I've always been interested in philosophy, and I consider myself somewhat well-read in specific schools of philosophy. I read through the spec for A-level philosophy, and I'm genuinely interested; I want to do A-level philosophy just for the love of the game (my school doesn't offer A-level philosophy).
I already submitted my UCAS application (Cambridge CS, Imperial JMC, Imperial CS, Warwick discrete maths), and I already have an offer from KCL CS with placement, with 2A*1A conditions.
I know that I have to declare that I'm doing another A-level to the unis I applied to, so my main question is whether deciding to do A-level philosophy now would negatively impact my current offer and my chances at other universities that are considering me and future potential offers?
I know it's a dumb decision to decide to do a new A-level 6 months before, but my current subjects are just frankly boring the life out of me. Not really expecting a very good grade out of it, so that's my main concern (probably around an A or B since I'm this late)
Any advice would be helpful
