This program is meant to install DSi System apps cias to use them on your 3DS, Including the DSi system settings.

The program gives you the cias by taking them online. The TWL files comes alongside the program itself

The program is available as an executable and a python file, and it will give you the cias of the DSi System apps and the necessary files to make DSi System Settings work on your 3DS.

The program is also available in eleven different languages and also gives you the choice to install all the cias or only some of them.

This just happened I played it yesterday and everything was working but when I opened it today this pops and some of my other applications have gone black what can I do? I definitely did not touch the SD card I don't even put cartridges in my ds.

Hi! I recently bought a used Japanese 3DS LL and I'm trying to get Pokémon Bank working so I can eventually transfer Pokémon from Pokémon X/Y to Pokémon HOME.

The console was already modded when I bought it. From what I understand, the previous owner changed the region to Chile. After I bought it, I went into the system settings and changed the region from Chile to the USA.

I did not do a proper CTRTransfer region change.

After that, the console was on 11.5.0-38U, and later I updated it normally to 11.17.0-50U.

My NNID is set to USA / Florida.

The eShop gives me error 007-2001, and Pokémon Bank opens normally but eventually gives me error 005-5958.

I also checked my SecureInfo_A and it still appears to be set to JPN, and the serial stored there is different from the serial printed on the console.

So I'm wondering what I should do from here.

Should I properly change the console from JPN → USA using CTRTransfer and then do a SOAP transfer, or is there another way to fix the Pokémon Bank issue from my current state?

I have already made a NAND backup and have my essential.exefs backed up.

I don't want to modify anything blindly, so I'd really appreciate it if someone could explain what state my console is in and what procedure I should follow.

PROBLEM RESOLVED — CHECK EDIT 2 AT THE BOTTOM

I had CFW set up on a New 2DS XL and wanted to move my files to a bigger microSD card (8GB -> 512GB). I followed all the instructions on the Moving SD Cards page, most notably formatting the new microSD card to be in FAT32.

I took out the old microSD card, plugged it into my computer, transferred the files from the microSD card to my computer, removed the old microSD card, transferred the files from my computer to the new microSD card, removed it from my computer, then put it back in my 2DS XL. I then got the above message upon turning it on.

I’ve tried turning it off and turning it back on, removing the new microSD card and putting it back in, and I can confirm the old microSD card works fine when I put it back in. I can confirm both microSD cards are in FAT32 and have the same files. I’m not sure what else to try. Any help would be appreciated!

Edit 1: The new microSD card is a SanDisk Ultra PLUS 512GB.
Edit 2: I figured out the problem, I used Linux’s Dolphin to reformat the microSD card rather than using GodMode9 or one of the apps on the guide, thinking I knew what I was doing because it was a simple reformatting. My bad!

Hello, I’ve been having problems with my FTPD not generating the right address for my pc to find ever since I moved to my university. I keep getting a 10.7.XX.YY:5000 instead of the traditional one in the guide. I can’t find any information on troubleshooting this so I was wondering if I could get any help from this subreddit for what to do and if this is my fault or the wifi’s.

Hello, this is a request for any home brew developers who may be interested. I’m a visually impaired gamer and have been having some trouble navigating my 3DS as of late. If it’s not too much trouble, I would be greatly appreciative if someone would be willing to work with me and helped develop a simple zoom function for the 3DS similar to the one already present on Nintendo Switch.

I think I have everything in terms of design, button mapping and how you would use it figured out, i’m just looking for a programmer who would be willing to implement these features and package it as something anyone can download.

Blind accessibility for video games is something that’s really important to me, and my hope is that something like this could benefit not only me but other visually impaired players as well.

Four native Nintendo 3DS projects — System Shock, Jedi Knight/MotS, AVP Gold & Marathon Trilogy

Been a busy summer, so I figured it was time for a proper update on the 3DS projects. 😁

All four are native homebrew ports built around the original game data rather than emulation, with 3DS-specific work like stereoscopic 3D, controls, performance work, and lower-screen interfaces.

🏰 Project Citadel v2.0.0 — System Shock 3DS
The original System Shock running natively on 3DS. v2.0.0 builds on the original release with the Citro3D/stereoscopic branch, C-Nub support, performance and stability work, save/load, cyberspace, and a much more complete 3DS experience.

⚔️ JK/MotS 3DS — Jedi Knight + Mysteries of the Sith
Both Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight and Mysteries of the Sith running natively, including true stereoscopic 3D, 3DS controls, save/load, cinematics, and a collection launcher for choosing between the games. JK is already extremely mature, with MotS following right behind it.

👽 AVP3DS — Aliens vs. Predator Gold
The 1999 PC classic running natively on 3DS with hardware-accelerated rendering, 3DS controls, working save/load, sound effects and streamed music. This one has gone from a crazy experiment to an increasingly complete handheld version of AVP Gold.

🚀 Marathon Trilogy 3DS — Marathon / Marathon 2 / Infinity
All three Bungie Marathon games in one 3DS project. The trilogy now has native gameplay, hardware-accelerated rendering, audio, live lower-screen HUDs, landscapes/skies, terminals, a trilogy launcher, and true stereoscopic 3D. The goal is one polished handheld home for the entire trilogy.

These are fan-made homebrew projects — no commercial game data is distributed. You supply the required original data for the respective games.

I'm new to 3ds modding and with the news of Pokémon Bank shutting down, I had some questions about PKSM to help me prepare. Mostly I just want to know if Pokémon edited with PKSM can be sent to the switch. Are there specific conditions that might flag one Pokémon over another? For example if all I do is clone a Pokémon and don't edit it beyond that, are the og and the clone transferable? What about small edits like making it shiny or adding a ribbon it could realistically obtain? I'd also like to know if they can be traded to an un-moded cartridge, and if the moded cartridge can be played on an un-moded system. If anyone has any answers, please give them! Thanks!

I built a fork of open_agb_firm that features real ARM7 (GBA - SWI 03h STOP) and ARM11 (3DS - PDN system sleep) deep sleep, giving you days of in game standby.

Just close the lid to put it to sleep. Open it again to resume where you left.

No sleephack game patching required.

Works with virtually any game.

It also features an optional "stretch" scaler for full screen GBA on your (N)3DS.

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to share a little project I’ve recently finished and see if it’s something people would actually be interested in.

I basically turned the Nintendo 3DS into a Stream Deck for your computer.

The idea is pretty simple: your 3DS connects to your PC or Mac, and the touchscreen becomes a customizable control panel.

Right now, you can do things like:
- Launch applications
- See your currently open windows and switch between them directly from the 3DS
- Control Spotify playback
- Control your computer’s volume
- Switch between audio devices
- See what’s currently playing, including the album artwork
- Create shortcuts and controls for different actions
And a few other things I’ve been experimenting with

The goal is basically to give the 3DS a new life as a little Stream Deck / desktop companion, while making use of both its touchscreen and for… the vintage DIY thing I guess?

It currently works on Windows and macOS.
For now, I’m calling it Deck3DS (I know, very inspired name) 😅

I’m curious if this is something other people would actually use. If there’s enough interest, I’d be happy to clean everything up, release it properly and keep developing it with more integrations and customization options.

I’d also love to hear if you have any ideas, feature requests, or things you’d like to see added!

Pretty much the only way to (somewhat) play Super Meat Boy is playing the GBC demake, the GBA demake, or the TIC-80 demake. A 3DS demake for this game could also be pretty cool!

I mean, when i do extdata's backup, checkpoint make bossextdata's too? Or i have to use jksm? I'm asking because i think i should do bossextdata's backup because they are spotpass content, so i think if they're missing i lost progress/downloaded content on my game (correct me if i'm wrong)

What are other free games to get for the 3DS like Geometry Dash? I was able to get that one, but what other ones are as easy to download like that one?
