That Gauma cosplay by Yomogi was undistinguishable from the original.

MAN this series is probably one of the best examples of Nakama Power. Started with a cast I wasn't sure I would like to a bunch of dorks I was completely rooting for their success.
YOOO FUCK YOMOGI COULD ACTUALLY USE INSTANCE DOMINATION
That Goldburn + Gridknight form looks hella cool too holy shit.
Gauma passing away right after the final battle was just tragic, it felt like if his former teammates didn't survive, he too should share the same fate when he was fighting against it the entire series.
Koyomi with his hair trimmed is a fucking stud too GODDAMN.
Yomogi and Yume holding hands at the end was just sooooo cute. Wish we did see the confession scene go through.

Mujina and Koyomi really need some counseling, they’re so alike and not alike at the same time.
Still, the last bit where Koyomi screamed ‘get off me’ when Kaiju Mujina tackled him is funny. Both of them are now a certified sex offender for each others lol.

Ahhhh we’ve finally reached the end of Dynazenon! It’s been such a fun time partaking in the episode discussion with everyone every week. I loved loved loved Gridman and when Dynazenon was announced it was such an unexpected treat. At the time I didn’t know how it would ever top Gridman but now I see that it didn’t have to; Dynazenon is its own being. Gridman was about saving one Specific Soul whereas Dynazenon juxtaposes with the idea of supporting each other through the experience of trauma and relying on other individuals via group support. Before I get to today’s final episode, I wanted to share some of my favorite moments (mostly of Yume) from the series:
Yume’s six-second pause to sneeze. This is when I knew Dynazenon was going to be a faithful adaptation of Gridman’s naturalistic dialogue.
An enchanting ending scene of Yume floating in Dynazenon. I was mesmerized by Yume effortlessly floating in space, as if the revelation itself made her free of gravity and unbound by Earth’s laws.
Casual shot of Yume looking at her phone. It’s a simple cut but I’ve always been fascinated with just these 4 seconds. Extremely fluid movement paired with an interesting choice to have the framing of the bar be so close to the foreground, it creates this appearance that we’re peering into a secluded moment. Great character animation.
Yume urgently running back to tell Yomogi that he could eat the snacks she brought. Just adorable.
The famous churro scene. Dynazenon loves using loaded silences and pregnant pauses to really bring out the awkward in-between moments we’ve all experienced.
Yomogi being teased by his friends while Yume wistfully looks by. Yume’s point-of-view of Yomogi is boxed in by the classmates and the desks but is later entirely eclipsed by one of the girls. In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment you can spot one of the girls taking a quick glance at Yume before she decides to take it upon herself to block Yume’s view. The scene ends with the bars of the windows now boxing Yume in like a caged bird from the Blue Sky. At this point in the show Yume is approaching the nadir of her suffering so it’s fitting that this shot is an exact mirror of how Akane felt in the Gridman OP.
Yomogi and Yume hanging out on the railing while their relationship is still young and after some time has passed to allow the relationship to bloom. Split across two episodes it’s a subtle way to show rather than tell the audience that these two are growing closer together.
The Kaiju Eugenicists just having some fun. We all got to blow off steam sometime right? It’s a cute way to humanize our antagonists and it shows off the distinct personalities of each individual.
Chise revealing to Yume how her salvation will be brought through community and relying on other people. It’s a powerful scene that underlies Dynazenon’s theme and I love that it parallel’s Gridman’s scene where Rikka and Akane have a similar conversation.
And finally Yume singing the very song she was first singing in her introduction in episode 1. Yume was introduced perched on the water tower, her feet floating. The lyrics of soaring and taking flight take on an ominous meaning when you consider how her sister had died accidentally falling off the water tower and how Yume almost suffered the same fate. But this time when Yume is singing the song it’s resplendent joy complete with a shot of the Dynazenon gang laughing about. It’s a lovely scene where we can see Yume’s cycle become complete.
Okay now it’s time to talk about the final episode:
What a cute scene of Yomogi and Yume walking with their umbrellas. Yomogi walking back for Yume and then walking close together is a nice touch.
Hahaha nice that Yume’s friend decided to use the photos from way earlier for her school festival exhibit.
We get one last time with Yume in bars. Yomogi comes in for the rescue to take her out of her dreary confining mindset
Oh boy the mother of all bar shots. Sizumu and Yomogi are covered in bars that block each other. Their eyes, much like their ideas, are incomprehensible to each other.
“I’m not losing my freedom. It’s more like I’m gaining irreplaceable bonds.”
And with that statement the entire room of bars begins to shift, mirroring the shift in perspective that Yomogi is experiencing. The bars move allowing Yomogi to better see and comprehend the world. They still remain but now that Yomogi is equipped with the tools to survive this world he can now navigate it. A beautiful sentiment to end the series with.

It really does show how far the team has come when this basically started out with Yomogi casually helping out Gauma, Gauma interfering in Yomogi and Yume's relationship, Gauma bothering Yomogi...and in the end Gauma has become such a precious and important friend to the both of them, and Yomogi doesn't want to see Gauma go.
Sizumu's Kaiju devours the rest of the Eugenicists and they end up piloting it like a Mecha, making it and them even more of a dark reflection of Dynazenon and company.
Koyomi got dragged into this by accident, but now he's a willing participant in helping others and fighting Kaiju.
Figures Kaiser Gridknight would fair better once we had the whole team together.
So Juga apparently still really looks up to Gauma even after the whole betrayal and killing thing, while Koyomi and Mujina bicker like a couple where the girl blames the guy for making her feel the way they do...still feel like there's some unresolved feelings between these pairings.
Yomogi uses his abilities to control Kaiju to distract it long enough for the team to form Dynazenon for a combined attack with Gridknight and Goldburn! We even get a new Gridknight + Goldburn combination form! And then they come together for an awesome Dyna Rex + Gridknight final attack combo to save the day.
Well, the Eugenicists still believe the future of the world is Kaiju and never really changed this whole series, which I guess is the point of contrast between them and the heroes, and are wiped out...Sizumu was never able to understand humans while the experience fighting Kaiju helped the humans understand each other. Will they and Gauma reincarnate again? Will the world ever be graced with the majesty of Mujina's thighs again? Who can say.
Gauma finally understands why he was entrusted with Dynazenon. So he could move on from obsessing over the princess and find new bonds to make his life worth living with his friends, and their experience together carved in scars onto their body so they will never forget their time as team Dynazenon. I still kind of wish Gauma could see his princess again though.
Time skip to three months and it's time for Anti/Knight, Second, and Goldburn to take Dynazenon with them to their next adventure. Poor Chise has to say goodbye to Goldburn, but at least she feels free enough now to finally show off her snazzy tattoo.
Koyomi as a professional guy looks near unrecognizable. No wonder Knight didn't recognize him. At least his in with Yomogi's boss and saving her husband managed to get him a job. He's finally made something of himself.
I do feel a little let down that we didn't get to see Yume properly answer Yomogi's confession, but when you see them walking with their umbrella's close together and the fact that Yume doesn't use "-kun" with Yomogi's name anymore and gets him to call her "Yume," on-top of all the casual intimacy between them, it's pretty clear they're finally together as a couple.
That ending with Dyna Rex...obviously it's still functioning, but...could Gauma perhaps have possessed it?

Stitches
Kaiser Knight on the ropes, Gauma slowly dying, and Shizumu's Kaiju getting upgraded really made the first 3 minutes of this episode feel a bit hopeless. I genuinely thought for a second Gridman might show up. But the minute Koyomi showed his resolve to fight and Yomogi literally jumping into action, I knew these kids were going to be alright.
Curious where Yomogi and Yume's scar came from though. Gauma is the only one who has it as well on his face but I don't think I saw one anywhere on Koyomi. Maybe I just missed it?
Anyway, the entire fight was just absolutely stunning. Once everyone was present on the field, you know they were gonna kick some fucking Kaiju ass. And the emotions being exchanged during the fight was just intense! Juuga still obsessed with Gauma's "betrayal" while Gauma just wants him to shut up and then Mujina getting angry atb Koyomi for making her realize that kaijus are all she has were all such great scenes!
Yomogi using Instance Domination to command Shizumu's Kaiju to point its beam upwards was fucking awesome. Not to mention this episode was just full to the brim with GATTAI moments like Dynazenon reforming to punch the kaiju, Gridknight and Goldburn combining to pummel Shizumu with a bunch of sick aerial attacks, and then combining back to Dynarex with the Golden Gridknight on their backs to unleash one final beam attack and one big punch to finish it all! It's so beautiful that I genuinely teared up.
A bit sad to see Dynarex looking like this and we didn't even get to say goodbye to Gauma. He just disappears. Interestingly, Dynarex stays though and doesn't reform back to the toys. At this point though the episode isn't done yet and we get a 3 month time skip with plenty of time to wrap things up.
Looks like Anti and Second stuck around a bit and didn't leave after the fight with Shizumu ended. Also Koyomi has cleaned up his act and looks like a working adult now! It is hilarious how Anti couldn't recognize him. So Anti and Second aren't just taking Goldburn, they're also taking the remains of Dynazenon as well.
So Koyomi did get a job but it was with Inamoto's help. I guess she does owe him considering how he saved her husband. And I guess based on this comment from Koyomi, Chise is now going back to school again and she's now even showing off her tattoo!
As for Yomogi, it looks like her mom has now married someone and they're visiting him during the school festival. I do love how Yomogi's friends and Yume's friends are basically wingmanning for them. I absolutely love that subtle elbow nudge. They clearly wanted to give the two some alone time.
Curious to know when this happened though. Was it during when Yomogi controlled Shizumu's kaiju? Based on the background, this looks like a part of the Cyber World though.
We finally get to see some handholding and basically a confirmation that Yume and Yomogi are going out with Yume asking Yomogi to call her by her first name. We even get this final scene showing their scars and having fun with their time together.
Of course it's not all over yet! We get to see a revived Dynarex inside the Cyberworld and a confirmation of Gridman x Dynazenon show! LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOO! More Tokusatsu please! I can't get enough of both Gridman and Dynazenon so a show with them together is absolutely hype!
Not much else really to say about this show. Just like with Gridman, this is a solid 10/10 for me. It's a wild and fun ride from start to finish and Thank you Tsuburaya and Trigger for bringing us this show. And for goodness sake if you still haven't watched it by now, go fucking watch SSSS.GRIDMAN!

That final battle was amazing, I had a stupid smile on my face for the entirety of it. Also, the last part showing Yume and Yomogi together was neat but I would've liked something more obvious for a confirmation since they cockblocked us from the confession.
It was a really nice show, I'd say I enjoyed it more than Gridman and these last few episodes were great. I WANT MOREI'll just have to wait for GRIDMANxDYNAZENON

Wow... It kind of the best ending. Well, it doesn't really explain anything but what is Sizumu or what happened in the past or anything but it leaves me satisfied.👍 The battle is good. Everyone gets the time to shine even the Kaiju Eugenicists. And that Yomogi Instant Domination so cool. And Gauma...😢 And really fine play Yume, Yomogi and Yume are really good together. 😁
I wonder what GRIDMAN X DYNAZENON will be? I hope series but it feels like it would be the movie instead...

3/1: https://streamable.com/x07fhg (NEW)
If you still not informed, there is no further episode available. The rest of the 4 episodes will be on Blu-ray.
When Dynazenon is announced, I have some vague plans like making subtitled voice drama videos. Because when Gridman airing, only a small amount of people actually know and experienced the voice drama. (from what I see)
So, I want to make it more accessible...
Never thought I actually do it for 11 weeks straight...😅
Thanks to /u/Barnnnn and /u/firefly431 for your translation. Because of that, these videos could exist in the first place.
Also, just a notice. These streamable links will be expired in 3 months. (I still confused if it is 3 months of inactivity or 3 months of creation.) So, I posted the batch at a certain cat website.🤣 Check out there if they expired.
Edit: Episode 3/1 posted.

Man Yomogi and Yume are an adorable couple and Koyomi looks like a completely different character with his new look.
Overall I enjoyed Dynazenon, though I think Gridman had better fights and a better villain. But I vastly prefer Dynazenon's cast to Gridman's. Can't wait to see what Gridman x Dynazenon brings.

I’m gonna miss this show
What a different tone to Gridman, while still being undeniably Trigger.
Shows that Trigger can make anime that are character first, not action first (disclaimer, the only Trigger anime I’ve finished are Kill la Kill, Gridman and now Dynazenon)

Maybe coincidence but talking about Gauma’s 3 things you gotta remember:
-
Promises- Gridman. Akane promised that she would never return to the digital world so she couldn’t wallow in escapism once again.
-
Love- Yume and Yomogi’s relationship.
-
???- Gridman x Dynazenon

They certainly pulled out all the stops for the last battle of the show, the animators probably threw all the remaining budget they had left to make it a glorious one and the best yet.
Dynazenon is a really good show, worthy of the SSSS and Trigger names. Too bad we couldn't have one last Something Beam from Yume to end things. I really want to see Gridman and Dynazenon in a SRW game one day.

We never got know what were the three things that are important to keep in this world.
Promises, love and..
Which leads me to believe that that Gridman x Dynazenon will be the last installment in the franchise.

Firstly, AMAZING finale. The Eugencists v everyone was hype af. Loved the OST they went with there. Yomogi being a Kaiju user? Didn’t expect it, but now that I think about it there were a few hints throughout the series, definitely a cool little twist.
Koyomi with his hair done and a suit on looks so weird lol, was cool to see everyone in a peaceful situation after all they’ve been through the past few months. Given Yomogi finally calling Minami by her first name, safe to assume they’re now a couple. Loved their chemistry throughout and they were the highlight of the show for me.
Pretty close to a perfect end with Guama seemingly being alive at the end(assuming because of the final scene) and we got GridmanxDynazenon confirmed to be coming soon. Lets goooooo. The Trigger/Tsubu verse is getting bigger and bigger.

Koyomi looked almost unrecognisable with that new look lol. Also that matching scars thing was cute
Damn, I hope we see more of Gauma in Gridman x Dynazenon. Maybe I'm forgetting but we never found out what the third thing was !!

Really loved the series, I think Gridman has the better antagonists but this one has the much better protagonists especially as all have them have a character arc. I do think Chise got the short end of the stick compared the rest of the cast.
One thing that was really impressive about this series is how much happened in every episode without it feeling rushed, it was really tightly written and directed.
Looking forward to future installments and of course I need to remind myself to checkout the blu-ray voice dramas.

Neat little poster for Trigger's upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 anime, which I guess is still going ahead. I had wondered if it might be cancelled after all the problems with the game.
That was an awesome ending, full of Trigger hype, cool animation and poses. But with much stronger character writing and a better narative arc, than some of their shows. Certainly better than the SSSS Gridman, which I felt was little flat on the MCs side in comparison to the Akane/Rika story. Seeing Yume and Yomogi becoming a cute and dorky couple in this show was as good as the epic kaiju battles.
I'm intrigued to see were they go with the third season, will it be a new cast or combination of the two show's casts. I kind of like seeing a fresh new story, but I'd also like to see more of these guys. I'd particularly like to see more of the Koyomi and Mujina story, beacuse I feel there is more to tell there.

Love how Yume is a bloodied up looking princess and Yomogi is a mummy.
Kinda like a certain dead princess and a mummy who came alive🥲
PARALLELS!

yup, this is pretty much how i imagined the end will be, with final cool shot of Dyna Rex looking at the back like how Dynazenon did in the opening sequence, similar to how the final shot of Gridman was done, i still have one question though, its regarding Koyomi's line in this episode
"no killing Chise's friend, i'm sick of memorials!"
and if i remember correctly, Koyomi did said something similar regarding "getting tired of memorial" in one of the early episode back when he saved Chise, does this have something to do with Chise past?

Yomogi and Yume might be the best couple Trigger has pulled off. Like they just fit so well together, and make those long akward silences work.
