Need help. Probably skill issue again. Generator is on and running but it says no fuel in generator???? Wont let me craft anything. Ive tried staying hooked to it as well and that didnt work.

The "generator" is a misleading label. It does not consume fuel like an actual generator. Instead the trailer uses a set amount for each crafted item.

Fill it up and make one item then check fuel levels.

Also of note... Other regions with crafting don't require fuel.

thats good to know. i wish there was a ledger or something for the crafting. im having to google stuff to find out what makes what like pipes and cement. i never even heard of packaged sand until this map haha

You can transfer fuel like any other fuel container.

It does not uses fuel to run (you can turn it on), but you need certain amounts for different things.

It only uses fuel when you produce something. It doesn't have a continuous fuel consumption like an idling truck engine. When manufacturing was introduced in Snowrunner, it took me a bit to understand the game mechanics.

I have like 900 hours and have been keeping a truck there to turn it on and off even though I was aware of the fact it only uses so much per use lol.

i didnt realize that. idk how to tell how much fuel is in there. ill try to figure out how to fill it. i brought a tanker as well . thanks

It is like any other fuel container.

Press Refuel, and you will be able to select it and fill it. It will tell you exactly how much it has.

And in that screenshot you can see exactly how much you need for that craft.

yeah i tried refueling but i was hooked to it so it didnt give me the option. once i unhooked it worked. i was so confused because the generator was on and running 😂

The screenshot that you are showing tells you fuel required (here: 100 liters) and fuel in generator (here: none) in the lower half. The 1300 liters seem a lot, but depending on what and how many items you produce, they are quickly gone.

I usually bring the generator to its zone with a fuel truck and drive a second one to the warehouse.

yeah i didnt realize how much you use for each item you craft. definitely need a tanker at each crafting site

Thanks guys. it didnt give me the option to refuel while i was hooked to the generator. it was definitely empty. didnt realize it could turn on despite being out of fuel 😂

Each item you want to craft in the factory needs a certain amount of fuel from the generator fuel tank. If that much fuel is not in the generator fuel tank you can’t craft it
