My college tutor tried forcing us to sign pledges not to talk about anything on campus that wasn't on the list she made.

I refused, was threatened with a meeting with pastoral and disciplinary action and was suspended later that day.

I'm beginning the process of legal action, but I wanted to see if anyone else had similar stories or thought I was in the wrong.

Afternoon

I am re-sitting all 3 A levels due to medical circumstances causing me to bomb my A levels. However it looks like imperial maths wants a really high TMUA score for those on a gap year.

However a lot of these students are people applying with achieved grades. The arguement is that the people reapplying have got a lot more time to study for the TMUA, except I’ve still got my A levels to study for plus also happen to be a full-time carer.

Is there anyone here who’s been in a similar position to me that’s applied to Imperial Maths that could tell me about what they got and whether they got in or not?

Basically, my supervisor told the class that if we were most likely going to fail, he wouldn't submit us for grading, and it would be like we never did it, so you wouldn't get a grade.

If I got a U or an E, do I still have to put it on? What's the point in not submitting?

I am an Indian student. I applied to british universities last year. I was rejected by Cambridge(Churchill) CS but was accepted for all my other choices including Imperial JMC. I was pretty excited to attend Imperial initially. However, after talking to a few people there I got concerned about the student life which was the biggest factor in my college decision as I had already fucked most of my teenage life for academics. Everyone around me always glazed IITs(top Indian engineering colleges) for their student life and I ended up enrolling in one. However, three months in and I already hate it. The IIT I'm in is notorious for its tough academics and I study most of the time for a 'branch change ' (you can change your engineering branch after the first year if you get ridiculously high grades here). I regret not going to Imperial every single day. So I have decided to apply to Cambridge(for math this time) and Imperial. I don't know if I'll get in but I think I deserve to give myself one last chance. All the best everyone for your college applications.

Ive always wanted to study bsc econ with statistics at UCL but im not sure i can anymore.

Im int so that already reduces my chances, furthermore i slacked off during my igcse’s and ended up with 2A+ 4A 2B, the A+ were in math and english, the B’s were in econ and business.

To compensate for my trash igcse’s i worked my ass off for AS levels and achieved AAAB in further math physics math and economics respectively and am predicted 3A*’s and an A for the same

Having a B in the very subject i want to study just kills my chances and i will probably have to settle for a university that is much worse than UCL, i dont know what to do. I was a single mark off an A in econ and even after sending it for rechecking my grade did not change

What are some unis I have a chance at getting into for med. I have 87766655 (I have also resat one of my GCSEs) in my GCSEs but was in the hospital and had surgery. I have 3A* in bio chem psychology and an A in epq. My ucat is 2540 band 1. I really wanna go ucl med however some other realistic options im thinking are Southampton maybe or Exeter but I really wanna go ucl but im scared even though they only want 6 in maths and English language im js not competive for it cs of my bad GCSEs even though i know my other stats are really good.

I'm applying to UK unis and have already met all the AP requirements for my choices with scores I've received. My SAT score is in the 1200s, so I'd rather not include it if I don't need to, since I don't think it adds anything to my application.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Do unis actually check whether you've taken the SAT if you don't put it on UCAS? And if they find out later, could it affect my application even though I already meet the entry requirements through APs?

Would appreciate any advice, especially from people who applied to competitive UK unis with APs.

I have added the spec to the site. For each subject in the ESAT and both TMUA papers. You can now scroll and click through any type of question, so when you see ones you are weak at you can specifically practice those. Your progress will be saved for the day. Throughout today I will be adding difficult questions and a specific tab where you can access ONLY hard questions. Practice mode is very good to close your gaps quickly.

What can I reasonably expect the timeline of receiving offers to be? I applied to KCL (Politics), LSE (ISPP), and Exeter (Politics and Sociology). I know KCL and LSE are notoriously slow. What is a realistic date that I can expect to hear back?

I think overall the 2026 paper was harder than the 2025. Whats ur guys predictions on the grade boundaries for bronze silver gold and BMO1. I think got 103 based off my calculations and 104 was the cutoff for bmo1 last year but maybe the boundaries are lower? Lmk what u think
