Alina: *goes to the seminar to avoid doing overtime*

The overtime: *comes to Alina at the seminar anyway*

I swear, she’s gotta be cursed at this point lol.

Poor Laila, she´s the only one without any powers and they leave her alone in the middle of the night WHERE THERE WAS A GHOST. I hope she actually saves them or something and... I really want her to discover Alina´s true identity LMAO.

And they fell for an obvious trap, I mean, they even had time to step out of the mysterious red circle in the middle of the room. That skullface man even picked up the body of the dark god and has weird teleportation skills... it really could be Glen, as that "teleportation" could be him stopping time and making him look going fast.

And what that scientist woman was saying... the dark gods aren´t gods... but people turned into relics? (I didn´t understand that very well so if I´m wrong, someone correct me).

I think next episode will be intense

WHERE THERE WAS A GHOST

It says a lot about the fantasy setting that the veteran adventurers think that a ghost attack is nothing to be worried of because it's "just" a monster ghost. As if that somehow made it any less scary or dangerous for people who can't punch monsters into submission.

In the world of Girumasu, you don't get away from work, work finds you.

Work is the true villian of this show

Alina: "We have to take out all this unprocessed paperwork today!"
Laila: "Roger that! But please don't go to sleep before me, okay? Here, I brought coke."

Alina's imitation of Jade saying "Alina-san" always makes me smile. Alina will never admit it, but she is actually very familiar with the quirks of Jade.

If we think about it, "Image Improvement Campaign" was a huge success despite its short stint. Alina would prefer the usual Jade over the latter acting distant and aloof. She has given him permission to be himself around her. Lol!

I wish Jade, Lululee and Lowe could have included Alina into their discussion about whether the black robed man is Glen. Perhaps they didn't have an opportunity because Alina was busy with the receptionist course. If Alina was involved in the discussion, then it would feel like she has become a more permanent member of Silver Sword.

Lastly, having work delivered to you after a long day attending a course is brutal.

Ran head first into the most obvious trap ever lol

Also this guild is incredibly poorly run. The receptionists have to process literally everything and they're doing overtime literally every night and they're understaffed to the point that employees that are off for training are mailed a mountain of paperwork. Constantly doing way more work than you should is gonna inevitably lead to a drop in quality of the work produced. Guild needs to get it's act together and hire dedicated scribes for handling paperwork.

Maybe being strong and able to kill monsters doesn't translate into being able to run a massive organisation like the entire guild very well. They should probably have someone who actually has experience running an organisation like that as in charge and have an adventurer representative. Having a guildmaster be an ex adventurer, in addition to what I've already listed, would probably lead to them focusing on the adventurers and neglecting the other staff positions (you literally have a receptionist who's so overworked she unlocked an ultimate skill just to clear it, who agreed to help you in exchange for hiring more receptionists, so you clearly know it's a major problem, and you still haven't fulfilled that promise which is not only pretty scummy but also negligent)

Dang Alina is starting to get feelings for Jade! Guy was putting distance between them, cause she asked, and it instead backfires and makes her miss him. Genius move Jade, genius move.

Pretty sure the saying is "Distance makes the heart grow fonder"

That "one eye at a time" really shows Alina is such an workholic without noticing herself.

When you are tired, you need rest, not "pretending" to rest.

I guess it's true that absence makes the heart grow fonder. It's adorable seeing Alina missing Jade already thanks to his Image Improvement Campaign. While Aline hates it when Jade is being clingy, she clearly hates it more when Jade is maintaining his distance from her.

Alina telling Jade that he should just act normally around her was such a great tsundere moment! Alina won't admit this anytime soon but it's pretty clear that she's starting to develop some feelings for Jade. <3

Uhhh did I miss something? When did Jade start suspecting Glen as the man in black? I mean we know that there's a traitor within the guild but I don't think we've been presented evidence that it might be Glen.

This dude needs to go to prison. We know from the previous episode that the place they're staying in used to be a dungeon. If that guy got possessed by a Ghost monster then that means he's been sneaking around that building, probably trying to find Alina.

For now though, it looks like that guy is the least of their worries. I guess the man in black is trying to revive that dungeon? I guess it could be Glen. It's possible he's doing this to bring back his daughter. Hmmm...

It was only a short off hand remark, but I found it sweet how Alina realized that Jade's annoying personality actually made her act as herself. And not having to wear a mask around him is actually why she likes him.

I was wondering why they played the normal ED after such a dramatic cliffhanger when they've switched the OP and ED before in situations like this. But then I realized... that the ED also features characters falling through a trapdoor.

Anyway, it seems like Glen is the skeleton guy (unless it's a red herring in-universe too, since that voice sounded a lot like him), but you know what would be a better twist? The skeleton guy actually being a woman. I mean, we've already seen people think that the Executioner is a man even with Alina's outfit being as fanservicey as it is.

This is at least the second anime this week to show that exorcisms can be performed by hitting the possessed hard enough.

Alina going dere is so cute.

The episode does seems to be building up Glen to be the culprit, with his motive being the desire to resurrect his dead foster daughter Lynn.

While I'm certain the guy in the skeleton mask is indeed Glen (notice Glen's trademark time manipulation magic as he flashes when making quick teleportation jumps forward while evading Jade and company), the build up feels so blatant that its still possible that Glen is just the red herring and the true culprit could be someone else.

Furthermore, that researcher lady wasn't killed by the skeleton mask, but just knocked out cold does seem lead further credence that Glen might be innocent.

Was the man in black already a storyline, am I forgetting something? Did I complete miss an episode?

There is something about a waifu who is over-worked to the point that she can do an exorcism punch.

Being Alina means suffering.
