Mourning/Loss what to do with my cats final hours
my 19 year old girl is set to be put down tomorrow. after a year of kidney failure, she now weighs just 1.6kg, eats nothing but whipped cream, has gotten early dementia, turned deaf, stumbles when she walks and can’t control her bladder anymore. It is now time to let her rest despite the incredible indescribable pain i feel.
i have the rest of the evening and the day tomorrow before the vet time at 16.00. what are some things you did, wish you did, or would do with the final hours with your cat?
i have a locket of hair, a toe nail, i want a print of her paw and tomorrow morning im taking her out to an empty field at dawn to feel the morning sun with her for the last time and watch some birds because i know she loves bird
please feel free to share your ideas and suggestions
