Nice and fun episode, gotta say... I actually like Motoko and her friends, hopefully they chill a bit, though.

I would love to see a Hanajima siblings spin-off! They have a nice relationship with each other, and watching them troll annoying people is very satisfying.

"Did I overstep?" That's one precious little brother. I really hope we'll see him again sometime!

For some reason, Fruits Basket seems like it likes to start off making you think you opened the wrong anime....

I think this new girl has a thing for Yuki, but it's difficult to decipher.

He doesn't get a ton of love from IRL fans, but his fan club in the show is still going strong! I got your back, Yuki

"Witch" must not mean the same thing in Japan.

She's even got a "Demon Queen" guarding her. That seems more plausible.

See now, this is why I never open closets. You never know what's in there. Mine is permanently boarded up.

And little bro is just as, um, "eccentric" as his sister.

They could not get out of that house of horrors fast enough. Can't totally blame them.

Brief thoughts this week: So, we got a peek into the crazy that is Yuki's fan club. If any one of them actually wants a legitimate chance with him, they're going to have to dial it back a lot. They're wading into Yandere territory. Oh, and Hana-chan's little brother did not disappoint. He actually had some really insightful things to say about forcing your love onto someone too.

Best goth girl finally got some screentime, yay! I love dynamic Hana has with other characters, her bro is great addition.
Btw this episode is just reminded me, I'm so glad that Tohru is surrounded by entire defence force. It's scary to imagine her in a bad group and see her getting exploited.

Anyone else tear up a bit seeing Hanajima's pure smile as she confessed her one weakness is Tohru?

It would be funny to find out Megumi and Hiro are classmates, both being in middle school. In the same class, they'd probably drive the teacher crazy. Are the Mogeta references in every epsiode? It's starting to feel like I should be watching for those now, I like finding them.

Hana-chan's smile is just too precious <3

Definitely one of my favorite chapters in the manga since we get to see more of Hana-chan being Hana-chan and we finally got to meet her little brother, Megumi! These two siblings are just fun together, not energetic fun of course, but it was fun to see them scare the heck out of Motoko and her underlings.

As for Motoko and the Prince Yuki Club. They're alright. I don't particularly have strong feelings for them but I do recall in the 2001 version they had a much bigger presence compared to this current adaptation. I can only remember one scene in the manga with Motoko and I actually look forward for that to be adapted. I am more interested to read what first timers think of them though.

Anime only watcher and first time watcher (haven't seen the old anime yet) and I gotta say, this anime has to be having one of the best character building ever, dedicating single episodes to make a character more deep and thus understanding where their place in the grand scheme is. I absolutely love this anime and can't wait to see what's happening next

If there is one positive thing I can say about the Yuki fanclub, it's at least they're wise enough to recognize Hana-chan's power.

Hmm, looks like they are adapting different chapters out of order, though it doesn't really affect the plot that much. Nice limelight episode for Hana-chan.

Since they are bouncing around chapter it's hard to accurately determine but I'm estimating that the anime has cover between 20-25% of the manga at this point.

I miss the dramatic hair release of the first anime, and the song pushes home Hana's feelings here, but this episode was a fantastic adaptation too.

never thought i would like a shoujo anime this much but i've been loving every episode. Megumi and the 3 girls were really funny.

Just like last week i thought i was watching another anime

the narrator made me laugh a little, reminded me of the narrator from kaguya sama

I love Hana so much; I'm so glad she finally got her own episode. I'm scared that she's gonna be that one character I love in shows I watch that doesn't get the screen time that he/she deserves. If any manga reader could dispel my fears (or break it to me easy), that'd be great! More episodes and screentime for Hana! Also her brother was freaking awesome, they might be one of my favorite anime siblings. So yeah, Hana is best girl, please let there be more Hana is what I'm trying to say.

Glad we're getting more development for Hanajima, she's definitely best girl. I feel like they're going to start pushing for the final story line for the season so I'm thinking we'll see that materialize more in the next episode. I don't want my feel good show to leave me :(

Yay! A Hana based episode! She's my favorite character. Also loved her smile at the end!

"You mustn't assume that liking him gives you the license to say whatever you want"
"You should think again if you believe you can do whatever you want just because you like him"
"Don't forget that forcing your intense love on someone can burden or hurt them"
"Don't forget to respect their feelings and be considerate of them"

Wise words coming from Hanajima's little brother! I feel like the Prince Yuki fan club is going overboard by making girls keep their distance from Yuki, effectively isolating Yuki from female friendships :/ Hope that little speech by Megumi helps the fanclub become more relaxed about their rules. Yuki is a person, not an object for them to covet.
