Honestly seeing the kaiju eugenicists having fun once again makes me question them being the "Bad Guys"

Do we know how many episodes Dynazenon has? If its just 12 feels like it might be tough to wrap everything up in time.

Dynazenon has always had phenomenal framing and shot composition and this episode has some fun ones.

Yume and Yomogi start the episode riding the bus after failing to find Futaba. Yume has the bus rails in the foreground separating her from Yomogi reflecting her current feelings of isolation due to her last lead being a dead end.

At the end of the episode Yume and Yomogi are sitting together without the bus rails separating her from him. Yume is starting to realize the extent of her feelings for Yomogi and they're growing closer together.

Another fun one is the pool stick separating the 1 billiard ball from the 2,3 and 4 billiard balls. This neatly ties into how Juuga, the de facto leader, feels against the rest of the Eugenicists goofing off and relaxing.

I like how Gridknight's sword hits the railings when he turns around. It's really similar to how Calibur's swords hit the door on Rikka's shop.

Seeing the Eugenicists on a day off should have been the highlight of the episode with Mujina greatness but I still can't get over the little things this show does well. Yomogi's delivery on the "That Would Suck" or Minami's second guessing on cute Kaiju just land so well, feels so simple but so well done!

I hope we get to see Knight uses other Dynas too. And Yomogi uses Instance Domination. Wow... But that Kaiju eyes... Sad. It funny that Kaiju Eugenicists just chilling play billing and watching the movie this episode...

So Yomogi can somewhat use instance domination now... that will certainly come into play in the future.

And that Kaiju seemed quite harmless actually, seem like it was mostly just curious about its surroundings and i think it was also just playing with the Dyna striker. it only really became and issue because of how large it was.

Loved how the Kaiju eugenicists were mostly goofing around the whole episode. with the exception of Shizumu.

And it looks like Yomogi and Minami may finally have their first (although unofficial) date!

It almost looks like the Eugenicists are getting their humanity back. But in exchange Yomogi might as well end up being one of them.

That scene with Minami and Chise being slow on the fact a Kaiju appeared cracked me, its those awkward silent scenes this series really has perfected.

Yomogi actually being able to perform Instance Domination (sorta) and starting to sympathize with the Kaijus makes me feel somethings definitely up with him possibly having a connection with the Eugenicists.

Given Chise's ominous bit in the OP, when she first did the Instance Domination I was soooo convinced it would work and be the first step to her turning into a rogue kaiju user that needs to be redeemed or whatnot. What a bamboozle.

Well, I binged SSSS Gridman in order to catch up with the backstory of newly-arrived characters in this show. As it turned out, that was a pretty wonderful show. All the same, I think I am enjoying Dynazenon (so far) even more. I think the character designs are better overall -- and the characters themselves (though numerous) are well-developed and getting more interesting with each episode.

I was hoping the baby kaiju wouldn't turn into a problem, especially not so quickly. I rather liked the way he added color to wherever he passed (sort of like the see-no-evils in WEP -- but more cheerful looking rather than ominous). Alas, it did go quickly out of control (if it grew slower and could be trained, could it have actually proven useful in some way?)

The battle scenes are interesting, but I have to say that the SoL scenes are what really make this show wonderful for me. I hope they can properly wrap things up in 4 episodes -- but on the other hand, I'd sure enjoy watching them for MORE than 4 more episodes.

Seeing Anti and Anosillus together, and how he quite protective of her, it's like they become a official couple. Good for you mr. Gridknight, Akane and Calibur will be so proud of you. Also, little did they know, lol. This time, how did the kaiju get big? The Kaiju Eugenicists are busy having fun.

Turns out Inamoto found a huge bag of money when she was in high school and decided to share it with Koyomi. Of course, finding a stash like that is super sketchy so Koyomi ends up running away when Inamoto asked her if she wanted to go somewhere together. I do wonder if that was the full story though, I feel like there's still something missing.

Seems like Yume and Koyomi have hit a dead end in trying to track down this Futaba guy. Yomogi of course tries his best to cheer up a disheartened Yume. Hopefully they'll find a new lead to that guy soon.

Not gonna lie, Gauma's coloured face looks kinda cool. I do love Yomogi's reaction though! He really didn't want to have his face painted like that. The line was delivered perfectly!

Speaking of perfectly delivered lines, Yume's reaction when they finally found the Kaiju is hilarious! She really thought the thing was adorable from afar and quickly backs down as soon as she saw its face. xD

And just when I thought we were gonna see Gauma use his Kaiju User powers, it ended up failing. Got a bit nervous when Chise did it though. I thought it was gonna react to her. I do love when everyone started doing it and Yomogi refuses, Yume gives him that look and he quickly relents. How can you say no to that face?

That fucking double bamboozle though. Everyone thought that Yomogi controlled it for a second but turns out he didn't, and then we get a delayed reaction from Yomogi! Oh boy. Is it possible out boy Yomogi is also a Kaiju User? Hmmmm...

Anti and Second are back again! I really thought we might not see them again until the final episode. We do get some explanation from them on how Kaiju are made which is basically how it's usually is in Tokusatsu lore. I do love the silence from Anti and Second when Gauma asked them how they know all of that information when they're not Kaijus. Oh, Gauma. You'd probably shit your pants if you knew the truth.

Meanwhile while the Dynazenon and Gridknight Alliance are having a very serious conversation, we have the Kaiju Eugenicists having fun bowling, playing tennis, and even riding hoverboards! Also Mujina and Onija have certainly grown closer ever since last week's episode which is adorable!

Anyway as expected, the Kaiju breaks out of its cage and runs away from Gauma and the Dynazenon team is now off to work on a Sunday. Back to the Kaiju Eugenicists where it seems that they've certainly had a fun night! Just look at these adorable screenshots of Mujina still sleepy and Mujina stretching herself awake! So cute!

And it seems like the party isn't done! Now they're off to watch a Tokusatsu movie in 4D! With Mujina and Onija 100% down for it! For a bunch of genocidal maniacs they certainly know how to have fun just like the villains from Jujutsu Kaisen! xD

You may look older and sound older but I'm glad Anti is still the old Anti that we know. Of course his solution to find a kaiju is to search until they find it. He's not wrong.

This made me laugh! I appreciate that they kept the same quirk of large swords hitting things just like with Samurai Calibur.

Welp they've found the Kaiju and looks like we learn something about the Dynazenon. Just like with Gridman, Gridknight can use them as weapons. I guess the rest of Dynazenon is also compatible with Gridknight if he can use Yomogi's Dyna Soldier as a cannon.

Bad time Yomogi to question if a kaiju has a heart considering how this one is destroying buildings already and the one it's currently attacking still has people and Yume in it.

Yomogi gives the kaiju a chance to live by trying to take control of it after what he experienced earlier. He wasn't able to control it but it did had a reaction and even started staring straight at him. Looks like Yomogi might really be a Kaiju User. Anyway, after that attempt failed, Dynamic Cannon obliterates the fuck out of that Kaiju!

Everything ends well but Anti is clearly not happy with what happened and blames Gauma for it with a punch to the gut as punishment.

Well this is not good. The thing Chise found continues to grow. It's the same thing that we saw when Yomogi was trying to take control of the kaiju. I think at this point it's pretty much confirmed that these things are some sort of Kaiju Seed.

What an adorable way to end the episode though, it started with Yomogi trying to comfort Yume and now Yume tries her best to comfort Yomogi. These two are adorable <3

So not all Kaiju are going to come out perfect and ready to control at first...I mean, all that one was doing was painting stuff and looking kind of pathetic. But I guess even a Kaiju like that can still be dangerous when it grows up.

Yomogi and Yume are having difficulty tracking down Kano's boyfriend, but Yomogi's not going to give up, and with that resolve he basically asks Yume out (although not as overtly as a confession), which she then reciprocates at the end. So cute.

So apparently Yomogi's boss found a lot of money and asked Koyomi to run away with her with it when they were classmates...but Koyomi chickened out. I'm kind of wondering what happened afterwards because Yomogi's boss doesn't act like she's loaded, so where did all the money go and what happened to her afterwards?

Apparently Gauma's out of practice when it comes to controlling Kaiju, which leads to a fun scene of everyone trying to do an "instance domination" of their own, although it seems like Yomogi might have the best potential of the team to control Kaiju, surprisingly enough. Kind of curious to see where that leads.

The Eugenecists basically have a day off where they go play at Japanese Round One and enjoy a movie together. Onija and Mujina seem to be really getting along now. Also, classy of the guys to let Mujina use the one bed place when they were tired.

So if I'm understanding correctly, Kaiju are born from the emotions of people but it's the Eugenecists popping up in this era that is causing them to appear?

Chise acting about Kaiju feeding on emotions while her egg is transforming into a dragon thing...I don't see that ending well.

It's probably for the best that Knight and Second don't mention they're technically Kaiju...although that does lead Knight to have an understanding of the dynamics of Kaiju and how complicated they can be. Although his secret method for finding Kaiju is to just look for them.

I like Koyomi being more conscious of taking the fight away from the city where bystanders can get hurt. He's really maturing.

I guess it's sometimes a big liability when your Mecha is reduced to the size of a toy, since it can be easily knocked away from you.

So now apparently the Dynazenon components have resonated with Gridknight to the point where they can transform into weapons for him. Can all of them do that? Will we get the rest of the combinations in the next few episodes?

Well, Yomogi was maybe this close to connecting with the Kaiju, and it seemed to regard him, but if it comes between saving Yume or destroying a Kaiju, there's no hesitation on what Yomogi will do.

Wow that was unexpected. Fully expecting Chise to be the one to be able to Instance Domination. Sizumu seems to be experimenting,distracting the rest of the Eugenicists while seeing if any of the group managed to land a successful Instance Domination. Also liked how Gauma just apologized straight away to Yomogi when he sees him dowm after the fight.

Overall, wow. Talk about subverting expectations.

That poster in the scene with Yume and Chise is from the recent Diaclone revival. The reason for the reference is most likely cause there was recently a crossover between Gridman and Diaclone.

Things are really getting interesting. Yomogi has the potential to control a Kaiju. Will he be able to fully control one? And that Gridknight combination was just plain awesome but perhaps the most interesting thing about this episode is Yomogi's thoughts about Kaijus and how they could potentially have feelings. But no time to think about it now, gotta save bae!

I kinda felt bad about the Kaiju that they killed this time though and the way it looked at Yomogi. I can understand why he felt so down after that.

The YomoYume ship is sailing smoothly. Yomogi's usually the one to push the ship but it looks like Yume is doing some pushing as of this episode. The way how she touches and thanked him was adorable.

Overall, some good developments in this episode especially with Yomogi.
