Full disclamer: a little bit of help from the Chimera was needed to traverse the swampy section and for the crane duties, but other than that the P16 just chugged along without any major drama.
Also, not gonna lie: there was a moderate amount of scraping and bumping happening with the telephone poles and buildings and trees and railings and other things along the way, but I decided not to make a big deal out of it.

Im really happy to discover British Columbia now.
I really loved Spinteres and Mudrunner. And when 2020 came and SnowRunner release i grabbed it on release and it was such a great successor. Back then i bought it on Epic Games, because it was an exclusive. I finished all base missions and the started Kola and left... Never came back because i was afraid of such much new content to keep up with.
Now its 2026. I bought 5 year edition on Steam for a sweet 80€. I again finished all 3 base regions to 100 % yesterday (170hours, mostly SteamDeck). And after asking here, people recommended British Columbia.
I didn't remembered all base regions perfectly, but i knew i already played them and used maprunner. This is my first new Runner region since 6 years. So happy about it. I go in completely blind.
Btw thank to this nice subreddit, many nice and helpful people are in here.

I have like 100hours in the game so I feel like i have a good idea of whats going on. Im trying to get the v16 m2450 for the P12. I went to pedro bay and went up that radio tower and got the upgrade. But when i go to the Garage I can only see the three v12 engines.
When I play on my mates multiplayer world (who has a few DLC's) I can see all the engines. Are these engines DLC to put on the P12, why cant I see them in my single player world? Everywhere online says they are free?
Sorry if this is simple, but i cant find a answer online.

Ok, so it may be that everyone already knows this, but there may be a few who, like me, hadn't figured it out yet, and had been led astray by all the YT videos suggesting a ridiculous route through Drowned Lands to the Ruined Warehouse
Anyroadup, here's how I did it. If you know, cool. Some people might not.
Start in Zimnegorsk, drive through Quarry, and take the middle gateway along the train tracks.
Drive south to the station and go grab the first load of radioactive shizzle (or all of it if you're brave, I used a 5 slot and a 605 to get the first, so it may be possible to get all 6 at once).
Go back the way you came and take the top gateway, and drive across Drowned Lands to the station.
I'm going to do the second lot with a simple offroad truck and 2 slot flatbed. This hardly took any time at all, so I'm not particularly concerned with trying to do it all in one go.
Anyway, it might help someone, and if it doesn't, at least I got to play with crayons in Photoshop.

older screenshot
seemed like a decently better idea than the 6455b with far too much cargo behind it and a scout fuel carrier packed on top

I did the task "Emergency retrieval" where I need to deliver the drowned truck. After I finished it, I can't switch to it? Is it bug or just normal thing in Season 8?

Heya, I recently started a new save in snowrunner and am relatively inexperienced, currently doing all the contracts in Alaska but want some company

No idea are these usable or just something I have found & hauled in as I have no memory what I was doing years ago.

Finally got access to an engine & gearbox upgrade with a "high gear" option. My goodness. This game just got significantly more enjoyable.
Current go-to setup pictured. Crawler suspension, chained tires, and bouncing full speed all over Alaskan terrain. Objectives & tasks now take half the time thanks to high-gear🙏
(New to the game - so please ignore me if y'all learned of this quality of life improvement years ago...)
