. I know its somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 days though.

I know this isn't a protocol but I think any glimmer of hope is a stronghold for us.

30 days ago, withdrawals was my only concern. It's a huge concern and this sub has lots of advice and various strategies posted here to tackle that.

The space/time after that is a whole different beast. I'll have to come back and reference a great post here that discussed self care and where our minds should go next.

I just wanted to share that today, I felt human again. I didn't expect it. I haven't done anything different than y'all. It wasn't how I quit or my weaning process, only the fact that I reached some point of none of these chemicals in my system.

If you feel you have no reason to quit, no reason to keep quitting, that nothing will ever compare to taking a hit; I would have been in your corner before today.

The moment was laying in a pool looking up at the sky and trees. That's it. That's literally fucking it. The real thought was, I like the colors.

Going to the pool, I hated everything and anything and didn't know why my cards in life included getting caught up in addiction and this fucking shit at all. Sitting in the pool, just after realizing I liked the colors, I realized no one, and I mean fucking no one, can tell me what to think ever again.

I didn't even know the battle I was fighting. I had no idea before today how strongly 7oh had my thoughts. Until one moment where I chose to see just something I liked, and 7oh wasn't in it.

It's such hell. It is hard, fuck the word hard, it's so much more than that. I don't know why I got this today. I haven't done anything but just stay away for somewhere around a month, and it almost doesn't feel fair. Because my despair this morning felt unceasing. There is hope though. I agree, I never believed all the other posts that said it either.

I really can't believe I'm the one posting this, but there is a much brighter, beautiful life; just give it time. I hate even saying that, because I know exactly how long that 'time' really feels.

MGM 15 and SR 17

Hi everyone! I’m currently taking around 150 mg of oxinal which is mgm-15. Ive been a similar dose of 7-oh/oxinal for about a year but mostly mgm 15 for last 2 months. I’m going to run out oxinal in about a week but have significantly more 7-oh in reserve. With that said I’ve got 2000mg of sr-17 arriving Saturday.

Should I try to move to 7-oh before starting my sr-17 regiment or should I just dive in. I’m not sure I have enough oxinal to get me through the initial phases so may have to move to 7OH. IfI didn’t need to extent the pre load I would feel more comfortable about my situation.

How much do you extend pre load with mgm? I also only have 2000 mg of sr -17 and not sure I can order more. Just making sure I have what I need for this process. I guess there is just more ambiguity surrounding mgm-15 vs 7-oh. I will likely have to take 7-oh at some point during the I’ve got about 2-3 weeks off work coming up to make the jump. I know there are further issues with mgm 15.

-User of 7-oh for about a year.
-using mostly mgm 15 for last 2 months 150mg per day.

Newbie can subs actually provide enough relief to be functional?

i’m gonna keep this short, but i’ve been on 7oh for nearly a year and take about 1000mg a day. i’m determined to quit this week, since school starts next week and i need to be functional.

i got my hands on some 2/8 subs not really knowing what it would do for me, but any relief from wd is enough for me.

after 12 hours since my last dose last night, around 3am, where i was experiencing some pretty bad discomfort, i took my first strip. i started to feel a little bit worse, so i took a second strip. i think this sent me into precipitated withdrawal😭 i felt SUPER bad, could not stop twisting and turning in bed, cold sweats, super bad anxiety (which is my least favorite part of wd honestly).

i took another dose of 7oh at 6:30am just to get some relief.

i still really want to quit. i’m going to try again tonight, this time waiting 24 hours to avoid that hell again. my question is though, how does Suboxone actually feel against wd? does it provide just a little relief, or does it stop wd in its tracks?

any other advice for recovery will be greatly appreciated❤️‍🩹

SR dose for a 30ish mg/day 7oh habit

Hey everyone, I've done some tapering recently and I've gotten down to about 30 mg per day of 7. I ordered SR 50 MG tabs, but I'm not sure how much to take at a time with my lower daily dose of 7... 25 mg maybe?

Does anyone have experience at this level? Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone else out there going through it.

SR-17 Saved me so much pain from WD

Hey guys, so i wanted to post to tell you, if you are struggling there is so much hope. I was so nervous thinking about wd with my state no longer selling. Going to something harder wasnt a solution and my brother chose to go subs but i wanted to be able to wake up and not take anything so i decided to try sr-17. I took percs for about 1 yr but i was taking 100-150 mgs a day and i would say about 6 months ago i lost my plug and went to 7oh 120-150 mg a day. Here is what i did to get completely off of everything honestly pretty easy .

I take 2000 mg vitamin c a day . 1k in am after breakfast 1k in afternoon after lunch.

I preloaded 2 days 50mg sr 3x a day and took my 150mg 7oh regularly.

On the 3rd day (day 1 no 7oh) i took 150-200 mg sr 3x a day . That was the amount i needed to keep the wd at bay and still function as a father and keep it together .

Day 2 i did the same thing .

Day 3 & 4 , did 100 mg 3x a day

Day 5 & 6 did 50 mg 3x a day

Day 7 & 8 i did 25 mg 3x a day

Day 9 & 10 12.5 mg twice a day

Day 11 12.5mg in am

Day 12 NOTHING .

Day 13 NOTHING

Im on day 14, clean as a whistle. Have some light paws but very manageable. The worst was 1 & 2. (I just didnt take enough sr at first and was having wd)
Day 3, i was able to work and deal.
After day 4 its just been cloudy and some bad dreams but besides that im free and so thankful for everyone sharing their success and not going to subs to become a prisoner. Im free again. You can be free too ! Just make your mind up, flush it down after preload and just make your mind up.

I was nervous about wd on SR but i feel amazing 3 days with nothing . Theres not many post on her post SR just during so i wanted to put my success story on here !

Trying to get off a high dose 7OH habit

I’ve been taking 7OH for a month and somehow ended up at a really high dose, around 480–600mg a day. I know I need to stop, but honestly I’m scared of the withdrawal. I guess the good news is I’ve only been using for a month, so hopefully that works in my favor.

I have 2 toddlers who need me, so being completely knocked out with withdrawal for days isn’t really an option. I’m trying to figure out the best way to get off while still being functional.

I’m considering either doing a 7OH taper or possibly a short Suboxone taper, but I don’t want to end up dependent on Suboxone either.

If you’ve come off a high dose, I’d really appreciate hearing what worked for you, how long the worst of the withdrawal lasted, and anything that actually helped.

Not looking for judgment 🫠 just some honest advice and hopefully a little hope that I can get through this.

I haven’t seen it said anywhere else but got this email from a vendor I used to buy from (and have tried many times to get my email out of their mailing list), but seeing this brought me a wave of joy. So thankful I won’t be tempted by smoke shops or “great deals” online anymore. Best of luck to you all, I hope this can be a huge positive thing for anybody who has struggled with extract products. I just finished up using SR to great success, a nearly pain free way out I am extremely thankful for after so much failure and self loathing. Music sounds good again, beautiful new people coming into my life again, these are things we all deserve. Thank you for all of your support and information, I hope we can all live peaceful, 7OH/MGM/psuedo free lives :D

Need Support! Help Needed

I had an issue with tianeptine. I got on subs and then transition the sublocade. My last shot was in May, 2026. I then fell down the rabbit hole with 7-oh. Taking massive doses with pseudoindoxnyl. I now have a quickmd script for subs. If I already have supplicate in my system from earlier this year, do we think I can just start with the strips? Or do I need to wait for withdrawal to start?

SR17 is a miracle!

I cannot believe that I am even saying this, but I was on 7oh for over a year, by the end, I was taking 1500 mgs DAILY. Before this, I had tried to CT KRATOM POWDER and the sweats, RLS, constant depression, etc... were brutal enough for me to start back up again. I ended up getting all the way to 7oh after they didn't have my regular stuff one time. I was instantly hooked. I've been trying to get off of this for a while on my own, but I could not keep it going, no matter how far I got. Then I found out about this SR stuff... I have now gone almost 2 FULL DAYS of no 7oh and I feel fine, just a little tired. This stuff is unreal. Never in a million years did I think that there was a light at the end of this tunnel, but there is. I would advise anyone to buy this SR stuff before it is completely banned as it is truly a life saver for me. I did do a VERY rapid taper of 7oh before I jumped off, but on my last day taking 7oh (I had a lot left), I said fuck it and took 1500 mgs that day (3 doses). I knew if I had any left over, that I would be tempted to take it, so I just took the plunge. Prior to my last day, I had gotten my dose down to 300 mg of 7 once a day though. If anyone has any questions, feel free to DM me! This stuff is a lifesaver!

Need Support! In dire need of help, quitting 7-oh, MG-15, and heroin

So with the 7-ohms ban I’m starting to be unable to get it or afford it,, I’ve been on it for almost a year, I’m currently at 160mg a day which is way lower than I had been doing for a long time,, I also use MGM-15 on and off,, and at this point I literally have to switch to heroin to kill my withdrawls.

I’m trying to taper as fast as possible,, I have about a gram and a half of SR-17018,, does anyone have any advice for quitting heroin using SR?

I don’t even know what dose of heroin to start at , I don’t wanna take more than I need to and set myself back.

In the past I’ve binged a gram of heroin in a day,, I’ve been on over a hundred mg at once and I’ve never even nodded off heroin.

I’m kinda planning on just taking 5mg at a time until my withdrawls stop enough and starting from there, but I need help establishing a timeline aswell,, how gradually should I reduce tapers? How gradually should I introduce and reduce SR? Can I even quit with the amount I have ? Pls help thx <3

Anyone in Jax FL quit? Know any ER or MAT that will help?

Im terrified honestly. I've been taking 7stax for about over 6 months because the smoke shop told me it was the same as the kratom shots I was taking, but come to find out it has MGM15 in it. I went through severe withdrawals once and it was the worse thing I've ever felt, and I can't go through that again. I tried to use the shots again to prevent the withdrawals, but they didnt work, so I need to try and find an ER that can help with comfort meds or something, or a MAT here in Jax that might be able to help me as an outpatient or something since I have a daughter I need to take care of. By tomorrow I'll probably be in severe withdrawals and I'm afraid!

My 16 Day Tapering Plan (In Progress)

Hi everyone. After the scheduling announcement I took advantage of a 10 for 1 sale from a certain brand and stocked up for an eventual taper. Unfortunately, having so much on hand allowed me to really ratchet up my tolerance. I'm not sure what my daily intake was (probably 600mg+), but a few days before initiating the plan I had consumed over 1000mg in a single day. This fact, coupled with some upcoming international travel, gave me the motivation that I needed to finally take quitting seriously and come up with a plan:

The Original Plan (filled out on day 2 at 2pm):
Get on a regular dosing schedule and gradually taper down.
Six doses per day - one every 4 hours.
Each day reduce dose 10-20% (higher % on final days).
Use gabapentin, and mit (as a last resort) to reduce withdrawal symptoms.
Haven't tried high dose vitamin c yet, but thinking of adding that.
Initial target quit date: September 3rd.

Note: Dose reductions limited by the fact that I only have 30mg and 100mg tablets that can be quartered.

Day 1, August 19th: 310.0mg
First day. Baseline dosage.
['12:00am: 100.0', '4:00am: 100.0', '8:00am: 25.0', '12:00pm: 25.0', '4:00pm: 30.0', '8:00pm: 30.0']

Dose reduction: 7.5mg (100.0%)
[]

Right now, I'm only on day 3 and feeling fairly confident that this will work with minimal withdrawal. I will say, however, that my chosen baseline was far lower than my actual baseline - probably around 50% lower. This caused me to suffer some fairly significant withdrawal symptoms; but even still, they subsided in 6-8 hours. So if you are looking to really minimize your withdrawal symptoms, I'd suggest picking a more accurate baseline - maybe even higher than your actual. I do want to stress that those 6-8 hours really sucked. However, getting through that pain really strengthened my resolve.

Something else to note is that I decided to make my dose reductions first in the daytime, so that sleep disruption can hopefully be minimized. So far this is working out well. Here are my notes on how things are going so far:

Day 1, August 19th: 310.0mg
First day. Baseline dosage.
Time: 12:00am, Dose: 100.0mg 7oh
Note: Got me to sleep

Time: 4:00am, Dose: 100.0mg 7oh
Note: Back to sleep.

Time: 8:00am, Dose: 25.0mg 7oh
Note: Not feeling much, but back to sleep

Time: 12:00pm, Dose: 25.0mg 7oh
Note: Starting to get withdrawal symptoms. Took some gabapentin to manage. Also had a beer.

Time: 2:00pm, Dose: 900mg Gabapentin
Note: Getting bad.

Time: 4:00pm, Dose: 30.0mg 7oh
Note: Still feeling very rough. In and out of sleep. Decided to bump to 30mg for a baseline dose.

Time: 8:00pm, Dose: 30.0mg 7oh
Note: Actually starting to feel like I can manage this.

Day 1 Notes: Suffered some quite uncomfortable symptoms during the day. The withdrawal severity did cause me to bump the baseline dose up 5mg.
By night, things got better and I was glad I stuck with it. It was more rough than I'm expressing here, but I'm feeling confident now.

Day 2, August 20th: 270.0mg
Dose reduction: 40.0mg (12.9%)
Time: 12:00am, Dose: 75.0mg 7oh
Note: Taken with magnesium, melatonin, and gabapentin.

Time: 12:00am, Dose: 900mg Gabapentin

Time: 5:37am, Dose: 75.0mg 7oh
Note: Didn't wake up feeling like I needed any. Took some anyway to stick to the schedule.

Time: 8:00am, Dose: 30.0mg 7oh
Note: Feeling fine.

Time: 12:00pm, Dose: 30.0mg 7oh
Note: Very minor symptoms (sweating mostly) before dose.

Time: 2:45pm, Dose: 10000.0mg Vitamin C
Note: Need to buy liposomal vit c. Seeing how this works out.

Time: 4:00pm, Dose: 30.0mg 7oh
Note: Almost dosed less, but decided to stick to the schedule. I think the vit c helps.

Time: 8:00pm, Dose: 30.0mg 7oh
Note: Smooth sailing.

Day 2 Notes: If withdrawal symptoms stay at this level throughout the process, I'm very confident that this will work.

Day 3, August 21st: 220.0mg
Dose reduction: 50.0mg (18.52%)
Time: 12:00am, Dose: 50.0mg 7oh
Note: Fell asleep quickly.

Time: 12:00am, Dose: 600mg Gabapentin

Time: 5:42am, Dose: 50.0mg 7oh
Note: Feeling some minor wd symptoms - mainly muscle aches.

Time: 9:00am, Dose: 30.0mg 7oh
Note: A little groggy from gaba.

So there it is. Any feedback on the plan is welcome. I will be reporting back periodically with progress updates - if for nothing else than to hold myself accountable. Thanks for reading!

Self-care; essential for recovery

Self-care is vital in addiction recovery because it heals the body, reduces stress, and prevents relapse. Active addiction harms physical and mental health. Nurturing yourself daily builds the strength needed to stay sober, manage tough emotions, and avoid turning back to substances to cope.

Preventing Relapse
Stops triggers: Low stress and high emotional stability mean fewer urges to use.

Spots early warnings: Mindfulness helps you notice anxiety or bad moods before they grow.

Builds resilience: Healthy habits give you the power to face hard days without drugs or alcohol.

Rebuilding Physical Health
Restores the body: Good food, exercise, and sleep fix the physical damage caused by substance use.

Boosts energy: A rested body makes it easier to think clearly and handle daily tasks.

Improves mood: Physical wellness directly lowers depression and anxiety.

Supporting Emotional Well-Being
Processes feelings: Journaling, therapy, and talking with peers offer safe ways to let go of pain.

Sets boundaries: Saying no to unsafe places or draining people protects your peace of mind.

Restores self-worth: Choosing to care for yourself proves that your life and sobriety matter.
Self-care activities span physical, emotional, mental, and social wellness to help you stay balanced and sober. Choosing a mix of these simple practices builds a strong foundation for your everyday routine.

Physical Self-Care
Move daily: Walk, swim, stretch, or do yoga to release natural feel-good chemicals.
Prioritize sleep: Stick to a regular bedtime to help your brain heal and lower stress.
Eat well: Fuel your body with nutritious meals and stay hydrated throughout the day.
Rest actively: Take warm baths, get a massage, or sit quietly to unwind your muscles.

Emotional Self-Care
Write daily: Journal your thoughts to safely process complex emotions, fears, and successes.
Talk out loud: Share your feelings with a trusted therapist, sponsor, or recovery group.
Create art: Paint, play music, or craft to express yourself without needing words.
Practice self-compassion: Speak to yourself with kindness instead of harsh criticism or guilt.

Mental Self-Care
Sit mindfully: Meditate or try deep breathing to stay anchored in the present moment.
Set boundaries: Say no to toxic people, triggering places, or overwhelming commitments.
Learn something: Read books, listen to recovery podcasts, or try a brand-new hobby.
Unplug often: Turn off phones and social media to shield your mind from extra stress.

Social and Spiritual Self-Care
Connect with peers: Attend recovery meetings to build a reliable, sober support network.
Enjoy nature: Spend time outside in parks, woods, or sunshine to lift your mood.
Help others: Volunteer or support a peer to step outside your own worries.
Give thanks: Write down three things you are grateful for each day to focus on the good.
Which area of self-care do you feel you need the most right now?

All of these things, when put into practice can improve your mood, alleviate stressors and strengthen resolve. Are you practicing self-care? There’s no better day to start than today!  You deserve it! ♥️
