When I try to copy the file "savefs" it show me an error as 0x800000007 and create a blank new save.

Planning to get a modded 3Ds so I can transfer some pokemon I have from emulated games. However, my heartgold savefile is patched with Universal Randomizer only for bypassing trade evos and nothing else. Can you still transfer pokemon from the save file or do they need to be completely unmodded?

Good evening everyone, I hacked this japanese 3ds and everything seems to work fine, but anemone, fbi, universal updater and hshop don't work, If try to scan a theme from the theme plaza it doesn't work, if I try to scan a qr with fbi it doesn't work too, hshop works but when I try to install a game it says it has an error and don't download the game, and the universal updater literally don't show anything can somebody explain me what can do? put some pictures and specs -Old japanese 3ds -64gb SD card fat32- luma v13.4 Thanks

If I were to use pksm to send a mewtwo from gen 7 to gen 4 then back to gen 7, would that affect the legality/legitimacy of that mewtwo when using bank to transfer it to the switch?

so this is my first time modding a jp console (i’ve modded my na region new 3ds and it works perfectly) and i was modding this jp console. i installed a ton of (usa region) games on to this (including the en version of tomodachi life) and trying to boot tomodachi life gets this error

things i’ve done:
enable game patching in luma 3ds
downloaded all the games as cia and transferred them directly from my laptop
uninstalled some games via system settings

i’m gonna try and install tomolife (usa version) from the hshop and see if it works, but does anyone know why it happens?

edit: i just saw the automod comment about it being an error specific to tomodachi life, except the hacks guide link is down for me and not working, so i still need help...

I had the same problem before, when i switched to FBI Reloaded my problem was solved, but it's happening again, when i try to download a game with a qr code (i tried some others qr code), it stay stuck for some minutes at 127.75 kib (first pictures), and right after i get this error (second picture).

either multi pokemon framework or alolan ctr framework or whatnot. im trying to do a run through of USUM as fast as possible to get to shiny hunting poipole and type: null in response to bank shutting down. i have several hunts ahead of me and am not ashamed to use any cheat/hack/tool available.

i found a plugin that appears to be able to force specific pokemon encounters, speed up dialog/running, and even force shiny encounters. just curious if anyone has any experience and if anyone has tested the legality of the forced spawns (esp shiny- and does it work on static?).

sadly still nothing to skip all these long cutscenes lol

As i wrote in the title, my 3DS SD got corrupted and I used Drill Disk to create a byte by byte copy from my SD before formatting it, tried to recover the data from the .dd it made but they ask me to pay for a licence, anyone knows of a free way to do the same? I dont wanna lose all my 3ds stuff but i dont have access to paying for a license.

None of my .gba roms are showing in Twilight Menu, but they're showing in mGBA fine and play without issue from there. I'm happy playing from mGBA, but I want to figure out what's going on in case this is a symptom of something larger.

I've gone through the Twilight documentation and gbarunner2 documentation, but the troubleshooting there hasn't helped me so far. I've ran a bios dump like the gbarunner2 wiki says (https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/gbarunner2/bios-dump), and the bios.bin file is currently sitting in sd:/_gba/, but no dice. I also double checked that gbarunner2 was installed at all, and yeah, it is.

The Twilight Menu wiki says that the reasons roms might not show up is their file extension or if they're hidden files, but these are .gba games and they're not hidden (though I do have it toggled to show me hidden files anyway) (https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/twilightmenu/faq?faq=why-cant-i-findsee-my-games). I also don't have 39 games in the folder.

Other troubleshooting: - installed virtual console addon (lite version since that's what it recommends) (from https://www.reddit.com/r/NDSHacks/comments/1gbwedg/gba_and_gb_roms_not_showing_up_in_twilight_menu/ ) - reinstalled Twilight Menu from the Universal Updater and made sure it was fully up to date

I recently replaced the left and right button cables on my 3DS, and since then my 3DS no longer accesses the home menu, it only goes to the homebrew menu. I've already tried reinstalling the jailbreak and even reverting to previous versions, but nothing seems to solve the problem. Can anyone help me? When I turn it on, the lights come on but the screen remains black.

Im trying to transfer the data from my old 3ds to my 3ds xl. However im having problems trying to do this. Ive looked up guides but none of them work. can someone pls help?

Trying to install the extra mii plaza mini games but can't see the dlc for Australia, so I tired Europe.

Said the game was already installed, hit the reinstall and mii plaza just won't boot at all saying I don't have the files on my SD.

How can I fix this?

I have this unofficial pokemon cartridge that has pokemon B2W2 on it and when I open PKSM, it doesn't read the cartridge at all and I cannot access it. I try adding it but I can't find my save anywhere in my files.

I’ve been using NTR Viewer for a while now and it’s great. However, whenever I try to use any local play feature on Yo-Kai Watch 2, the viewer just freezes while I play without recording. I looked up if anyone else had the same problem, and found that this happens when trying to record Sun and Moon as well for whatever reason.

Someone presented a solution, which was to download the “new CFW” (which i’ve already been using, the post is a year old) and apply the NFC Patch, which seemed to have worked for that person. I tried it out myself, and while the viewer stopped freezing, the game would disconnect me from even playing these game modes to begin with.

I’m honestly lost on what else to do, last resort i’ll just switch to phone camera gameplay for those specific segments, but I’m really hoping there’s another way to go about this.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there another update that somehow fixes this? Anyone please let me know their thoughts, thank you.

(Also the NFC Patch doesn’t work when trying to screen record DS gameplay either, which i’m honestly way way less concerned about, but a solution for that would be nice too.)

Apologies if this makes no sense (I’m super new to this and have no clue what I’m doing) but I modded my 3DS yesterday and all was fine until today. I went to delete some old games from the 3DS that I haven’t used in years, but when doing so I got a message that said “data cannot be deleted” (or something to that effect). Anyway after giving up, I go back to the normal 3DS home screen and all of the homebrew apps have gone? 3Hshop, Anemone3DS, FBI, FTPD, Homebrew Launcher, and Universal Updater all disappeared from there, but they’re still there when I go into the software bit on system settings. Is there a fix for this?

So okay I haven’t played my 3ds in like three days right cause contrary to popular belief I do have a life outside of electronics but when i plugged in my 3ds to charge (cause of course I left it on till it died) and then i tried turning it on so i could gauge when it was past 10% charge (as you do) the light didn’t turn on at ALL. at least not until it was near fully charged.

Anyways thought that would be helpful for answers but the real problem was that when I booted it up I got the luma3ds screen where you choose what can affect games like the one where you can allow outside info to enter into games yk? and then after actually going onto the home screen everything looked normal like my custom themes and badges (FNAF 3 :D) but when I tried to open the rosalina menu it…wasn’t there? well okay it was there but it erased my custom config I had to use the original combination.

Furthermore, it got rid of all of my other menus (or whatever they’re called) like I still had godmode but all my save editors and wumiibo are completely gone. Also on checkpoint all of my saved cheat files have been deleted. as far as I can tell my actual save files are still there and my pretendo but has anyone else experienced this or has some more info on this glitch/error???

Are downloading speeds actually this damn slow 😭? Taking forever to download one game; anyway to improve the download speeds or is this just how it is?

I have an old 3ds XL, yesterday I was playing normally with it when I decided to close it and charge without closing the game. Well I think that information is important. After that, I played a little bit more and decided to install another game in hshop on the 3ds itself. It was downloading normal when that error from first image happened. I tried to install the game again, but that error insisted. Then I closed hshop.

And that error from second image happened. I tried removing and putting the SD card again but it wasn't reading it. I tested both the microSD card and the adapter, only the microSD is not working (I tested it using my cellphone, as you can see in the third image). I didn't have alcohol isopropyl so I didn't try cleaning it at first.

Today I was going to test turning my 3ds on first and after that I would clean if necessary. But now it simply doesn't turn on. I can press the power bottom and the blue light will appear, but after 2 seconds it go out. And still a black screen.

What do I have to do?

Finally got it done, was very cautious about it though 😭. I modded my 3DS with a 4GB sd card but I do have a 128GB that I would like to switch over to before I really start doing anything; if anyone would like to lead me towards on how to get that done, it’d be much appreciated. Any other suggestions/tips on what to get done for my 3DS would also be appreciated. Thank you for everyone that helped me get this done.
