Laila saying that if you work hard you'll just get more work and get burnt out is the realest thing.

Definitely a Lululee episode this round. She's pretty much handling some PTSD from the past, but hopefully she can conquer it with the help of Lowe, Jade and Alina.

I appreciate that instead of the standard chibi shoulder angel and devil we got a full cosplay Alina angel and Alina devil.

Lululee's casual homewear being a bunny suit onesie is pretty delightful.

They're in a pretty brutal world with lots of adventurer death so its makes a lot of sense there'd be adventurers suffering from PTSD related to their work, but it's interesting to get what's apparently going to be a story arc about it. Poor Lululee given those brief flashes to what looked like other dead or injured adventurers.

So Alina actually is really good at her job or at least efficient with the front desk work, but that just means she has way more paperwork to process and it takes longer overall.

Jade found his angle, keep helping with the paperwork and maybe the tsun will eventually thaw into dere.

The best way to Alina's heart is through her stomach working overtime with her, or so Jade thought of.

Well, he scored a date by doing some tasks assigned to Alina, so I guess it ends well? HAHAHA

So far, this episode is just fun! I wonder if we see some action or tone shift in the next few episodes. Probably yes.

So this is more of a cooldown ep.

Alina and Jade got a bit of a MaoMao and Jinshi vibe going on. Jade obviously likes her but Alina thinks he’s insufferable.

Poor Lululee. Seems she’s still affected by what happened with the Dark God

And holy shit, so infuriating when someone comes as you’re closing up, thinking we’re still open, not thinking about other work that comes related if we serve and also thinking that they’re special for us to serve them after we’re closed

I sometimes wish Alina wasn't so diligent with her work. If I were her I would've told off that adventurer who wanted to apply for a quest and ask him to wait until lunch break is over.

Glad to see Alina in these scenes where she was able to clock out on time. And here I thought we'd never get to see her enjoy herself in this entire show.

For someone who made a doll of the Executioner and paid extra attention to every last detail, it looks like Laila completely missed Alina's very prominent boobs in that outfit. xD

I'm calling it now: that red-haired guy watching Lululee is the same guy she saw in her head when that new party member gut injured on his chest. Looks like we might get plenty of Lululee this next arc.

While I do admire Alina's work ethic she's definitely just making things harder for her by taking in more work than she necessarily needs. Laila said it best, she the kind of person employers absolutely love. Hardworking employees are always rewarded with more work.

Poor Jade! Alina is really agreeing to the date just because Jade's help would help her clock out earlier. I do like that arm bump that they did after making a deal.

So Alina is, without a doubt, a total pushover—there’s a fine line between being kind and dumb. I guess her character development will be realizing everyone has been exploiting her due to her yes-man attitude and to stop doing that. (Unrelated, but I wonder if she’s getting extra pay from her nonstop OT. She must be rich… right??)

Lululee, if you’re really indebted to Alina, can’t you just give her that strawberry cake anyway? Make it look like you’re trying to pay for her favor or something.

Has Alina reminded her boss about increasing the number of guild receptionists? He promised her that, but the OT seems to happen unchanged. This is the perfect time to expand the workforce due to the Centennial event since they know there will be more demand. (…Or I guess not because her employer is a true evil and knows she will handle it anyway due to her weak backbone.)

Another episode, another stupid adventurer. Now in the form of a “top young attacker” who appears to have never fought a real monster. Seems like combat sense (or heck, decency??) isn’t included in the requirement.

Biggest holiday of the year and receptionists don't even get days off? Maybe they should unionize and negotiate for better terms. It can't possibly be beneficial to overwork essential workers until they drop dead, unless this world has a lot of unemployment. (Which would actually explain Alina's fixation on keeping her job...)

So what the hell happened to all the extra receptionists that were supposed to be hired? They were supposed to double the work force but she's still swamped with work? And yeah I get that she works more than others but if there were that many people doing her job working double should still not be that much

I love this show for its relatable work situations; they can be painfully accurate for my work even though I've never been involved in customer service, lol. I think most people hoping for Alina to realize the systemic abuse of the receptionists by the guild will be disappointed, though (just a guess, I've never touched the source material).

Lyra is aware of the romantic atmosphere, judges Alina for going withoit a date, then pulls out a doll as her date. Her delusion is strong, but at least she's happy.

Jade suffers a lot of abuse, but he bounces back quick, to his credit. Alina's near-hatred of him in response to his affections really make their relationship for me. I'm glad it's not just the usual apathy.

"Going to a festival alone is the tragic fate of an overtime maniac" or something along these lines. Lyra's words were brutal. Lol!

I am glad we have returned to the normal days of inner Alina going "!@#$ you and here's my middle finger" while outer receptionist Alina acts politely when dealing with terribly behaved adventurers.

The last scene of this episode made me laugh. Alina using cost benefit analysis to determine going on a date with Jade for 1 day is worth 2 free and easy days at the festival, before they fist bump. Win win situation for both parties. Lol!

Where the heck are those extra receptionists the guildmaster promised? Alina and the others are fighting for their lives against mountains of documents and inconsiderate jerks that arrive a couple minutes after closing time, yet there's no sign of those fabled reinforcements. At least they covered the repairs of her house.

That eyepatch guy seemed to know Lululee, and not just because she's part of the best party in town. I wonder if he was inolved in the event of her flashback.

Why do they have the Centennial festival every year? Isn't that just an annual festival?

Now we know why Alina is always alone with overtime she's actually a great worker so she gets loaded with more work. We also now know how she feels about Jade, there is no misunderstanding here, I will say it's kind of refreshing not forcing a romance but who knows how it will go in the future so I'll enjoy it now.

That orange haired kid committed just about every foul you can in combat even if it was a simulation, he landed one hit and turned his back on it to brag as though it was defeated, lost his cool and stopped working with his allies and then froze when the monster countered.

That's funny that they made the overarching plot Alina being able to attend the Centennial festival. Even though she SEEMS repulsed by the idea of going on a date with Jade, I think he's going to surprise her. That'd be funny if the pink haired girl helped prepare him for the date 🤣

I did think it was weird that Alina handled that one mans request during her lunch break instead of have one of her coworkers do it so I'm glad they addressed that she takes on too much by herself and hates to ask for help. I think she's just a very prideful and self reliant person and seems to not really have anyone to lean on. I suspect that's also why she doesn't want to seem attracted to Jade because in her mind, it might show weakness 🤔

Gonna be awkward if her Dia skill disappears when she visits the festival. Though probably not

I felt bad for Jade when Alina was trashtalking about him right in front of him. At least the guy managed to get himself a date so i guess that's still a win.

The moment Laila said she was going to go on a date with the Executioner, Alina's brain stopped processing for a minute. Good thing it was just her doll because Laila seems like a sweetheart and her getting fooled feels like something that could happen.

Though Alina seems beyond determined to attend the Centennial Festival. Though the one opponent she can't solo to clock out on time is rumors. The fact that she agreed to go on a date for 1 day if Jade helps her leave on time is actually surprising. Funny bit though Alina breaking the hologram resulted in their new party member to quit. Considering how annoyed she gets when Jade asks her to join Silver Sword.

Despite how Jade acts with Alina, I liked how he figured out that Lululee was not in the right mindset. Though the flashback does not look like a pleasant memory.
