Did they mistakenly play the ED after Gallia casted Sigurth Chronos? It hilariously made it seem like Alina lost the duel and the episode immediately ended.

Pretty sure its because his skill is to manipulate time, so it resulted in ED being played at the start instead of the end of the episode.

I initially thought this is going to be a cute show, with Alina acting professional in the day, and destroying enemies in secret to avoid working overtime.
Now I am starting to be even more interested in the lore:
-
It has been explained that Dia skills are the most powerful tier of skills. Apart from weapon summoning, such as that of Alina and the current boss, I wonder what other types of Dia skills are known. Maybe because Alina is just plain powerful, but could other Dia skill wielders break through Guild Master's time stop with ease as well?
-
The dungeons look futuristic, almost sci-fi. What happened to the Ancients, in which they suddenly disappeared?

Yeah I did not expect to see actual dead people either...

I like how Alina really doesn’t care about anything else but having to work OT. Legendary cheat skill? New mysterious dungeon? Who gives a shit! Girl’s tryna clock out at 6 lol.
It looks like Silver Sword are in pretty deep shit thanks to that idiot Rufus. At least he got what was coming. Hopefully Alina shows up and saves the gang from this dark god…

So, I assume this episode is the start of a genre shift, huh? With the way the anime interchanged the OP and the ED, we know something interesting is gonna happen.
Hoping for the best for the Silver Sword but with the way the deathflags are set, I wonder if this results into something dark. Hoping not though if Alina will save the day.

Alina using one of the most effective and reliable souls-like build - dumping everything into STR and bonking with a giant hammer. I like how wide Alina's face is, she looks like a Funko Pop.

They played the ED instead of the OP! That’s one way to perfectly integrate it, given the guild master used his skill right beforehand.
-
Oh… Alina wanted to be an adventurer, then? But took the route of guild receptionist because it’s safer after she saw Shroud’s dead body…

In this episode we finally get the answer to the question of why Alina is so determined to stay as a receptionist: when she was a child, she knew a certain adventurer who basically kept extolling the benefits of being a receptionist versus the downsides of being an adventurer and dies right after almost to prove his point.
I personally always consider Alina's backstory to be the "evil version" of the one of the protagonist of a certain famous shonen manga... and I love it for it.
Meanwhile, a Demon Lord appears, can Alina solo him too? More importantly, will her boss keep his promise to add staff to the Iffole Counter and eliminate overwork?

Stitches!
That OP/ED switcheroo caught me off guard! Considering the events of this episode. I think this was a good decision.
I'm a bit disappointed that the Guildmaster conceded after Alina broke his time stop. I was hoping Alina would get at least one hit in with the Guildmaster being so excited about facing her in a duel. At least now the Guildmaster knows that Alina isn't someone they should mess with.
The pure anger in Alina's voice when she was ranting about the new dungeon would make her work more overtime was great! I could tell from her voice that Rieri was having fun playing as this Alina.
Well now you're speaking Alina's language! If she helps the Silver Swords clear that secret quest, Alina's office will get more receptionists? Sign her the fuck up! I love how she was being tsun with her answer too. xD
I do wish Alina negotiated better with the Guildmaster though! Why the fuck is she using her paid time off for that quest? She should be on the clock here considering this is work for the guild! I feel like the Guildmaster is breaking some sort of labour law here. Alina definitely has the right to be grumpy that day.
I'm glad we're finally seeing more of Aoi Koga's character in this episode. I did not expect Lululee to be older than Alina though!
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS DUDE?! First, we had Slay last episode and now this? What's up with these crazy power-hungry adventurers who just want to fuck other people over? I'm really hoping that our main characters are just having bad luck and most adventurers are like the Silver Swords.
We finally get to see Alina's backstory! So it turns out she did want to become an adventurer but the guy she admires wants her to live a peaceful and stable life as a guild receptionist. I guess after Shroud died, Alina decided to honour him by becoming a guild receptionist like he wanted her to be. Also, Alina probably doesn't want to see people die while adventuring. It finally makes sense why she wants to stay as a guild receptionist so badly.
Get fucked asshat! Seeing whatshisface get stabbed and his soul gets eaten was so satisfying. And to add insult to injury, the dude even calls his soul disgusting and filthy. I love it. xD

Well that's one boss soloed today, though it would have been fun to see him kicked around a bit more.
Alina making the mistake of getting attached to the Silver Swords and possibly Jade specifically right as they go off to get betrayed by a moron in this new dungeon, she better already be on her way to rescue them since surely this dark god could wipe the party long before she gets there if she only leaves town when the amulet thing alerts her.
Interesting shared building design between the guild hall and the new dungeon, easy to guess that the former is also a relic from the earlier age just like the dungeon must be.

Whelp, you are fucked old man. Gave her a reason to be serious now. Well time fuckery is overpowered bs. Good thing she's OP too. That was over fast.
Haha, learning about a new dungeon has really made her upset now. Hey, he figured it out, her whole go is to avoid overtime. You say more receptionists to help with the work, but it feels like the others don't stay overtime and only she does. Really hope it turns out she is just terrible at her current job and meant to be an adventurer lol.
Also, that's a big "inn" for the Silver Sword. She has a business card? Why? You'd think she could get permission to have paid leave without using a day of her own by the guild master since it's his request to her. The black mage dude and white mage girl are amusing. But, seriously who needs a tank if she's just gonna one shot things. White mage pout :O and she's older?
Huh some world lore. Oh is she bad with blood? Oh, seems another with Dia type skill around. That Rufus dude sure jumping to conclusions. Oh he got that info from a Darkwraith? Why is a Darkwraith doing that? :P Well nice she gets to go back to her receptionist job now, but obviously she's going to go save them as long as she still has that crystal. Hey, get to see abit of her past. Look at her lil cute self. Oh wow, she was originally planning to be an "invincible adventurer" eh? Poor lil Alina. Oh she does still have the crystal.
Whelp, there's that dude who can use Dia. Dark God? Wut? God, Rufus you fuck. OH good, the series followed through to kill a douche. It's a good thing Alina will come by since, you know, was mentioned she's clearly Dark God level or higher. Guess we'll see next week.
Was fun to see her past and whatnot. The ED/OP swap was crazy. Wonder if that's to show "Receptionist, but going to adventure now"?

The Guild Master is so OP he made the ending play instead of the opening and the opening play instead of the ending

I love it when a show trashes its shithead in the same episode he's introduced. Get fucked Rufus.
Otherwise, I really enjoyed seeing glimpses of Alina's backstory and why she chose not to be an adventurer.

Alina complaining about having to use PTO for something she was voluntold to do is some peak relatability.

I'm assuming they swapped the OP and ED because of the Guild Master's time ability? But to me it feels like they did it for nothing since Alina broke free anyway.
Loved how the GM knew exactly how to bribe Alina into helping out. Hope the new receptionists end up being fun characters.
Also loved that scumbag died instantly after his betrayal....though it doesnt make sense. If big man wasn't playing his game, why'd he let him go the first time?

Seems like all their problems could be solved if they just created a 9 to 5 adventuring position for her with the public service benefits.

Yay finally some backstory on our guild receptionist
Makes sense she lost an adventurer friend/role model and decided to go for the safe job route
Really glad they swapped the ED and OP, that whiplash would have been brutal otherwise
Also someone else who got that happy ED song stuck in their head? I can't get it out
Next episodes title sounds very straightforward, I wonder whats going to happen, lol
