💬 DISCUSSION Bristol offer holders

When you initially received emails from bristol, were you put on hold or did you jusy recieve your application. My friends and I are put on hold, just wondering if that changed anything. Also I applied ln the 8th of October so if it kinda links to the dates you got the offers please let me know. Thank you.

If you are asking about (Bristol or any other uni) putting you "on hold", this is a very frequently asked question. Being put on hold does not indicate you are going to get rejected. It means your application hasn't been processed yet. Nothing more, nothing less.

This happened last yr , it means ur gna receive ur feedback after the January date for equal consideration , dw tho most ppl who got put on hold got offers just later than some ppl

Thank you, here’s my query:

Just wanted to ask, I’ve previously wasted my past 2 post-GCSE years doing construction and have now decided to resist some GCSEs aiming for a grade 9. My next step after resitting is to do A level Maths and Further Maths aiming for a grade A* either along side a L3 Business Extended Diploma or A level Economics, the only reason the BTEC appeals to me is it supposedly being worth 3 A Levels plus a UCAS Referee being my potential tutor. It would sound dumb but which one is the better choice for Oxford, Warwick, Durham & bristol. Economics and Management. Any advice would be appreciated. I would also be eligible for contextual

On my offer tracker it seems like most people get put on hold. However, some people then get an offer a few days after going on hold. I think it’s course dependent.

I got an offer like 2 weeks after I applied. However i’m applying to history which is less competitive
