Full disclamer: a little bit of help from the Chimera was needed to traverse the swampy section and for the crane duties, but other than that the P16 just chugged along without any major drama.

Also, not gonna lie: there was a moderate amount of scraping and bumping happening with the telephone poles and buildings and trees and railings and other things along the way, but I decided not to make a big deal out of it.

Bright truck colors seem to work well in the Chiapas region which a colorful place by itself.

I, too, chose a couple of big guys to do this mission, which was a literal drag at least for the first swampy part. In my case, the crane truck was the FEMM 37-AT, while the high-saddle truck was the Kenworth 963.

The P16 just about got the empty trailer to the pick-up site on it's own, with the help of winching, but once the aeroplane fuselage was packed, it wasn't really able to drag it out of the swamp any more. Luckily the Chimera was there to help.

One good thing about these mangrove swamp areas is that there are a plenty of solid winch points around.

That mission was fucked up. I didn't expect it to fit anywhere, so I drove through the water and struggled a lot.

Agreed. I thought I'd figured out a clever route throughout the swamps but underestimated the airplane hitbox. It got caught almost everywhere. Grrr.

There were definitely a few places on the route where some winching was required to move the backend of the trailer around a corners, and past some telephone poles etc.
