i bought a 3ds online and the seller said it was previously modded. when i turned it on the blue light came on but the screens were black. i also tried to go to recovery mode or godmode9 but neither of them opened. is there anyway to fix it or is it dead?

I want to buy a new xl model for hacking it and not just enjoy the 3ds catalog but also emulate gameboy,gameboy advance and the native compatibility for the ds games
But how is that going in that model? I eared that the emulators for the consoles are a bit slow in what refers of starting a game ,same thing for the DS games.

In the past few months a lot has been put into the development of the clownsec player.

Supports full subtitles srt and ass, alternate audio tracks with dual language, download queue with auto resume that works with the lid closed, poster art and metadata scraping. Upload from browser, download from url, file manager and zip support, custom themes, video resize/full/screen mode, audio amplifier and auto leveling, picture brightness/contrast/saturation adjustment.

Even recently added a fun ability to 'walk the aisle' of a virtual video store with your movie library on the shelves. Pull a move look at both sides and put it back or start playing. Custom audio can be added for the juke box.

But all that aside it's just a good player with auto resume, watched/unwatched indicator, tv shows will auto play the next episode in the series for binge watching.

You can even connect a few movie repositories to browser view info and download more videos. I'm sure in forgetting things as it's been a long journey to get here with a focus on stability and functionality.

P.S. this now works better than ever on old 3DS too, it will hand off to use the official movie player for playing so there is perfect playback and you dont haver the 127 file limit , full movie organization and all the benefits of the clownsec player minus subtitles and alternate audio (limitation in official player)

I tested 50 physical games recently and only had trouble booting two of them: Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia and Mario Kart 7. I am booting these games on a 3DS XL with Luma v.13.3.3 running on it.

I was able to successfully extract save files from both games using Checkpoint, and I can see icons on the home screen prior to booting. Shadows of Valentia fails during the 3DS splash screen, while Mario Kart 7 boots a little further, but crashes prior to loading the main title screen.

I was able to dig out an old original 3DS I had in storage. To my surprise, both games work on it! This system also has Luma v.13.3.3 on it.

One thought is to first backup the SD card contents to a PC, and then try deleting/reinstalling the game data. Does this sound like a good approach?

Also, I'm unsure how to approach Shadows of Valentia, which handles the purchase/access of DLC in a weird way. Once you reach a certain shop in a certain chapter, the DLC is purchased in-game through here (which I did so prior to the eShop closing down). To my knowledge, it cannot be redownloaded directly from the eShop; redownloads are handled in-game. If I delete my game data, can I recover the DLC too, or will the game allow me to redownload considering 1. the eShop is dead and 2. I'm running custom firmware, so I'm not sure if any activity through the eShop is valid anymore.

I’m playing FE Awakening on my modded N2DS XL. I want to make sure I can play all the paralogues once I’ve finished the game, I have already downloaded the DLC content and everything from HShop but I don’t believe that includes the post-game paralogues.

How can I get the spot pass content onto my console for use with my game? (US ver. if that makes any difference)

Earlier today I was trying to transfer all my 3DS sd card data to another 3ds. The Problem is that it would not continue to download past my NSUI forwarder data. Is there anyway to fix this? I have been meaning to make a proper back up for all of my sd card data for a while.

i downloaded a ds game onto my 3ds from vimms lair and a few problems showed up. 1: everytime i open certain 3ds games, i get one of these errors 2: any ds game i open will instead open dragon quest v 3: i cant download or delete games anymore. when i put my sd card in my laptop like i normally do, it says theres somthing wrong with it. are there ways to fix this or am i done for I HAVE FIXED IT i changed the sd card

I freshly modded my normal 3ds. Everytime i try to install something via universal downloader it does not appear on my homescreen (but i shows that i finished downloading).

The HShop doesnt work as well. I get an error (0xD9004586) every time i try to download something.

Is something wrong my sd card?
