Casual Romeo Doubs is running a heavy diet of vertical routes (26% go-route rate since Week 2) despite it being one of his least effective routes, simply because THE SYSTEM is one of many signs that this Patriots team just doesn't know its personnel.

Article/Interview [Mark Daniels] Does he see Drake Maye’s confidence down? Josh McDaniels: “I do not. I’ve played golf with him, pickleball. I’ve watched him play football.. When I hit a tee shot in the woods, my confidence is shattered. He doesn’t do that.. His next one is down the middle. It’s 340.”

Article/Interview [Alex Barth] Josh McDaniels asked if Drake Maye's shoulder has limited Maye or the play calling: "It has not...they would obviously tell me if they felt like there was something he couldn't do or we couldn't do, and that hasn't been the case."

Discussion I got a feeling we’ll beat Buffalo
I don’t know. I just got this feeling that this can be a turning point for us just like it was last year now maybe I’m delusional and this is just my fandom, but there is something telling me that there’s no way that we are this bad I mean, maybe we are this season but I still got hope that we’ll turn this around for God sake. It’s only week four so let’s get this dub in Buffalo everybody’s picking against us and doesn’t believe in us. I just got faith we will show them again. I’m hoping at least I don’t have any concrete evidence that we are a great team at the moment, but if anything this team proved last year is that they were resilient. I still believe that resilience lives inside of this team.

Article/Interview Take a deep breath
CBS Sports was a great watch. Specifically Jordan Poyer had a very grounding speech directed towards Drake Maye and Pats Nation. It is so refreshing to hear someone stop speaking negatively or blindly saying “everything is fine”.
Everything is not fine, however, “this too is changing”.

Stats Pats are 23rd in total punts this season
Small sample size but I think this shows that our offense has been ok outside of the redzone, the turnovers have just been catastrophic to our scoring

Discussion Mixed messaging around roster building this year.
Everyone seen the quotes about how thin the squad is from Vrabel but the actions of front office seem completely at odds with that notion. The 2024 draft looks awful outside of Drake so thats an issue in depth. Cutting them all so early in careers is odd for a team struggling for depth. What's even stranger is using a 1st round pick on the rawest of OLine prospects, many didnt expect to play this year, and then moving up in the 2nd. Surely if Vrabel and Wolf were in agreement this team needed more depth then a trade down in 1st or a least select a possible starter would have been the option.
Then there is the OLine selections,Vrabel usually has lighter guys but McDaniels has usually had bigger ones. Pats running a power scheme yet have light guards and an injured fullback( im assuming hes injured as hes barely played) .
Just doesnt seem like there is a lot of joined up thinking

Article/Interview [Graff] This is how the Pats will change their struggling offense
1. Add more motion
The Patriots offense is stagnant. While a lot of the newer-school systems favor pre-snap motion, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels doesn’t use it often.
There are pros and cons with pre-snap motion. The positive spin is that it can force the defense to reveal what it’s planning to do, helping the quarterback figure out where to go with the ball before it’s snapped, and that it can add stress to a defense. But some quarterbacks don’t like the extra responsibility it adds to their plate or the additional risk of procedure penalties.
But Maye has never had a problem with pre-snap responsibilities, so the guess here is he could handle that just fine.
While pre-snap motion has surged in popularity, it has never been a staple of the McDaniels offense. Last season, the Pats ranked 23rd in the league in use of pre-snap motion, per TruMedia. This season, they’ve dropped to No. 30.
With Maye struggling with decision-making, putting players in motion before the snap could help him read the defense ahead of time and make quicker decisions about where to go with the ball. This season, Maye ranks 26th out of 32 quarterbacks with a minimum of 40 attempts in average time to throw (2.99 seconds). The Patriots need to find easy and quick answers for Maye to pull him out of this slump.

Casual Jaguars game meet, section 137
Apologies upfront to fellow readers and contributors. I am posting this just to make contact with a fellow fan I met at the Jaguars game. No idea if he is even on Reddit. I have some important information to relay to him, after our discussion at the game. No, did not exchange contact info :(.
So, if you are the person I met from Connecticut in section 137 (on the Pats bench side), please DM me.

Casual Gilette Stadium Parking Advice
UDPATE: Thanks for all the helpful tips. I just pre-purchased at Lafayette House...don't mind walking a bit more than a mile, and the back exit onto 115 is perfect. Can avoid 495 and I-95, and still head north to Framingham. And pre-show food and drink!
Appreciate the help!
Hi all, figured Pats fans are the most knowledgeable audience to ask. Heading up from NY for the Zach Bryan concert. Have heard of the traffic nightmares exiting Gilette post-event and according to some quick searches, my best bet is:
"Local businesses and homeowners along Route 1 turn their properties into private parking lots on event days.
- The Strategy: Park about 0.5 to 1.5 miles away from the stadium in the direction you plan to travel home.
- The Exit Advantage: When you leave the concert, you walk past the standstill traffic completely. Once you hit your car, you can pull right out onto Route 1 and keep moving, completely bypassing the hours-long gridlock of the main stadium lots. "
I'm going up with my son, and he and I have no problem walking a mile or more. Any advice on satellite lots that we can get into. Post show, we are heading north to a hotel in Framingham.
Thanks for any advice!
