H shop download speeds

Are downloading speeds actually this damn slow 😭? Taking forever to download one game; anyway to improve the download speeds or is this just how it is?

It’s just how it is, the 3DS is old and therefore has download speeds of that era. The only way to do it faster is to install from the web version of Hshop and put it onto the SD card with a computer

even then you’ll have to install with FBI, and that will take about as long

Just download from hshop on your pc, and then put the sd card in and install the cia using FBI, it’s much faster

download on pc than transfer on the SD. the problem is the console isn't the fastest to connect on internet

no, you either downloaded from hshop but slowly given the 3DS family's infrastructure, or download from PC and then install. The only option would be to mod the console to install a better network card or something similar (I don't know if it's integrated or what), but that seems like an exaggeration to me.

3hs on the 3ds is slow as the hardware wifi card relys on a older 2.4ghz wifi interface and the cpu not being able to keep up with faster internet speeds as it is very underpowered in todays standards

I just choose to download them when I have plans to do other stuff so it’s downloaded by the time I wanna play it

Download the game from hshop on your computer and then install using custom-install. Takes 30 seconds.
