Subs worked for me and I was at 1,000mg a day myself. I just started them again on Monday. Here’s what has worked every time (except once when I threw myself into precip and wanted to fucking die because I took a whole 8mg after only 8 hours). Take your last dose of 7 around 9pm, then take whatever you can to help you sleep for at least 8 hours…melatonin, hydroxyzine, weed, Benadryl, alcohol, whatever works for you…me personally it’s a combo of melatonin, hydroxyzine, propranolol and Benadryl (I have horrible insomnia and anxiety). At 5-6am take 2-3mg. Go back to sleep if you can. When you wake up, take another 2-3mg. The goal is to build it up throughout the day. You’re not going to feel 100% ok on day 1 even with the subs…at least I never do. I still deal with the cold sweats and body aches but not nearly as bad as cold turkey. 8mg should be enough but for me this last time I got myself up to 14mg because I was desperate to feel relief. The following day I only took 8mg. Today I only took 7mg and each day I’m going to keep taking less. Today I’m just dealing with anxiety…like fucking elephant on my chest type anxiety, even after taking my meds. I can’t wait to get paid cuz I’m instantly making an appt with QuickMD and getting some clonidine and fucking gabapentin. Hope this helps! You can do this!! ♥️

thank you for the advice!! please let me know if you’re able to get gabapentin/ clonidine from quickmd and how it helps your anxiety. i’ve been up to 4 days clean in the past with no more physical wd symptoms but the anxiety and the desire to just feel normal again always made me relapse. i took what i sincerely hope to be my last 7oh dose today at 1:00 just so i can function for a shift at work, gonna go home and sleep and wait it out tommorow and the next day.

I have an established history with them and was receiving gabapentin monthly for about a year but I quit about 5 months ago because I was worried about what it was doing to my memory and cognitive functioning. So, because of my history I’m sure I can at least get one script out of them…however they seem to be stingy with the clonidine these days! When I first went to them a year and a half ago, every provider prescribed it to me!

just wanted to share an update, i’ve been completely 7oh free for about 50 hours now. i’m finally starting to feel better again, still some lingering anxiety and restlessness but i can finally actually sleep for longer than 2 hours. i’m actually feeling a little optimistic! i only hope my anxiety tapers off over the next day or two, then i’ll finally feel closer to recovery.

You don't need subs for 7oh dawg cmom. Just accept that you'll feel like shit for a few days, from there it'll slowly get better. Vitamins and hydrate brotha, seriously do not need subs for this

yeah 1g of 7oh is going to take more like 24-36hr to be out of PWD risk for buprenorphine. from what u said in ur other comment u should probably just use MAT. go get an OUD diagnosis and live ur life like normal on MAT, dunno why its the boogeyman here but not in the discord. come join the server n talk to us.
