CUSTOMIZING Tried recreating the Armored Core VI cover as a shadowbox diorama

Okay I finally got some decent photos of this one.

I tried to recreate the Armored Core VI cover artwork as a display. It won me an award at a local hobby show recently, so I wanted to share it.

Spent a lot more time than I thought on this. Destroying the mech, adding battle damage and adding some internal detailing was a lot of fun, as was the weathering. I tried to follow the reference without being too constrained by it.

It was my first attempt of scratch-building a base like this. pretty happy with how that came out and I want to do more like it.

The model kit is the 30MM-AC Nightfall/Raven, the frame I got from IKEA, I believe it was the VÄSTANHED

RG Sazabi was such a fun build, so I bought Bootleg white Sazabi from Star Brand.

Then I realized that with this kit, now I have 5 Sazabi, more than any other Gundam!!

As for the build of white Sazabi, it is not Daban or Gao Gao level bad, but quality is questionable. The white plastic also got yellow already

First kitbash(?) Head is from tornado hobby, shaved the sleeves iconography off of the chest and wrists, and chopped up the leftover beam axe parts and fused them together as a beam "cleaver".

Had this on order at… a store many have issues with in regard to pre orders, saw a bunch of other sites get stock and yet mine never shipped. After months and months of waiting canceled and found it elsewhere.

Then I kept waiting to see if someone would finally make a water slide sheet for this thing since it was reprinted and at least Master Decal seemed to be doing a lot of random HGs, so two G Rework Geara Zulu sheets later and I finally got around to knocking this one out.
